Ostensibly, the 'official' Dares thread is here. >.> But either one works. I'll repeat the one I gave the NaNo'ers last year: Include a jar of grape jelly at least five times in your novel. It must physically be there, as in, "I picked up the jar of grape jelly", not as in, "The sunset looked like a giant jar of grape jelly had been smashed over the sky"--even though that would be a pretty awesome line as well. Bonus points if it has some symbolic meaning or if it is a plot element of the story. Oh, I'm takin' that one. Thanks, you've just helped me start my story.

Undead penguins? I wanna do that! the same dares can be done by multiple people, right?
Since I just LOST the stupid thing and have to start over, and the story is set patly in the Antarctic, penguins shouldn't be very difficult. It's the undead bit that'll take some thinking in order to do it without being completely ridiculous.
Gimme Noc's as well. The wet sponge.

Dare: Have a character play with a wet sponge! Double Points: If other characters join in. Triple Points: If the sponge is actually the long lost spirit of the character's great and evil ancestor and wreaks havoc upon the world. Good luck with triple points. ^^ Please...define "play"? lol I've decided to pick up this dare, too. I have an idea where I can use it...

Dare: Have one of your charecters pop their toes in your story. ((XD don't ASK)) Double Dare: If it's an odd quirk. Triple Dare: If it's done in a serious moment.
...I have no comment.

DARE: Have one of your characters have a daughter named "Angela." Last night, furiously writing, a girl of twelve popped into my story... and the first name that popped to mind was Angela. So...I accidentally "completed" my first dare, and I hadn't even accepted it... lol

Dare: To have at least five cups of tea consumed Bonus Points: If the same characters drinks all the teas Double Bonus Points: If five of the teas are peppermint, chamomile, earl grey, chai, and green tea Dare: Include the phrase "You ATE it?!" somewhere in your story. Extra point: The item that was eaten (or thought to be eaten, if the answer to 'you ate it' is actually 'no') was not food (and I mean, it's not considered food even remotely) Double points: The item was some type of underwear. Triple points: The character being asked the question responds "Yes". Taking all of these. <3 For the dare Fj0rd set - Only taking the main dare, not the double points. For Writing Wolf's dare - Doing it for double points, not triple. =D
