1. Assignments
Every day, unless previously announced, one to two assignments will be given to the team to decipher, solve and answer. Game’s awards will be announced at the start of the assignments to clear confusion. Awards will range from an amount of points to be given to the team’s pot, a possible exemption, among other secret things. Every assignment will have their own rules, time limits, and specifications which must be read and followed. Failure to read the rules may possibly result in a lost for the team, in which case points will be awarded to the Mole.
2. Quizzes
Upon the successful or unsuccessful completion of assignments, a quiz will be given. If there are multiple assignments in one night, the quiz will always be presented upon the completion of the final assignment of the day. Quizzes must be answered. Failure to submit a quiz will possibly result in a removal from the game. The player to score the worse in the quizzes will be asked to leave the game, and it will be noted and announced who has lost. Exemptions, if won during an assignment, will result in the winning player not having to take a quiz.
3. Exemptions
Exemptions may or may not be awarded during assignments. Exemptions are not worth points, and may only be used during the follow quiz. They may not be saved, or traded. They are immediately removed from the player after the next scheduled quiz is completed.
4. The Pot
Money will be awarded to either the team’s collective earnings after assignments, upon the successful completion of the assignment. Assignments may or may not have to be completely won to earn points, and cases such as this will be announced at the start of all assignments. Points NOT earned by the team will be awarded to the Mole.
5. The Mole
The Mole is the target of interest throughout the game. The Mole is a member of your team, and playing through the assignments. The Mole is not working for the team, but for their own interests. Your job is to locate the Mole. Whether or not you know who the Mole is, you are not allowed to announce your suspicions publicly in any NTWF board. Active players who announce their suspicions, whether in jest or seriousness, will be removed from the game, as if they failed a quiz. Private messages, Instant massager programs, private chat rooms and Bat Signals are allowed. *Speculating players may discuss their suspicions freely
6. Ties (Quizzes)
If a tie in the quizzing does occur, players will be reviewed, and whomever sent in their quiz the latest will be removed.
7. Players
All active and non-active players are listed in the Player Info thread. As players are removed from the game, their names will redden. The player(s) with exemption will be indicated with an * next to their name.
8. Hints
Hints for who is the Mole will be given throughout the game. Expect between two to four major or minor clues.
9. The Rules
All decisions are final unless circumstances are complicated. Rules may be changed at any time without prior notice. Rules may be added at any time if needed and without prior notice.
