(knows a bunch of good ones on DA) Fancomics are good, yes. ^_^ *hopes there are some she hasn't seen yet* Fanart and Fanfic wouldn't be a bad thing, either. j;) Or theories (like, "Ty Lee and Mai are going to join up with Zuko" or "Ursa poisoned Fire Lord Azulon" or anything you want, really). Helps to keep the club alive. ^_^ |

Hah- I know there are fancomics I've never seen, on the count of I've never read any. But anyway, I'm not crazy about fanfiction in general, but sometimes I'll give 'em a shot if they're popular enough. On a note barely even relating to Avatar, has anyone tried Skyland? I watched the one-hour premier and another episode after that, and it's not terrible, but I'm not 100% sure about it so far... The main reason I'm even saying anything is that I think the male lead is totally ripped off from Sokka. The guy even has a boomerang.  But I'll give it another episode or two... It certainly hasn't hooked me like Avatar did. |

Alright, to understand this post, you have to understand something about my family; we celebrate Christmas on Christmas day and open presents and everything then, but a couple of days before we give and open presents to and from the extended family. So we opened presents yesterday, and will open some more tomorrow. Now that that's out of the way; I got the Avatar Season 1 box set! At first I didn't want it much, but as the holiday season approached I thought "You know, it would be really cool if I had that" and added it to my wish list. Now it's great! In two days, I've blown through everything from "The Boy in the Iceburg" to "The Deserter." Now I only have four more to go. I'm saving them for tomorrow though. I'm also gonna check out the stuff on the cool bonus disc. Watching all these episodes is cool because it makes me realise how the characters change throughout all these episodes, one of the most notable things being how much of a jerk Sokka honestly was in the first episode. |

I'm not exactly updated about Avatar recently but is it done airing in other countries? Or is the series unfinished? *tries to think* I've only got as far as Book Two: Earth, Chapter 7, methinks.

Avatar's an American show. And we're as far as Book 2, Chapter 20 right now. Book 3 starts... sometime next year, most likely in March-April-May or somewhere around there, and also will have 20 episodes. So the series is currently unfinished. |
