I was just wondering on how many people here actually do coding, so I figured the easiest way to find out would be to have a club/listing of all the people here that did it. If you do programming, post stating that you do along with what language(s) you work with and what you intend to learn along the line. I myself program in: C C++ Java Visual Basic And plan to learn: OpenGL (more of a graphical language than a programming one, but hey.) Assembly Members: Name | Languages learnt | Languages to be learned | KitC | C, C++, Java, VB, Assembly | OpenGL | PFA | C++, Basic | Some 3D language, Java | Omni | HTML, C++, Basic | Actionscript | Nocturne | Actionscript, HTML, C++, Visual Basic | C#, C++ | TickTock | HTML, CSS | Java | Fip | C#, HTML, CSS | CSS |
HTML, CSS, JavaC++, Javascript

PFA programs. Not that much, but I do. As for which languages, I know a little bit of C++, and a good amount of BASIC. I'd like to learn some language where I can do 3D stuff, and also Java would be nice. I remember I made a Raw Code Thread once, but it kept dying, sadly. >_>;

I'm a programmer! I use Flash animation (but not Flash programming >_>), HTML, some C++ (not enough to do graphics, which I really want to use ), and a fair amount of BASIC. Any tips on how to do sprites and/or backgrounds in C++? I've been trying to learn how, but none of the books I have tell me. I think the closest thing I've found is 'print screen' (on a printer) or something like that. I'd also like to learn 3D graphics, and Flash code. I think my options for Flash programming are limited, though. I have to select the code from a menu rather than typing it in. (I use a really early version)

For graphics using C++, you'll want to look at Visual C++. C++ alone is hard to implement graphics in. ^^;

There's Visual C++? Wow, you learn something new every day. And what's Actionscript?

System.Console.WriteLine("This club has too much potential to die. *pulls the thread to the top of the page*
I have solid control over the programs: Actionscript HTML (a little) C++ Visual Basic
I was learning C#, but school got in the way. So, I plan to learn C# and more of C++.");

I thought I'd bring up that my dad recently (about a month ago) found a 'learn to do (X computer thing) at your own pace' site, called Lynda. It can teach you various programming codes, such as action script, or it could even teach you just how to use a certain program, like Photoshop. You have to sign up if you want access to everything, but even the things you can access for free are great to use if you want to learn to do something on a computer.

Yes! I think I've finally found the right place! I'm really into coding but only know html and css, I would like to learn a more dynamic language, such as java, where should I start? Could you please write up an add for the different languages so I know where to begin?
oh by the way, I'm Tick Tock (TT)

I uhh.. sort of know C# xD I loved coding with it last year. I decided to take Computer Science as one of my main subjects through high school just because of C# learning last year. This year it's C# and HTML, though Oh, and CSS. Those are pretty much the three languages I know, with CSS definitely being the least (really need to brush up on it) and C# being the most.

C is about the best place to start, the syntax is easier to understand than Java's and it's more intuitive. If you have any questions at all, PM me or post it and I'll help you out. ^^

Being the developer of two NTWF-related computer games, it would be silly of me not to post here. ^^;
I have coding experience in HTML, CSS, and Java. I'm currently learning more about java programming in college, and I also wish to learn about C++ and Javascript (no, Javascript is not the same as Java ^_~ ).
