No, my story has nothing to do with cheese puffs, but it does have to do with armageddon! Squee. Excerpts will be posted here from time to time, as will food pictures. Because I'm awesome enough to do that.

My novel idea so far (subject to change): An executed serial killer enters heaven, but suddenly feels like he doesn't deserve to be there and tries to make his way into hell. Kind of like a more twisted version of The Five People You Meet In Heaven. Lots of life lessons and meaningful people and such.

Random quotes, part 1:
Opening lines: "At the time of Roy Barringer’s death, the Stevenson Prison in Northwestern Indiana was home to exactly 2,155 convicts and one kind person. Roy was not that one person."
On learning about death: "So when his lawyer gave him the news of his scheduled death, he jumped for joy. He hugged his lawyer. He kissed the warden."
Bad news: " “What?” Roy asked, knowing that any ‘bad news’ now would probably either A) not affect him or B) make him only happier. "You’re gonna get fried tomorrow. Sorry.” “Are you kidding me?” Roy almost shouted. “This is the happiest moment of my life!”"
Have a nice day: "The lawyer just sighed at him and said, “Fine. I’ll make a note not to attend your execution.” As he began walking out the door, Roy shouted out to him “You have a nice day, too!”"
Caffeine: "Roy still spent the night lying on his stone cot, twitching, saying stuff to himself like a six-year-old who got into the family’s caffeine stash."

**By the way, my novel idea didn't change. I have an excerpt on the nanowrimo.org website, add me as a friend please! (Bag)
Quotes, part 2:
Friends and Fruit: “I passed him in the grocery store, and we began talking about cantaloupes and then we became friends.”
The Big Picture: "Well, if you only have a few glances of someone, you haven’t really seen them, have you?"
Reunion: “I know. It feels ridiculous to me. But I killed you. And now you’re taking me back. I’m dead. Everything my parents said was right. This is just way too much for me to handle right now.”
Would you like extra wasabi?: "She ordered something that Roy didn’t understand and he decided to try California Rolls because they sounded the most American."
That would be correct: “Let me get this straight: I killed seven people and you’re saying I’m not evil.”
Pain: “You’re thinking about the bad stuff,” Elly said. “Don’t think about that. There’s no such thing as pain or regret in heaven but that doesn’t mean it can’t hurt at the beginning.”
The People's Court: "That’s what the public thought made you evil. That you were willing to do it. What does the public know about right and wrong, though?"
