I really don't have much to go off of. I started last night with no plot, no characters, nothing. In a flash of inspiration, I decided to do a cliche epic fantasy adventure! It'll have knights, and fighting, and ninja, and pirates, and non-corporeal voices!
The first clip that I feel like sharing is this:

These clips make me laugh. Thought I'd share them. ^_^;
“Well, well, well. Look who finally decided to get up. What kept you Xar? Packing to go home all ready?” The drawl was unmistakable. Xar turned and looked at the speaker. His rival and enemy at the school: Draco Malfoy. Wait. No, wrong story. Xar’s rival was Silabus.
------
Xar fingered the knife at his side. Silabus was so unguarded. A quick throw would be all it would take. Nothing fatal, just enough to wound him, take him out of contention for apprenticeship. This was Silabus’ third try as well, after all. It’d only serve him right…
“Xar, you know what will happen if you do it.”
“Yes, Master Jinn. But one can always fantasize, right?”
The wizened old teacher sighed. “You and Silabus have been my best students for years. Why couldn’t you two ever just get along?”
“Like you said. I’m the best and I guess he just can’t admit that.”
“That’s not what I said.” Master Jinn shook his head with a chuckle.

So here's what I have so far:
Xarival has been chosen as The Catalyst for something. That means he's going to start hearing a voice in his head talking to him and telling him to do stuff. He's also a student in an academy that trains people to become apprentices to knights. On his last chance to be chosen for apprenticeship he finally gets chosen by the mysterious Stalos the Crimson Lightning (hush). His rival Silabus was taken by Vaent of the Azure Flame (who has never chosen an apprentice in his life). Silabus and Xar both are some of the best students of the academy and seem destined for greatness.
And that's about all I've come up with so far.
I'll just keep writing to see where else this'll lead me to as the days go on.

After the D&D sessions I play, I'm going to have to include the following: a compulsive lying sea-dwarf, and a minotaur that talks like Ah-nold.
