Oh gosh. Lexy and Zexy. XDDD The height difference, it KILLS me! Great, now I have a mental image of Zexion riding around piggyback on Lexaeus like Kenpachi and Yachiru. XDDD Except Zexion isn't a hyperactive, pink-haired little girl... but still... heeee xDDDD That mental image... A rather ironic musing about Riku, in KH and KHII: Riku goes through so much in Chain of Memories to try to deal with his inner darkness, and yet... he winds up doing a complete 360 by the beginning of KHII. ...and no, I don't mean that in the "I'm silly and don't realize that doing a 360 would take you right back to where you started" sense.  Think about it... In the first KH, Riku's a villain because he gave in to the darkness and went around kidnapping the Disney Princesses, because Maleficent told him he'd be able to wake Kairi up by doing that. In KHII, Riku's a hero because he gave in to the darkness and kidnapped Roxas, because DiZ told him it would wake Sora up. Sure, there's a few rather significant differences - KH Riku was a complete jerk to Sora unnecessarily, and kidnapping Roxas really was necessary for Sora to wake up - but, beyond that, it's basically just the side that changes. It's kind of interesting to think about - both in the "Does Riku realize this and hold it against himself?" sense and in the "Why is it so easy for us to accept KHII Riku's actions as good while KH Riku's very similar actions are clearly wrong" sense. |

. . . I learned from this picture that . . . - When they said Lexaeus was a giant, they weren't kidding.
- 'Tis Marly, not Axel, that is the tallest one of the younger members.
- Demyx is taller than Larxene. This is opposed to the usual height that fanartists (new word! ^__^) give them. (So I guess this means that Demdem is older by, let's say, one year. ^_____^ *fangirl squee*)
- Roxas looks about as tall as, well, me. :/ Or probably even taller by a few inches.
- Zexion, unfortunately, isn't the resident pandak kid of the Organization. Larxene's shorter by, um, one to two inches. (That may be the case, but still -- who's older? XD)
- Saix is older than Axel . . . but shorter. :/
- Roxas is officially now the resident pandak kid of Org. XIII.
- Vexen ain't short.
- Demyx is cute even if he's sideways. :3
- Roxas and Zexion have big feet. (Does this indicate age?)
- Xigbar is not as tall as I thought he was.
- Vexen isn't suffering from osteoporosis.
- Nature's a weirdo
- None of them is Mumble. Y'see, they don't have happy feet. XD

I like the fact that Larxene is so short. ...It means it would be REALLY adorable to pair her with Vexen, Lexaeus or Xaldin. ...Yes, I like Larxene/anyone-except-Roxas-or-Demyx. I'd see some of those as interchangeable... but in my mind Vexen is definitely the oldest, Xemnas and Xigbar are about the same age, Zexion is the youngest of the original members, Luxord is the oldest of the younger members, and Demyx is second-youngest. I don't know if it's canon that Vexen is the oldest, or just fanon belief - or if it might have been just that he was the oldest in Castle Oblivion so everyone assumes he's the oldest overall. But he does look oldest to me. But it IS canon that Ienzo was the youngest apprentice, and so Zexion is the youngest of the six of them.
Xehanort was also stated to have been quite young, so I'd say he is either second- or third-youngest among them. I've always seen Braig/Xigbar as being around his age, and so it was probably the fact that Xigbar's just that much more immature that made me put him between Xemnas and Zexion. XDD
Lexaeus could be one of the oldest members, or he might just be really mature for his age. But I put him as second-oldest because in my fanon perception of how the six apprentices were, I always thought Elaeus would have been a quiet, steady big-brother figure to Ienzo, and was several years older.

I'm the youngest in the group, cosplaying the um, oldest.. in the group @.@! (Even though we still refer to Xemnas as grandpa xD) Our Roxas, however, is 19! One of the oldest members of the group.. xD The oldest member of our group is Axel. She's 20, and... gah! I am SO not right for Vexen. xD What made me laugh even more though was that our old Marly was cosplayed by a male. I mean, in a group made up mainly of girls, the GIRLIEST male was cosplayed by a guy. Ironic, no? xD |

Do you know what I just realized yesterday? The first trio of Square-original main characters, Sora, Riku, and Kairi, all have "r" in their names, the second trio, Axel, Roxas, and Namine, all have "a" in their names, but the newest trio, Ven, Terra and Aqua, don't have any letters common to the three names! What could this mean?
Also, all Oganization XIII members have a letter in common- *chakram'd* x_O I was kidding!!

XD Riku, Kairi, and Sora are Japanese for Land, Sea, and Sky; Terra, Aqua, and Ven are Latin for Earth, Water, and Air. Roxas is an anagram+X of Sora, and Namine is Japanese for Wave (taking the water symbolism again); Axel's name doesn't seem to have any particular origin. In all cases but Axel's, though, there's clearly a different motivation for the naming besides getting in the same letters - particularly since in all but Roxas and Axel's case, there wasn't much English influence and therefore the lettering thing might not have even been thought of, since Japanese doesn't use our alphabet normally. As for what the X represents... probably just "nothingness" or "nothing." |

In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ (Yes, I have it), you can sometimes see an Absent Silhouette, a remnant of a dead Org. member from CoM floating around somewhere in a world, which leads to an optional boss battle with that certain Org. member. It's funny, because during play, I found Larxene's kunais . . . in Port Royal.
Oh boy, the Pirates guild and the Ninjas guild won't be happy about this. >_> |

*revives* *DIES REPEATEDLY OF 'SHIPPERGASM* <33333
First they have to show the whole bit with Kairi finding the Sora/Kairi doodle (which made me 'AWWWWW' out loud), and then in the credits they attack me with Cloud/Aeris (*still prefers Aeris to Aerith*)... and the other 'shippy bits... HOW MUCH DO THEY THINK MY 'SHIPPER HEART CAN HANDLLLEEE?! D: *squirms in sheer 'shippy delight*
