Heads-up, if anyone wants to play BD/SP unspoiled, just be warned that they are starting to leak. So be careful where you go on the internet til you have the games yourself. I haven't looked too deep into it yet, but from what I have seen, they are certainly Diamond and Pearl remakes. To a fault. Which was pretty much what I was afraid of.
(At least the Creation Trio apparently get new forms, which is neat)

For those that have either Sword/Shield or Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, the following Mythical Pokemon and items will be given to you in game (once you reach a certain point in the story) in both BD/SP and Legends, in addition to the bonus items mentioned earlier via Mystery Gift. For BD/SP, Jirachi will join your team if you have Sword/Shield, while you get Mew for having Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. Legends gives you Shaymin (Land Forme) and a Shaymin kimono set for having Sword/Shield and a couple of masks based on Pikachu and Eevee Source

My thoughts on the game so far, despite certain knowledge. I'm playing Brilliant Diamond, just for the nostalgia. Seeing as the game as based on Diamond/Pearl, none of the changes from Platinum make it into the game so essentially, it's a carbon copy of the originals, except enhanced for the Switch and some minor changes and additions.
There's also the missed opportunity for adding Pokemon that were introduced later, like Sylveon for the Eevee line or even previous regional variants (like Galarian Ponyta/Rapidash) if only to increase the diversity of the regional Dex. Nope, as the game is, once again, a carbon copy of the original, you're stuck with a poor diversity. Sure, you have the Grand Underground, but even then, you're given a handful and the Mons that were added are not included in the Dex.
Overall, disappointed with the game.

There's no Sylveon? Boo. D: That is what I was hoping for.
Darn.
Well, I have a bunch of Eevees with great IVs if anyone wants one?

Speaking of Eevee, this is SUPER last-minute, but if anyone playing Sword/Shield wants a Shiny Eevee between now and 6:30 PM EST, let me know because I've got a Shiny Eevee Max Raid in my game from the Wild Area Event that ends in a few hours. Two weeks this event has been going on and this is the first time I managed to host a Shiny Eevee. I did get two from other peoples' Raids though, which is really all that matters for me. (Since the only Shiny Eeveelutions I really care about are Umbreon and Sylveon. If I HAD to pick another, I guess I'd pick Flareon; the gold coloring is kind of nice)

OH nice Did you catch the shiny Eevee? So ahhh I have a ton of Eevees. And also some starters and 5IV Croagunks and... I really like hatching eggs. XD I find it relaxing. So um, please take some stuff from me, I have too much haha

Yup! In total, I wound up with three Shiny Eevee from the event, which is just enough to get the three Shiny Eeveelutions I want. (Which does mean I don't have any to spare for others; sorry. ) I certainly feel bad for anyone that tried to get eight Shiny Eevee as to have one for each Eeveelution; I believe the five-star (non-GMax) Eevee raids were guaranteed to be Shiny, but they were rare and it was really hard to get into someone elses because people would join them so quickly.
I actually like IV-breeding + Masuda Method Shiny Hunting in my spare time and have a bunch of surplus from past projects too. xD I can look at what I have sometime tonight and get back to you later about that. Off the top of my head, I'm pretty certain I have a box of Cutiefly I haven't Surprise Traded off, plus some spares from past Max Raid events. (I know I have a bunch of GMax Alcremie, a few Shiny Magikarp, and a Shiny Chandelure, at least)
...though I do say this while under the assumption you're playing Sword/Shield. If you're playing BD/SP, then I'm afraid I'm not very far into the game yet and thus have nothing to offer. :'D

This is for BD/SP. And I wouldn't really want/need anything in return. I'd just be happy to see them being enjoyed, especially if one of them ends up on your team. The high IV Eevees make for some fun Eeveelution action for the main game. And I'm already debating on what I can get that's anti-Garchomp for Cynthia *shudders* I did enjoyed Sword/Shield, though! =) The raid battles were really fun to do with friends

