Anyway, before I start sketching this out in my head, can someone give me the name of a decent downloadable free word processor? I'd use the google one, but my internet's not reliable enough.

Open Office. I use it on my laptop. :3 www.openoffice.orgbut of course, you could just google other ones, but this is the one I use and I've heard people recommend it. |
