Mmyes. That's the movie it plays at the beginning of KH2. It's awesome though. <3 Yesh, it is. ^^ www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySk1UCUV4bo&feature=relatedI don't understand this video. Why are the scenes shifting from one to another? Why are those sinking but then breathing underwater scenes so redundant? And why did a stained-glass picture of Snow White - of all Disney films - appear below Sora? 0_o Oh, and for the randomization of it . . . Hangin. XD

Oh yes, and I think there are stained glass pictures of the other princesses soon after that one. >_> *will say nothing else as it might be a bit spoiler*

Okay. Somehow, the KH - Birth by Sleep info doesn't make sense. People say that this happened before Sora, Riku and Kairi ever even existed . . . but in the Wikipedia article, it says that it happened ten years before KH1 so that would make Sora, Riku and kairi four years old. Which doesn't make sense, because this "happened before our heroes were born" so . . . >_>
Also, I'm not very sure about Ven, Aqua and Terra being Sora, Riku and Kairi's ancestors/relatives. First reason, *posts query above*. Second reason - Ven and Aqua were <3-ers. If they were, that would kinda make Sora and Kairi cousins - which doesn't make sense because the two young'uns are ALSO <3-ers, so . . . *shrugs*
And doesn't Terra look a bit like Axel? >_> *mutant yooyu'd*

Well, as far as I know, the ten-years thing isn't confirmed. In fact, now that I think about it, it probably is longer ago than that. Ten years before the events in KHII was the destruction of Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden, banishment of Ansem the Wise, and formation of Organization XIII. The events in the Birth by Sleep trailer are most likely before that. It's confirmed by the fact that: -The bald man is named Xehanort, though his relation to "our" Xehanort is unknown -The Chasers (if that's what they're called) were, somehow, related to "our" Xehanort's past (I think) -I believe that Braig (Xigbar's Other) encountered the first three Keybearers before the destruction of Radiant Garden. Not entirely sure about this though.
In fact, the only point out of those that's confirmed is the fact that the bald guy is named Xehanort. XD
Good point about the ancestor thing. I have a feeling, however, that Aqua and Ven died young - not sure about that though - which also denies that theory... Anyway, my idea is that Sora, Kairi, and Riku are the successors of Terra, Aqua, and Ven, just not in a bloodline way... more like "in spirit" if you get what I mean. ^^

No, I don't think I understand your 'in spirit' theory. >_> *keyblade'd* >_<
Did you know that 'Roxas' is a real name here in the Philippines? The name is frequently used as a surname and I think has Spanish origin, since the Philippines was colonized by the Spaniards many, many years ago. 'Roxas' is the last name of former Philippine president Manuel Roxas and it is also a common surname here. I'm not sure if it's used as a first name, however. Go here so as to not get confused. *is a Roxas fangirl AND is proud to be Filipino* XD But, back here, Roxas is pronounced 'Roh-has', not 'Rock-sas', so expect me to sound Filipino almost all the time. XD *mutant yooyu'd* Ow. *keyblade'd* T_T

[glow=red,2,300]There are two Ansems,a re there not? What's in a name, anyway?
I don;t believe the Chasers are blood-related to Org. XIII, but I do believe there is a connection. They were friends with the young Xehanort in the past, perhaps, before he descended ninto darkness.
Xigbar mentioned that he knew the other Keyblade weilders before you fight him in the last part of the game. We assume he meant the Chasers.
The "in spirit" thing is hard to explain. Even though these people never knew each other, they are both Keyblade weilders with strong hearts and there is a connection that crosses space and time. In a similar manner, Sora, Roxas, Kairi, and Namine were connected in spirit even though Kairi couldn't remember Sora, Sora was asleep, Roxas couldn't remember Namine and had met neither Sora nor Kairi, and Namine knew Kairi only through Sora's memories.
Granted, it's not the same situation. Kairi and Namine were made from the same heart, as were Roxas and Sora. But it's the best example I've got. XD
but that bit about Roxas is interesting.[/glow]

