Forum Nickname: Omni

Species: Chimera, specifically an anthro eagle-lion-wolf-fox.

Transformations: Can switch between being a biped and a quadruped. There is no magic involved in the switch because Omni has a special skeleton that allows her to switch between the two.

Character type: Mage, writer

Weapon of Choice: Has fallen out of the habit of fighting physically. However, when something happens, she prefers her magic. She also has a dagger that she has lined with silver, and can always fall back on her claws and teeth (which are carnivore teeth).

Magical capabilities: Can take magical energy from someone/thing nearby and use it for spells based on the energy type, e.g. she needs fire energy for fire spells. She still needs to learn how to use each spell. She has a crystal that can store large (but still limited) amounts of energy. Her crystal also gives her defensive powers (sometimes a shield, sometimes it just reduces damage) and healing powers, that can be used at the expense of stored energy. (She cannot heal herself, although her natural healing is a little faster and tends to heal better when she has her crystal.) She can also feel magical energy (and non-magical life energy) when it comes in contact with her aura. Her own energy is neutral, and she cannot use magic with it. While her crystal gives her far better reserves, she has been working on increasing her base energy levels. She's also trying to practice breaking boards and such, though is not good at it yet (the crystal helps).

Physical traits: Flight. Enhanced senses. Great sense of balance. Good dexterity (biped). Good land speed (quadruped). Has generally poor upper-body strength.

Taco Writer info: Has the standard rolling-dice abilities. Unlike most Writers, she chooses not to let the characters that she brings know that they're in a world of story, or that they have a 'writer.' Instead, she chooses to get to know them as just another friend (if anything), though some characters may see her as someone who tends to know things and show up out of nowhere. She also doesn't do much to 'rewrite' the world around her, choosing to stick to more natural methods when possible. The closest thing she has to a 'signature writer power' is her energy-manipulation.

Personality: Quiet. Introverted. Tends to stick with logic and analyzing more than most forumers. Good with computers. Can be difficult to understand, in more than one sense of the term.

MegaMan X

The MegaMan X universe is a world where fully sentient robots, known as 'Reploids,' exist. They appear to be fully able to choose for themselves. However, there's a virus that can infect Reploids, disrupting their system and causing them to go 'Maverick' - basically turn evil, resenting Humans and trying to take the world for themselves.

MegaMan X (usually just goes by 'X'):

*Preferred weapon: X buster; an energy cannon integrated into his arm that he can swap out his hand for. Comes with the ability to make powerful charged shots.
*Other fighting info: Able to use the abilities (or adapted versions thereof) of enemies that he has defeated. Sometimes picks up a powerful new set of armor. However, he will usually relinquish these once a major battle is over as he doesn't want to become too powerful.

*Personality: Zero acts rather cold, and wears a glare to match it. He prefers not to dwell on trivial things, or the past, especially on missions. However, he's not heartless. In fact, he's incredibly loyal to those that can earn his trust and that he considers his friends. Though with the problems that the Maverick Virus has caused, he's fought close friends before, and with little or no hesitation.
*Preferred weapon: The Z-Saber; a blade made of concentrated energy that can slice through some pretty strong metals (weaker materials would be like tissue paper).
*Other fighting info: Can learn skills from the enemies he fights, including elemental ones. So it's not uncommon to see him do a fire-slash or an electric-stab. In the newer 'Absolute Zero' form, he drops his saber, gaining claws, and gets a bit meaner.
*Misc. info: Zero has been a Maverick Hunter about as long as he can remember, and a powerful one, too. The Maverick Virus doesn't seem to damage his systems (quite the opposite, in fact).

*Preferred weapon: A set of energy pistols with rapid-fire option, and the ability to copy enemy data.
*Other fighting info: Quite capable of using other firearms. He also has the unusual ability to shapeshift into Reploids that he's copied the data of, which is what lets him get into enemy territory so easily. He can also hover for about two seconds.
*Misc. info: New addition to the Maverick Hunters. Axl is a young New Generation prototype, designed to have immunity to viruses.

*Preferred weapon: Recently equipped a plasma cannon that she can swap out her hand for, similar to X's.
*Other fighting info: She seems to have modeled her weapon system after X's, including the ability to use enemy's weapons. However, she's still not quite as powerful, and she can't use different armor sets.
*Misc. info: Alia is the primary Navigater in the Hunter Base; this basically means that she watches the others while they're on the field, examines the area around them using satellite and whatnot, and gives them advice to help them stay alive. She also worked in Reploid Research and Development and is very good at analyzing data.

*Personality: Not much is known about ProtoMan; he tends to show up to help MegaMan out of a bind, then disappear back to wherever he hides. However, he seems to be the observant type.
*Preferred weapon: ProtoBuster; an energy cannon built into his arm with various features that he can swap out his hand for. Its base power is greater than MegaMan's MegaBuster.
*Other fighting info: Has a shield that is capable of completely blocking many attacks. However, among other things, he cannot hold the shield out and fire at the same time. Also, there is a flaw in his energy system that causes him to take twice the amount of damage that he should if he does get hit.
*Misc. info: As his name implies, ProtoMan is a prototype combat Robot. He is the very first of his kind.
*Tidbit: ProtoMan thinks in programming-like terms. However, unless his thoughts are being directly read or projected somehow, they're usually translated into plain English for the readers' sake.

Oddly, he not only seems to have no loyalty to Wily – the one who designed and built him – and actually resents him instead. Does not appear to have any plans on domination or anything. I suspect this would happen if he ever actually beat MegaMan.

*Other fighting info: Varies. He seems to try new powers and abilities to see what will help him defeat MegaMan. One of his more-favorite tricks is to merge with Treble, combining their abilities and even giving Bass the power of flight.
*Misc. info: Built when Wily discovered an energy that he considered better and more powerful than what he had used before (though he's found an even better energy since then and used it for another project). Bass appears to be designed to mirror, match, and even outmatch MegaMan's abilities.

MegaMan Zero

The MMZero universe is the same as the Classic and X universes, except approximately 100 years later than the X series (and quite possibly with a split timeline). A city called Neo Arcadia has been built and is meant to be a sanctuary for Humanity. It is protected by Reploids known as the Four Guardians. People still very much remember what happened during the Maverick Wars (or at least the Four Guardians do) and strong efforts are made to make sure that the threat of Mavericks doesn't rise up again. Too strong. Falsely accused Reploids have made a Resistance simply to survive, and are fighting for equality.
