Anyone else here heard of MacBornes? It's a game based off a card game where you play as one of two drivers in a race. Whoever reaches the 1000 mile mark first wins, and there are several hazards, recoveries, and safeties you can use along the way to help you. It even has a two-player mode where you can invite someone to play with you over the net (it involves entering their IP address). I've wanted to try a net-battle, but it's hard to find a challenger, and bringing up a Mac-only game in a place that's mostly-to-all windows users seems kinda silly. Anyone want to play?

Shift + Apple +F3 doesn't work for me DDDDD: Maybe she meant Shift + Apple + 3? (without the 'F') That's the keystroke to take a screenshot of your whole screen. Shift + Apple + 4 lets you take a portion of your screen, either a click-and-drag selection or a window (even if it's behind another window); you switch between which one you want with the spacebar. Edit: You posted just before I did, Kirby.

Erm. Hope Shift+Apple+F3 isn't the command for giving away Earth's secrets to the Klingons or something.

I hope not, 'cause I tried it, like, five times, trying to get it to work. *changes the F3 in your title to just 3* On another note, I thought up a cool title for Omni. Omni is now the Mistress of the Cluttered Desktop. Couldn't think of anything spiffy for Fj0rd or OG Loc, though. >_>

OG Loc speaks for itself, homie.
You know, with the insane popularity of other Apple products (iPod, iPhone, etc.) I'm kind of surprised that the Mac itself isn't more popular...

Kirby: What exactly are Dockables? And yes, the no-virus thing is awesome! There are actually a few viruses made for Mac, but not very many, and from what I can tell Apple makes downloadable security updates for viruses that do show up. *watches Viruses ad just for the fun of it* I recently got a MegaMan game, and among the things to do often is fight viruses. I can't help but think he'd really enjoy Mac.

Kirby: What exactly are Dockables? Only the best thing since Mac OS X! www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/dockables.htmlDon't feel like shutting down your Mac from the behind? Don't feel like shutting down your MacBook by using the power button? Don't feel like clicking and holding the trash icon and selecting empty trash? NO FEAR. Dockables is here! Clicking the Shut Down shuts down your Mac... FROM YOUR DOCK.

Looks like one of those things I might play with for awhile, and then not really use afterward. *did that with Speakable Items * I might try it later.

*bump* Say, does anyone else here have an account that can be used with iChat (AIM, .Mac, or Jabber)? One of the things I've been wanting to try for awhile, that's hard to do on MSN, is an audio/video chat, and perhaps if we share iChat accounts, we could do that. The only account I have that I can use with iChat is a Jabber account, it has the exact same username as my MSN account.