We could've had a nice, friendly reunion if Ven-chan over here was frozen by Xehanort. . . . Come to think of it, does that mean that the Xehanort of BbS is related to Vexen? I mean, they both have ice powers . . . *realizes that I have ice powers too* T_T - *see first answer* - 0_o - Yep, I know. Somehow, however, No. XIII is the only thing/person with the name 'Roxas' which is NOT even Filipino. If you look at this Wiki page, you'll see that most of the references equal to actual Philippine places and people. It's still cool though. ^^ *wonders if there was a Filipino in the KH team* This is actually a rant, but since it's KH-related, I thought of posting it here.
What is up with the KH yaoi??? Everytime I search for Kingdom Hearts in deviantART, there is a yaoi piece in almost each page! And there are very, very weird and 'it's-not-gonna-work-out' pairings. (Have you seen these XigDem ones? *shudders*)
And the most common ones are the darn 'AkuRoku' pairings and the 'Riku/Sora' pairings. Bleah. What's worse is that most of the drawings are perverted, non-kiddie-friendly and involve, um, mating rituals. Yeesh. >_< I'm a Roxas fangirl, I'm not afraid to admit that, but my sister (who is an Axel fangirl) and I just get disgusted when we see pictures like those. We need tons of brain bleach because of those drawings. >_>
Can someone please clear this up for me??? Please? I'm disgusted by it, and I just want to hear your comments about this. Thank you.
End of KH rant.

[glow=red,2,300]Roxas is just an anagram of Sora with an X thrown in. It's the most phonetically pleasing way of doing that, in my humble opinion. There may have been a Philipino involved, though.
I don't know about related. Xehanort and Vexen look nothing alike. they're both scientists and they have ice powers, but that's all they have in common.[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Org. XIII Yaoi is rampant, yes. I can understand a bit of AkuRoku shonen-ai. And I know there is something fishy about 12 guys, 1 girl. But it's a bit ridiculous, some of these pairings. But hey. What can you do about it? Yaoi fangirls will be yaoi fangirls, and trust me, Nature, if you search hard enough, you can find yaoi of anything.
In any case, hard-core yaoi shouldn't be on DA. If you see any mating, it ought to be reported. Cuddling and stuff is considered shounen-ai, which is okay. (Not to mention, in the case of Axel and Roxas, often adorable.)
The thing about Deviantart is that it leaves the rating of the picture up to the artist. Some people put the "Mature content" filter up for foolish, trivial reasons and some people won't put the filter up if the picture is oozing blood, etc. I understand that the DA staff would be up all hours if they had to rate the pictures, and there's no clear way to fix this flawed system. In any case, my theory regarding Deviantart is that anyone who's sensitive to certain things should stick to the artists they know. [/glow]

Here's the answer to the yaoi - any internet fandom, if sufficiently popular, will become a haven for all manner of uncomfortableness in short order. KH fandom isn't the only offender, but, due to the sheer popularity of KH yaoi on dA, you wind up seeing far more of it than you would for practically anything else. If you add that to the fact that dA is far too huge to be moderated at all, really... well, you wind up with that. And worse. >>; (I'd much rather take XigDem, odd as it is, over Ansem/Riku ) I just wish it wouldn't keep subverting all of the actual relationships in the game. >> If everyone dealing with Axel and Roxas, or Sora and Riku, only do slash, then there's a severe shortage of dealing with their actual friendship. D= Then again, it's not like Squenix is actually helping, with their press release for 358/2 Days. XD (Squenix: "Hey, I bet if we make the entire press release section about Axel and Roxas, and allow it to be interpreted as AkuRoku fanservice, the fans'll go crazy! =D") I'll echo Rider's sentiment about only looking at artists you know, though. There's a whole lot of weird stuff out there, and it's rather hard to unsee it.

AkuRoku is one of my favorite pairings.
._.
Alright, well... Some people like yaoi/shonen ai, but they don't appreciate when people diss their work. Here, look at what kitten-chan says on her webcomic, Memory Lane: IF YOU HATE YAOI DON'T COMMENT/LOOK AT/SLATE MY WORK...JUST STAY AWAY FROM IT LIKE ANY NORMAL SENSIBLE PERSON WOULD. Of course, she's aiming this at the people who look up yaoi/shonen ai just to purposely bash it, not if you accidentally look at it.
Now, I understand your predicament. I get weirded out by things I accidentally see, too, but you just have to shrug it off and move along. Yaoi and shonen ai is what those people enjoy drawing, and you have to respect that, just like how they have to respect others for drawing things that they don't enjoy seeing.
Also, in defense, most of the yaoi I come across has a mature filter. I've yet to see anything really bad that didn't have one. Of course, that's because I specifically look up 'akuroku' and not 'kingdom hearts'.
