Urgh D-: I wanna join in with this but everyone says "You can't put a lot of thought into it, you have to just write off the top of your head" and I have to write with a complex plotline in mind... ... My dad asked if I wanted anything for my birthday. Yesterday, I was thinking the only way I could sign up for NaNo is if I got a laptop, because then I could write at my breaks during classes school. Now I'm thinking it might be a good time to ask for one... not just for NaNo, obviously, I think having a laptop could be really useful, but that'd definitely be a great advantage! I must think about this...

I've decided not to do NaNo this year. I don't have anywhere near enough time in November. And I'm horrible at sticking to one plot for a long time. But, I'll be cheering all of you on. ^^

I've seen something that's made me change my mind completely.
I'm going to write a novel this November and, what's more, I'm going to edit it in December. Before the 3rd of January I'll have a finished manuscript.
I need to think through my plot and then I'll sign up.

;_; I really love doing Nano, but everytime I do it, it kills my creativity and my writing-ness for the rest of the year. I love participating but I'm in two minds right now. I've entered and finished twice 2004 and 2005 (last year, by the skin of my teeth - no plot, no ideas really, just began and I ended up writing the last 20k on the last day, right up until midnight ) Eek, I'm just not sure. |

I'm joining... because last year I felt I was missing out on a lot of fun, and I hunger for more incentive to write, and I think it'll be fun to see what I'll turn out in November. I have no plot and no character ideas at the moment. I'd kind of like to not plan it out and have it be an honestly junky novel that I had fun writing. And meh username is Aquanut. ^^ |
