Squee, a Contest!

When it comes to computer games, a logo is one of the very first things the player notices. They're simple, but often eye-catching. So far, however, I haven't been able to think of a decent logo for the game. This is where you come in. ^_~

I've decided to organize a logo-making contest. If you feel that your graphic design skills are up to the task, try your hand at creating your own logo for the NTWF game. ^_^


Submission Rules:

- When creating your logo, try to make it fairly simple, but attractive. Afterall, this is a 2D computer game we're talking about. ^_~
- Remember, the 'official' name of the game is 'Jade Phoenix'.
- If your logo doesn't quite match the style of the game, or if it's too big, don't worry about it - I can always make modifications if I add it.
- Do NOT make any references to Neopets in your logo. Because Neopets owns copyrights on all of its characters and images, doing so would force me to add a disclaimer wherever the logo appears.
- You may only only submit one logo. Once it is submitted, don't make changes to it unless absolutely necessary (to avoid later confusion with the judging).
- Make sure that you actually put effort into your logo. I can tell if something was made in 2 minutes, so please don't enter just to win an adoptable. xP


Submissions So Far

At least three people must enter the contest for prizes to be awarded. The more people who enter the contest, the more adoptables will be available to win, and they'll keep getting bigger and bigger!

Prizes

1st place
Your logo will be used in the game, and your name will appear in the game's credits accordingly. Keep in mind that I may want to work with you to make changes and tweaks to it. You also have your choice from ANY of the adoptables listed below.

2nd place
This person has a very impressive logo, but for one reason or another does not fit into the game as well as the 1st place logo. After the winner has chosen their adoptable, you have your choice from ANY of the adoptables listed below.

Runners up
After 1st place and 2nd place have chosen their prizes, other people who submit logos will be able to pick from one of the available adoptables. You can only pick one that hasn't been adopted yet. Selection goes on a first come, first serve basis.

Be sure to send in your submissions by May 31. Winners will be announced the day after when I get the chance to look over the entries.

I do believe you need to be a member to join this, since the prizes require that you have a profile here.

So why don't you join up, look around, play the game, and then join the contest? =3

Excellent submissions so far! ^_^ I'll put a list of submitted logos in the first post.

Since so many of you have expressed interest in the contest, i'll make another adoptable available. =) One more adoptable will be added each time another person submits a logo.

Dan?? Clearly there're no 'Dan's in the submissions, yet...

And btw, just join, it doesn't matter if you don't win, at least you get a runner-up for submitting in the first place.
