Does anyone know about the 'PokeGods'? I just learnt that they were supposed to be in the next generation and Nintendo hid them in Generation I games? Or are they just fan made pokemon? =/
Care to explain, please?

"PokeGods" were fake made-up stuff based on rumours that 10 year olds told eachother on the playground at school. XD I'm surprised people still remember the rumours...
It was around the same time that there were tons of shoddy cheat sites and other such places online that had millions of fake "mew" cheats and how to get things that didn't exist, like "Pikablue" and "Togepi in Red/Blue/Yellow"
XD

Haha...that reminds me of the whole 'truck on the island next to SS Anne' deal. The rumor was, if you moved it with Strength you could catch Mew (or something like that, don't really remember). xD Good times...

*just found this thread* oh my god, I remember that truck near the SS Anne thing. I remember spending hours on trying to get it, too. I have never owned a legit Mew. I fail at pokemans.

I remember there was this one cheat in Red/Blue that involved having this guy see you but then pressing start and flying away before he could battle you and then searching the grass there and FINDING A MEW.
And its crazy cause that one actually worked. xDDD That's how I got my Mew~ x3333

I remember this kid in third grade saying "OMG U GAIZ I'M THE GYM LEADER OF VIRIDIAN, IF YOU STAND WHERE GIOVANNI WAS YOU BECOME THE GYM LEADER"
He later admitted he was lying, but no one believed him.

Just makes you wonder how many other glitches are out there waiting to be discovered and abused. xD

Since it looks kinda like Pikachu and is a Pokemon, the rumors actually make sense. On this subject, other than Marill, four Johto Pokemon were seen prior to the release of Gold & Silver. Does anybody know which four?

The Mew trick is awesome, since it allows you to catch glitch Pokemon like .4 and a. but yeah, it wasn't discovered until many years later. Pikablue rumors were actually based on Marill concept art that accidentally got leaked before Gold & Silver were even announced. Since it looks kinda like Pikachu and is a Pokemon, the rumors actually make sense. Of course I know that "Pikablue" was just an assumption of Marill. but people were stupid and swore on their mother's graves that you could catch one in R/B/Y by *insert painfully fake method here* The Togepi thing was stupid, too. "lawlz talk to *insert random NPC or Gym leader* 100 times and he/she'll giv u Togepi"

I figured you probably did; I wasn't talking to you, I was expounding on what you said.

I just saw Latias a few days ago when playing Sapphire(roadtrips during holidays to see relatives in other states always resparks my interest in handheld games, especially the Poke'mon series), and, not really knowing its rarity or anything, I panicked and used my Master Ball without even using an attack. I already had Kyogre, and Latias was the only other Legendary in the game I could remember at the time, and other than the Regi trio, I'm still drawing a blank. Rayquaza.
My Diamong Pokédex is so depressingly empty, as far as “total caught” goes. First, though, I want to capture every Kanto Pokémon in LeafGreen.
So far, I've got about 110 captured, 149 seen (stupid Omastar Dx), a Horsea, Igglybuff and Nidoran(M) waiting to be raised to their last evolutions.

Rayquaza's Emerald only, I thought. Nope. Sky Tower on the hidden island behind the sea rock maze, just East of that one isle town where the old guy who talks about Mirage Island is.

Seeing as how PFA never got back to me about our trade... I'm going to assume she never got her wifi sorted out.
So... I'm still looking to trade for rares if anyone has Diamond/Pearl and wifi.
I can offer: Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Eevee, Dratini, Ekans, Caterpie, Growlithe.
