New high-quality 358/2 Days trailer up on the Japanese official game site. It's not the most recent one from the TGS Closed Mega Theater that we have part of in low quality; it's possibly the DKSigma trailer. Just click on movies, and it'll be right there. I really do love that Final Mix version of Roxas' theme. Also... Riku's hair animation is mesmerizing... XD <3 I didn't understand most of what they were saying, but that was awesome anyways~ >_> *should really finish KH2 one of these days* Dang you, Xaldin! Dang yooouuuu! Hmmm . . . I tried so many times and failed to beat Xaldin . . . ON EASY MODE. That just goes to show how hard he is to battle. XD The final boss was easier. >_> *shrugs* I can't be of much help, except that I can tell you that I used the Gullwing Keyblade to defeat that darned dreadhead. >_> You guys watched 'National Treasure', right? And you know Ian's bald henchman Shaw, right?
David Dayan Fisher, the guy who voiced Xaldin, played Shaw in National Treasure. Thus having Corico nickname Xaldin 'Baldy'. XD

He really doesn't mean anything related to the game. XD

SCAN. Courtesy of KHInsider. ^_^ Can anyone possibly translate some important stuff here? (And also answer why there seems to be some guy with a dog head in a suit in the upper-right hand place? >_>) I suck at kanji, but I can pick out some of the kana. ^_^ Which probably won't mean a lot of anything to anyone, but... well. The big line at the top mentions something about "Kingdom Hearts Project," which I'd guess is what they're calling all the new KH games they're making. The topmost screenie says something about "Rira"... which is a name I feel like I should know, but I'm pulling up a blank. And the 'no' at the end suggests that whoever's talking is seeking for an explanation. The blue text next to Xion says, predictably, Xion. XD; The big blue font at the top of the Birth By Sleep box says something about Keyblade Power, from the looks of it. (Yay for one of the few kanji I DO know. ) EDIT: And something about "meguru?" Which, according to the dictionary, means "to go around," but I dunno.The turquoise text beneath that seems to say something about Aqua meeting the princess(es?)... from what my limited Japanese knowledge tells me... EDIT: Or possibly that Aqua IS a princess. But I'm even less sure on that one.And that reddish-purple box that's pointing to that one screenie at the bottom... says something about Zero Gurabira/Gerabira? That's another thing I feel like I should be able to understand, but... Yeah, that was really helpful, I know. XD; It's a start though...

And the 'no' at the end suggests that whoever's talking is seeking for an explanation. It says "Sora wa [kanji for now] doko ni iru no?" Which might be "Where is Sora now?" or something like that. She's definitely asking about Sora, though. Your feeling probably comes from the fact that it's a spell name. It's "Zero Graviga" ("zero gurabiga").

XD; Yeah, it's "Sora wa ima doko ni iru no?" then. Which, yeah, should mean "Where is Sora now?" And yeah, I figured it was a spell of some kind. ^_^;

More news, this time involving Re:CoM . . . and . . . voice casts?! Re:CoM Casting News + Pics Written by Riku Keyblade Sunday, 19 October 2008
Some Re:Chain of Memories updates for you guys. First off, some casting news and rumours. Recently, Derek Stephen Prince has updated his MySpace Blog confirming his role in the game. He will be voicing the Organization Member Vexen, commenting on how he had twelve hours of recording and that he was sure fans would "love to hate" him. In his post, he also confirmed that Christopher Lee would be back to voice DiZ/Ansem the Wise, and that Richard Epcar would also reprise his role as "Ansem"/Xehanort's Heartless.
Among those official voice actor confirmations, there are also some rumours floating around, via Wikipedia, that Josh Keaton and Tara Platt would be voicing Zexion and Larxene, respectfully. But, due to there being no source to these claims listed, this should be treated as purely a rumour until an official announcement regarding the casting of the characters is made.
UPDATE: Also, according to Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories' page on IMDb, the role of Naminé has been recasted and is now played by Disney Channel Star Meaghan Jette Martin, though, due to there seemingly being no other confirmation of this, please take it with a grain of salt. 0_o Wait, there's more. Even More Re:CoM Casting News Written by Riku Keyblade Monday, 20 October 2008
Well, previously I had mentioned a rumour about Naminé being recasted for her appearance in Re:CoM, and, I can now assure you that it is official. According to her official site, Meaghan Jette Martin will now be doing the voice of Naminé. The Disney Channel Star (who most recently appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock' as 'Tess') will be taking over the role of Naminé, replacing Brittany Snow as the previous actress for the character. No reason has been given as to why she was recasted, but fans know that this isn't the first time they have seen a beloved character being voiced by a different actor ("Ansem"/Xehanort was previously voiced by Billy Zane and is now voiced by Richard Epcar).
It's also unknown if this recast is purely for Re:CoM, or if it will also be for future games (such as 358/2 Days).
UPDATE: More rumours are being squashed, thanks to forum member .:Raz:.who got in contact via email with Tara Platt who was rumoured to be playing Larxene. When asked if the rumours about being cast in Re:CoM were true, she had this to say:
Sorry I am not in Kingdom Hearts. But it is a great game series! Best, Tara
With the chances of her voicing Larxene now squashed, just who do you predict will voice the feisty blonde? We'll keep you update as the news comes in. . . . O-kay, people, we just read that. I'm kinda worried about what voices they'll pick for the other characters now that rumors are circling about. (Also disappointed because Brittany Snow won't voice Namine again. Noes! ;_;) . . . Maybe I'm just worried because I have no clue who these people are. You can ask me what the first name of John Lennon's mom is, but you can't ask me who these rumored people are. XD;; Also . . . Re:CoM SCREENIES! Jack, didn't you tell us that one Kingdom Hearts game ago?Haven't we seen this before?Okay, then. Take us ghost-hunting, Sora!Aerith's face looks . . . strangely blank . . . 0_o'Okay, how many trials must the Queen have against Alice? Seriously.. . . What secret? :3More training. Whoop. </sarcasm>Hey, it's a dog! Not just any dog, but a YELLOW one! <3DUEL!!!The door . . . has opened . . . *brick'd several times*One of the longest posts I ever made. <333333333 And, more news I posted. Yaay! <3

Those screenies appear to be 3D-ified versions of the original Chain of Memories. Srsly, I could probably tell you what all of those scenes are... well, except maybe the duel one... And I personally don't care who does the voices, just as long as it sounds spiffy and doesn't detract from the awesome of KH. :3

Those screenies appear to be 3D-ified versions of the original Chain of Memories. That's pretty much what the Japanese version of RE:CoM was. CoM with KH/KHII graphics. If only they could release a similar RE:FFVII, but that's a conversation for another club... >_>

Yup. ^_^ She's Aqua. The other two characters from the secret video, Terra and Ven, are the other two playable characters.

A series of unknown forces have directed me here. Ohnoez, don't tell me there are more KH games coming out soon? DX Should I even bother getting the first two games now? Or have I severely missed the bandwagon by a few years? >_> <_< XD Kidding, of course. I'm thinking of asking for them as Christmas gifts, 'cause my mom asked if there were any games I wanted and I kinda blanked a little, only remembering Grafitti Kingdom at the time. XD but recently, I've been running into KH related things, and that made me remember that I still want to play both games. It's like, a sign.
