[glow=red,2,300] General Ventratta. [/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Picture (c) Spot, whom 'tratta lived with for a little while. A squeaky pink enigma, not even Rider knows what Ventratta's life was like before he tumbled into her lap. All she knows is that it was quite exciting. Ventratta talks to Rider in stares, blinks and paw motions, and she can almost always understand what he's saying the first time. Ventratta's feelings regarding Rider are mixed. He's as loyal as the day is long, but he knows she can be a bit of an idiot. On the one hand, he longs for more adventure than Rider can give him, but on the other, he knows he's getting older, and Rider can provide him with the stability he needs, as well as the bursts of adventure that he longs for. Ventratta looks stupid compared to the rabid blue Meepits that Hunty carts around, but he really is quite intelligent. He definitely knows English, and might even understand some other Latin-based human languages. He's an expert cook, a reliable mechanic, a decent barber, a charismatic pastor, and of course, a genius general. It would not surprise Rider if he had many other talents hidden up his nonexistant sleeves. Ventratta truly is a Renaissance Meepit. Contrary to popular belief, 'tratta is not a woman. ^_^ Other named soldiers in the Meepit Army: Elvie - Eri's Meepit, and Ventratta's faithful wife. Technically not a soldier, but she follows the army around because if she doesn't take care of 'tratta, he'll start staring at Nalia. Even though Ventratta is an expert cook, somehow Elvie tends to get stuck making his meals. Nalia - An ownerless, pale blue Meepit. A femme fatale, the strongest female in the Meepit army. Her heavy makeup and peculiar taste in clothing make the boys stare. She likes the attention that the boys (especially Ventratta) give her. However, her loyalty to the army is absolute, and she loves battle more than any man. Offsephious - Potato's Meepit. A poet and a dreamer, Sephi isn't suited for battle at all. His reasons for joining the army are beyond me. Maybe he just likes to travel. Or maybe he has some other motivation? Sephi isn't often caught without his little accoustic guitar. He'd be the ultimate boyfriend, but somehow manages to stay single. Meepitzilla - Created in a lab accident involving HTML and her Neopets, Meepitzilla is a Meepit of gargantuan proportions. Rider will not call him into battle unless it is a dire emergency. 'zilla isn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, but he certainly is the strongest. Other Meepits tend to act a bit awkwardly around Meepitzilla, making him a bit self-conscious. Sephi (as the other outcast of the Meepit world) tries to be particularly kind to 'zilla. The Magus Sisters - Three faerie Meepits who are thankfully better at spellcasting than Rider is. They are named after the FFX aeons, Sandy, Cindy and Mindy. (Not to be confused with Mindela.) Incredibly intelligent. Sandy is the oldest and clearly in charge. She's tallest, and has a butterfly birthmark on her left cheek. Cindy is the middle child, a bit chubby, with a beetle marking on her left paw. Mindy is the youngest and the smallest, with a flower marking on her right shoulder. Mittens - Made his first appearance in GW2 and was named by Sev because his paws are darker than the rest of his body. He's a playful, childish Meepit who loves snow. He's only in the army because he's Ventratta's nephew and his mother wanted him to valiantly defend all Meepitdom instead of making a living as a video game tester. Mittens borrows a lot of his moves from fighting games (as opposed to the Magus Sisters, who have a more RPG flavor). His Final Smash is a hadouken. He is the youngest of the named Meepits. He is best friends with the Magus Sisters. Ventratta is like Ash's Pikachu, in that he doesn't need to be summoned. He can usually be found in Rider's pocket or bag. Other Meepits, when summoned, emerge from blooming portals of darkness, like Heartless or Nobodies. It is unclear where they spend their time when they're not summoned. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]My Demon Horses: Picture of Shiva, Rider and Ventratta. <3 you, HuntyShiva - A sharp and sarcastic demon-stallion. Shiva was originally created as a plot-convenience tool in the original "Children of Darkness," but he quickly developed a distinct personality in his own right. He ironically was not featured in CoD2, though a docile dream-version of him was stuck in, again, for plot convenience. Shiva is haughty and proud. In the Daemon Worlds, his sire was the personal mount of King Hzann and his dam was a prize-winning racehorse. Shiva's pride had a tendency to get him whipped and starved in the cruel militaristic Daemon regime. One can never truly tame a horse, however. On the flip side of the coin, Shiva is naive. His pride and naivete can be a dangerous combination. He knows very little about the human worlds and Neopia. Human customs perplex him, and the notion of respect is entirely outside the bounds of his understanding. Shiva's coat is deep black and heavily scarred by battle and whips. His tail is woven in a long rope, and has two small (but sharp) blades tied on the end. He has a silver stocking mark on his left hind leg. On his forehead, he bears a silver crescent moon marking. When Rider