Man, I wasn't planning on doing a rotating team, but I might have to now. xD
Which version are you playing? If you're playing Shining Pearl, I can at least try to pick up some version exclusives for you? Defensively, I'd say that you could try a Levitate Bronzong. (Immune to both Earthquake and Poison Jab, and resists Dragon Claw) Problem though is that I don't believe Bronzong has much to threaten Garchomp in return... EDIT: Oh, oh I think I just figured out a rather mean strategy for Garchomp. (Though one I can't test out myself at the moment since I'm only two badges in) Quick question, do you have either Let's Go games? If so, get the free Mew from Floaroma Town if you haven't already. You'll have to level it up all the way to Lv. 70, but once I tell you the moveset, the strategy should speak for itself: Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Poison Jab, and... Imprison.
The first three moves are available by TM, and Mew -of course- can learn any TM move. And it gets Imprison at Lv. 70. So in theory, assuming Mew weathers at least one hit from Garchomp, you could use Imprison, force the poor Garchomp to sit there unable to do anything but Swords Dance, while Mew finishes it off with Dragon Claw.

Sadly no on the Let's go games I'm playing Pearl! Well, I have a Timid and I think I have a Modest now? Hmmm okie. I have some Pokemon with ice moves to deal with dragon types and was thinking of running fairy moves on my Espeon... Are faerie types around in this game?

Okay, at the moment with where I am in the game I can offer Murkrow, Stunky, Elekid, Gligar, Scyther, or Cranidos. Any of those you need? (Though with all of those except for Cranidos, I am going to have to go out and catch one, which may or may not take a little bit of time)
Glaceon's Speed isn't that great, so I'd say Modest is the way to go. Also, it wouldn't be too much trouble to evolve it first before trading, would it? (The reason why I've never used Glaceon before is because it always seems to become available way too late in the game to bother... xD)
Also, what day + time would be good to trade? Usually 8:00 PM EST onward is best for me, but I can do earlier if need be.
Any of the Gen I - IV Pokemon that were retyped to Fairy are Fairies in BD/SP, yes. So pre-National Dex, your options are Clefable, Mr. Mime, Gardevoir, and Togekiss. (Ralts and Togepi can be found in the Grand Underground) Since Togekiss is immune to both of Garchomp's STABs, I guess you could try giving it a Kebia Berry and crossing your fingers that it survives the Poison Jab and OHKOs it?

I am going away for a few days, but maybe Wednesday/Thursday this week? I can try to evolve but ahh I don't have Snowpoint yet xD So it may be after then when I can send you the Glaceon... Oh! I need Scyther and Gligar as well as Stunky.

I apologize - I assumed you were much further in when you mentioned needing something for Cynthia's Garchomp. Exactly how far have you gotten in the game?
I've caught the Scyther and Stunky, but Gligar is being a bit stubborn and will probably have to wait til I get to Veilstone City and can buy Great/Ultra Balls.

I'm up to badge 5, so not *too* far in yet. But I'm prepping for Cynthia because I have been warned that she's especially Yikes in this version of the game

But I'm prepping for Cynthia because I have been warned that she's especially Yikes in this version of the game Hmm, that is still a ways away til you'll be able to reach Route 216. If you don't see yourself reaching that point anytime soon, then I can just take the Eevee and evolve it myself when I get there. (I've made much later game additions to my team in the past, so it's not that big of a deal) I'm a bit tired today; would tomorrow night be okay? (Also, if you happen to have your own Metal Coat, I can help you evolve the Scyther I caught for you if you want as well)
Yeah, I've also been made to understand that the E4 in BD/SP has some downright mean strategies. But unless you're doing a challenge run like a Nuzlocke, just remember that you the player have a lot of advantages that opposing trainers don't. A copious amount of healing items, of course, but the affection mechanic in these games are generous to the point of being kind of insulting, so that works in your favor as well.* *Namely that "affection" and "happiness" have been merged in these games and are very easy to increase. Basically, just by raising your Pokemon normally, they'll eventually have the effects of Shed Skin, Focus Band, Bright Powder, and Scope Lens all at once and apparently activate frequently.
