At least puzzles one and two were pretty easy for me.

Dude, first of all, I'm totally geeking out on all the spot blacks in the comic... I'm totally going to be really scrutinizing this comic, since their blacks are so excellent, and I really need to work on my black placement for my Materials and Techniques class. And this also means I need to step up my game if I want to work at Neo... their art has jumped a head and tail above what I can currently do...

This plot feels a lot more... mature than other stories. You know, previous stories had cursed princes and zombies and gypsies and sorceresses. This one has characters with slightly more realistic occupations and backstories. Professors, Adventurers, Sea Captains (who aren't pirates), and even a stowaway with a criminal past? It's really quite an interesting turn. I just really hope there isn't a curse in this one, since the last four plots had cursed characters.

Me too! But a dark, mysterious island that nobody's heard of before except for an ancient journal written in an ancient language isn't a good sign in my opinion... =/

Oh well, perhaps not! Maybe there won't be any otherworldly things like living skeletons and ghosts and such to speak of!
