I'm pretty sure that 358/2 takes place from the middle of CoM up until the beginning of KH2.
Actually, it starts earlier than that. 358/2 takes place from when Sora rescued Kairi in KH1 to the beginning of KH2. Why? Because that is when Roxas was born, when Sora's heart was seperated from his body. |

Yay! It's my first post! :3 And it's about Terra being Xemnas! . . . again. >_> - It is said in the Ansem Reports that Ansem saved a man who was badly injured. It may have been Terra - who could have been injured in the Keyblade War, and may have forgotten everything except for the name - Xehanort.
- When he saw Kingdom Hearts, his eyes flashed orange. This is the color of Xemnas' eyes.
- When Master Xehanort set up Kingdom Hearts might be the place where Xemnas set up the World that Never Was, which probably Terra and the rest could have only known where it was.
- In an extra cutscene in KH II FM+, Xemnas was seen in the Room of Sleep, talking to an armored person, whose armor looks like Aqua's. Note that Terra, Ven and Aqua were friends. And he called in "friend".
- Related to what I said about their eyes. Terra's eyes either flash when he's angered or probably under the influence of Kingdom Hearts. Anger is probably what he last felt when he fought in the Keyblade War. Or, at least, Xemnas is always with Kingdom Hearts.
- Xehanort/Terra must have been mad at Ansem.
- Why his hair is white . . .? I have no idea. He must have been possessed by Master Xehanort, like how Riku with "Ansem".
- It is possible that Terra has fell to the darkness.
Do they make sense? >_> |

Xemnas, Xehanort, and Xehanort's Heartless all look almost identical. We know Xehanort was experimenting with hearts, and Ansem the Wise tried to stop him. He lost his heart due to that. When he lost his heart, he became both a heartless and a nobody. ("Ansem" and Xemnas)
Master Xehanort and Terra are two different people. It makes more sense that MX becomes Xehanort, you know, seeing as they have the exact same same name.
Nomura would not name the villain of BBS Master Xehanort unless he was somehow related to Xehanort, plus his heartless and nobody. Or he could like messing with us and MX is actually Oogie Boogie in disguise. |

I'm gonna say it's likely a similar thing with Master Xehanort. Ansem the Wise's name was stolen by Xehanort, and it's not all too unlikely that the same thing might have happened to Master Xehanort.
My own prediction is that the "Dark Soldier" who was Master Xehanort's apprentice stole his name and became Xehanort, Ansem's apprentice.
We've never seen his face, but we know it's important, because someone pulled his mask off in one of the trailers and the camera shied away from showing it. He also wears an outfit rather similar to the dark, skin-tight thing that Ansem-possessed Riku wore.
