Lol, like everyone's trying for 10k. I'm just trying to meet the standard of 5k. xD How do you submit your wordcount? I can't find it! You're doing really good, Echo, I swear!  And this might not be completely right because I'm not on the Nano site at the moment but at the top where the little red words are click 'edit profile', then something like 'author information'? I dunno but it'll take you to another page, if you scroll all the way to the bottom there's a place to input your wordcount. |

How do you submit your wordcount? I can't find it! Um, it's on the edit author info page, I think.  You have to actually type in the amount of words you have, last I checked. |

Okay, first off, i haven't been here in a while, so I guess I should answer some questions.
M-W stands for Merriam Webster, which is the site I use (in lue (sp?) of dictionary.com).
I would love to have a cameo in your story! I would actually be honored! *blushes*
And, to put your word count on the site, just go to edit profile, click on the second tab (I can't remember what it's called) and update word count.
I will definitely be doing word wars tomorrow, most likely about 12 hours (thanks to daylight savings) from when I post this message. Good luck to you all, and have a nice extra hour of sleep!

Aw...the NaNo site is down.  Considering there are 90,000 authors this year and you can bet almost all of them are feverishly refreshing on NaNo pages, I think their host is pretty justified in lagging and crashing. ^^; And Chris did warn us that this was probably going to happen. XD I'm 10 hours into NaNo Day 4. No words yet but yes, I'm headache free. Finally! |

Oh wow, your chapters are long! Mine are only about 2k-3k words long. But, I guess it's okay. There aren't all about competition, it's just about motivating people to write. Either way, good luck!
