What was your worst lab zap ever?

For me, it was when Poko my lab pet got zapped as Ice Bruce! Ice Bruces look horrible, they look like they are made out of ice cream but melting!

My worst one was getting a Green Skeith. For the third time. I have zapped more green Skeiths than anything else, and it must be the most boring, least appealing combination I could imagine for my lab pet (who happens to have the personality of a spoiled princess).

They used to look sooooo much better. The redraws positively slaughtered their poor little cute appeal.

I've never zapped pets, due to my conspicuous lack of the lab ray.

But I think this board will see a lot of the same; basic colors and basic species, the standard bad zaps.

Or is it worst zaps, as in, tempting color, awful pet, or vice versa?

Hm, I should check out my labbing log again. ^^ I zapped Razeal for a long time, this is how she changed colour:

Wow, looks like I got some pretty nice colours. The first lab exclusive was Robot Aisha, which was not bad. Then Robot Peophin, which was quite ugly. Then after a while a Chocolate Lenny, which wasn't all that chocolatey, but not bad anyway. Then an Aubergine Chia, and after that no more lab exclusives. Eventually ended up with Island Lutari.

So from those 36 colours (that many?!) the ones I liked least are Robot Peophin, then Red Poogle (never liked Poogles), but the rest is okay.

Grey zafara to GREEN UNI. I was about ready to quit neo due to being so mad.

It's a three-way-tie between my (currently) Darigan Eyrie turning into a Darigan Lenny when I was going for Darigan Eyrie, and him turning into a female white Usul. For months. I was waiting for his gender to change before I gave him the potion.

Third one? My (currently) ice Hissi turning into a Snot Korbat. Although in the end, the Ray made up for that one =) *Hugs Stubwing* *Gets arms stuck*

I don't really consider any of my lab zaps "unlucky" XD Although there are some I haven't been too happy about...

The first species change I got was a Skeith, my least favorite Neopets. -_- At least it wasn't too bad. I got about three new avatars thanks to it. But still... I was plagued with Skeith for months, at least. And when he changed to Gold... He resembled something like a big, fat gargoyle. D:

Not really as bad as it ironic but... Veis has changed species to green Xweetok twice. XD

And since I've always considered Veis a boy, seeing him spending more time as a female can get a little annoying. -_-

But my "worst" wasn't the lab ray at all. But the petpet lab. I had been zapping this one petpet for a long time. It had aged considerably and it probably would've been eligible for many petpet avatars once it got zapped that species. And it's level was at 17 when it... Died. And then there was that petpet that disappeared the first time I zapped it. XDD

So, yeah. Not so much unlucky lab ray zaps, but the petpet ray seems to loathe me.

I only zap Amargen...

He went from Green Jetsam -> Gold -> Spotted -> Blue -> Faerie -> Green Lutari -> Blue -> Red -> Island -> Pink -> Blue Lenny >.<

He or she (I forget xD) is still a blue Lenny. I was pretty mad until I remembered I could get an avvie from him/her. I'm sure the lab ray will change him/her soon enough. I've had only stat and gender changes for the past few weeks though.
