That's right. We don't need the NaNo site (which is incredibly laggy at the moment) to have word wars, we can just have them here at the NTWF. They're simple, for all of you NaNoers out there, and they really do help. All you have to do is find someone to do it with (or you can do it with yourself, which is just as helpful), and follow these simple rules:
~Set up a time period, such as 10 min, 20 min, etc.
~Agree on a time at which you will start
~At the set time, you have to just start writing. You will write for the time period/length you have agreed upon (standard lengths are 10 and 30 minutes). Once time is up, you check how many words you wrote. The person with the most words for that round wins.
~This is not only a fun competition, but a great way to get some of those extra words down on paper.
So, feel free to PM someone and set up some word wars, or do it yourself! Either way, it's really helpful! ;D

And yeah, it is a bit weird. I don't know what it means, either. He was on his bike, he stopped, pulled out a piece of pink chalk, wrote the three F's, and turned around! It was so...strange...
