Aww, that's a sweet idea. ^^ Of course, brainstorming is good! =D You remind me of myself with the 'Insert name' things. I generally think of the names last too. XD

XD [shadow=purple,left,300]Really? ;D Thanks. I thought of it last summer. Might draw a picture of the girl, but I don't have time. >_>;; And maybe the name could be something like Laia, or Milliana, or Visenne...eh, I tend to make up more names these days.[/shadow]

[shadow=purple,left,300]NaNo hasn't even started yet and my thread's gathering dust. ^^;;;
Almost-complete synopsis:
Liara is this normal average little girl who lives with her parents. At the young age of three, she learns piano from her mother, starting from the basic scale to little ditties her young mind can comprehend. Besides piano, she has just about everything - she does well in school, has a ton of friends (and they all want to form their own band someday), and her parents are uber-supportive of whatever she does, from recitals to table tennis tournaments.
But shortly after Liara turns thirteen, her mother leaves for a business trip - the first time she would leave her daughter and husband for much longer than a few days. It would be a week. Of course, Liara misses her mother sorely...
And then her plane crashes. Although few people managed to survive, Liara's mother wasn't one of them.
Both father and daughter are crushed. In fact, the memory was painful enough to make Liara stop playing the piano, because it reminded her so much of her mother. But as her dad steps in and shows her once again the joys of playing the piano, and how her mother would be happy if she kept on doing it, Liara decides to restart her life, try to get up again, and most of all, organize her all-girl band.[/shadow]
