I've never had a shiny but I've seen one owned by a trainer in the battle tower in leafgreen.
A SHINY ESPEON! *swoon* <3 Omg green.
Most people here probably know that.

The only shiny I've ever caught is a Pidgey, in Red. But I was like 8, so I had no idea what it was. I was just like OOH I'TS GREEN. But then I restarted my game. WHOO But I thought shinies were only introduced in the metals generation...

Wooo! I finally finished Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team!
And for a trivia: I finished it with Killix as a Meowth (human-controlled) and Rider as a Torchic (partner)! ^_^
Another trivia: I used a lot of NTWFers' names for my Pokemon during the game, including naming a Geodude "Stal's Ego"

That's so weird, I swear I remember seeing a Pidgey that had a little star thing by its name... >__> I AM GOING CRAZY XD

So I pwned that game? =D Uhhh, no. The only reason I chose Meowth as the human-controlled Pokemon is for its move, Pay Day. Whenever a Pokemon faints due to the move, a handful of money comes out. Besides that, I had a hard time training a Meowth, especially late in the game where I had to fight Pokemon with advantages over Normal-type Pokemon. D:

D: Normal types do seem to have it tough, I chose Eevee as my starter and Chikorita for my partner. Was some pretty tough going for the most part (especially since one dungeon after another has things grass is weak against), but I managed to make it through Blue (why didn't I go with Totodile instead of Chikorita... @.o) Just restarted mine, I chose Cubone and Totodile, wonder how much easier this will be. XP

XP That's why I had to pump Meowth and Torchic to level 25 before they go fugitive. I never had to worry about their health since then, and concentrated on getting more money thru Meowth's Pay Day and watching on my Belly. ... No, the last one's not a joke.

I had an Eevee named Pepper (after my old hamster) and a Charmander named Umbre (for no reason xD). Does Meowth learn Sand-Attack and Helping Hand? Those two moves pwn bosses into the ground.

I mostly just kept checking back at the TMs shop every day when I could... I managed to give Eevee dig (so I could actually dent rock/steel types), and Chikorita giga drain which helped quite a bit (pwnful move, it's just too bad it has low PP ^_^; ).

I'm pretty sure it can learn Sand-Attack, but I don't think it can learn Helping Hand. I haven't been able to get a TM like that, so I can't tell. It can, astoundingly, learn Thunderbolt however. EDIT: I just made a mistake of evolving Meowth moments after finishing the game! Being a Persian loses the Pick Up ability, so... >.<

Heh, maybe having both of them weak to grass early on wasn't the best of plans, but between both of them being able to learn ice beam, and Cubone somehow can learn flamethrower, it isn't so bad. Lightningrod is definitely helpful too.
Cubone is indeed <3

I used Cubone as my human character. :3 And a Pikachu is usually my partner for balance.