first met him, he was thin to the point of starvation, but he is quickly regaining his healthy weight. He is about 15 hands high and built along the same lines as an Arabian. Shiva's favorite food is cat, though he will eat weasels, stoats, ferrets and small dogs and foxes. Cat-people and shapeshifters would make large and tasty treats. Rider can usually appease Shiva with wild rather than home-grown food. Usually. Being a demon (though not exactly evil. Think Chaotic Neutral alignment, plus an overwhelming desire to eat your friends with a side of hash browns,) Shiva clashed with Sev a lot. The two are rivals, and Shiva loves nothing more than to annoy the cranky Sev with his graphic descriptions of slaughter in the streets. Probably the most unlikely character that I've ever created. And I didn't even mean to create him; it was a bit of an accident. XD In Guild Wars 1, Shiva fell in love with King Wolf's sable mare, Sora. Their date, of course, was crashed by the forces of evil. Very inconvenient. -_-; In Guild Wars 2, Sora gets pregnant with Shiva's foals and Shiva did a moral 180 to protect his family from the Gem Army. The foals are triplets. They're the only known hybrids of thier kind. They're omnivorous. Rajani - Appearance: A lighter shade of black (Think black hairs with a dusting of grey ones) with a white sock on her right foreleg and a white snip on her nose. She keeps her blond mane and tail long. Wears a black ribbon braided into her tail. Personality: She's rebellious and very curious about the world around her. She values her freedom and loves to go to new places. Powers: probably super-speed and magic resistance like her father. She's looking to learn fire magic from Sev, who would rather shoot his own foot than teach her. Diet: Anything. Nanami - Appearance: Heck if I've thought this over. I guess she's the same color as her sister, but with a black mane and tail and a broad white blaze down her face. She usually wears a red butterfly clip in her mane. Personality: Often quiet and reserved. Hates conflict. Likes to learn about magic. Powers: I imagine she's dabbled in quite a few things but doesn't excel in anything. She seems to have taken a liking to reading auras. Diet: Mostly plants Kirin - ((I'm giving Wolf a chance to help develop the younger two. This probably means they'll be undeveloped for a while.))[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]This might as well go up. I was babbling like an idiot.[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]I see the NTWF as a region of Neopia. Rider is fairly well-to-do, and has a couple of homes. Her primary home is the Cap'n's Quarters of the White Weewoo. It's a large room that smells mostly of seawater, parchment and whatever food Rider has hidden in the top two dresser drawers. There are old maps and books of legends scattered in a rather careless manner, and a layer of dust thick enough to swim in. The furniture is a hodgepodge of stuff "liberated" from other vessels, and she has a full-size mattress on a queen-size frame (at least until she can "liberate" a queen-size mattress that isn't, y'know, haunted or anything.) Her winter home is located in the suburbs of Tabloid Town (a small, rather chaotic city west of Neopia Central). It's a charming (but messy) white two-story, four-bedroom, two-bathroom with a backyard and a tire swing, a very wholesome place to raise the children that somehow always manage to attach themselves to her and call her "Mummy". Here, the furniture mostly matches, the dust is relatively minimal and there are lace curtains. Well, during the week, that is. On the weekends, Hu tends to get bored. Rider owns a stable next door, and can rent it out to three horses at a time. Shiva lives there too. Horses who rent tend not to stay long there. Rider tries continually to tell herself that these two facts are not related in any way. On the bright side, the cat population has plummeted. Rider has also been known to spend some nights in the Tabloid Town Community Center (when Hu's off ninja-ing, Sammy's off pirating, Dan's off secretary-ing, the rest of the kids/husbands/wives are gone, and Rider needs the sound of chatter and crashing vases to fall asleep to.) Rider has a room in Mod Squad (a large building at the outskirts of Neopia Central that at one time looked official, before the graffitti became too thick to magic off), but she hardly ever uses it. Unless Killix, Crystal, Hunty or Tracy is there, it's too quiet. Wow, I wrote more than I intended to write. 0_o A lot more...[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Other Pets: Comic of Fluffy.Fluffy - Not really a pet, but worth mention. Baby Fluffy made his premiere in "Where Forumers Dare Not Tread." He's a poisonous anti-magic fire-breathing lizard baby. ISN'T HE ADORABLE? Pengy - Rider's undead penguin boyfriend. Smells more than she does. Only has one eye. Was the penguin bet in the "Rider vs. Stal Adminship Scandal" a while back. (When Rider bet 12 shinies and a penguin that Stal would be admin, and Stal bet the same on Rider.) Now has a real-world counterpart, with squishy hair. Sylv and Ulthar ChibisUlthar – Not strictly Rider’s pet. He belongs to Sylvia Lignum, the D&D Dragontail elf. However, this cranky, PMSing ball of fluff deserves mention because he does show up on the ‘bloids from time to time. Known formally as “Ulthar the Scarred,” he’s the world’s only samurai wolf, and prefers death to defeat. The way Sylvia sees it, if you’re dead, you lose, if you live, you win. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]My Guild Personas[/glow] Name: Rider Sol Formerly Known As: Red, Solaris, Waverider, you want the short list or the long one? Age: Really hard to tell, since she's not from the plane and time moves differently on different planes. She appears to be in her early 20's. Appearance: Human. 5'4" or so, thin and agile. Black hair that reaches a bit past her shoulders, normally worn down. Brown eyes. Outfit: White shirt, comfortable pants, whatever boots look the least beat-up and the trademark red cape. History: She's an orphan who originally came from Earth, but thanks to a certain plane-hopping Meepit, she traveled to Neopia and the NTWF. She lived with the half-demon Schzain as a street urchin for a long time. However, she was always enchanted with the idea of life beyond Tabloid Town and stowed aboard a pirate ship. What happens after that depends on how much of my captainship was actually canon. >.> *still needs to figure that out* Personality: She might look like your average happy-go-lucky drunkard, but by nightfall, she's your... slightly below average happy-go-lucky drunkard! The White Weewoo is the first real home she has ever known, so she will go to any lengths to protect it. She thinks like a criminal, fights like a tiger and flirts like your ex. Trust is very important to her, both the how-to-keep-it and how-to-break-it aspects. Weapons: A trusty cutlass. Probably at least three hidden throwing-daggers. A bunch of rodents and on occasion, a demon-horse. Just because you can't do magic doesn't mean you're helpless. The Meepit Army: Exists to maintain balance and order between the worlds, primarily those bordering their own world. Unlike the rabid Meepits, these Meepits do not speak English, and communicate in squeaks and pantomime. Rider is the only one who can understand them flawlessly. The Army consists of: Ventratta, the sensible general. A jack-of-all-trades who was given the power to travel between worlds and choose a Champion. He chose Rider when she was very young. The two of them share an unbreakable bond. Nalia, the femme fatale. A light blue Meepitess, the fiercest fighter of the lot. Likes makeup and shiny weapons. Favored weapon is a whip. Offsephious, the poet. No one knows why he joined the Army, as he isn't much of a fighter. Rumor has it he has a thing for a certain blue Meepitess. Favored weapon is a spiky goth-guitar. Mittens, the youth. Ventratta's nephew, obsessed with fighting-style video games. The Magus Sisters. Sandy, Cindy and Mindy, three faerie-Meepits who cast Final-Fantasy-style magic. Shiva: A snarky demon-horse from one of the nine Demon Worlds. A jet-black stallion with razor-sharp teeth and scars criss-crossing his back. Has a silver crescent moon on his forehead. Ties three razor blades to his tail for extra damage in battle. Can run extraordinarily fast and has hooves that are as hard as diamond. Name: Adeline Spencer
Age: 12
Appearance: Human, petite, with pale ivory skin and long blonde hair.
Outfit: She likes Gothic Lolita outfits, you know the deal. Petticoats, lace, ribbons, stockings. Wholly impractical for her line of work, but try telling her that. Yet no matter how many dresses she ruins, she never seems to run out...
History: The only child of a famous airship engineer, Cid Spencer. At the age of 3, she started showing an affinity for machines and water-magic. At the age of 7, she built her own working airship model. By the age of 12, she had designed and built the full-scale deal. It's called the Luna Moth, and it's her own vessel. One day, her father left on a routine delivery flight and while Adeline was watching him leave, he disappeared from the sky. Brassport had been teleported to the NTWF, and now Adeline will do anything to get home and see her father again.
Personality: Fairly demure. She tends to not let her emotions show, which in conjunction with her outfit, makes her seem like one of those spooky children you see in the movies. She has a very warm heart, but it is hard to earn her trust. She seems much older than her years and has this disconcerting stare that unsettles most adults. Still is a little spoiled and naive. She knows little about how the real world works.
Weapons: She has a hollow dagger-handle that contains a fair amount of water. Using magic, she can turn this water into a dagger with a sharp, icy edge. She is not one for combat, however.
Abilities: "Untrained Alchemy." Just say it, she's a witch. XD Can channel water, but needs a source of water nearby (can't pull it out of the air like Katara or anything). Can freeze water at will. (Useful for a steam engineer.) It's possible that she uses her powers to keep herself clean while working, though she has neither confirmed nor denied.
The Luna Moth: Is a zeppelin top strapped to a sailboat bottom with a bunch of bronze pipes coming out the tail that spit out steam when we want to go slow and fire when we need to put the pedal to the metal. The zeppelin portion is white (note a pattern with Rider and white ships) and has the words "Luna Moth" written in black paint. Needs a crew of at least 3 in order to sail, though 5 is optimal.
