Ah darnit, not September! I thought April was bad enough, to be honest. I hate always having to settle for Skyland...
Ah well, at least there's still Heroes.

Man, everyone here's changing their name to something Avatar-ish! Maybe I should be Sokka now... No, no, Sam Man is a character I made up, so I'll keep pride in that.

This is bad. Real bad.You how people make fanvids of Avatar, right? Well, as of today, like at least 50% of them were deleted, especialy all of the great ones. EDIT: Prince Zuko/Ikkin (do you still go by that name?), your vids were also deleted. I watched a bit of the first one yesterday and I liked it; I was going to watch the rest today.

[shadow=purple,left,300]... Indeed. Videos are a way for fans to show how much they love a particular show/fandom/whatever. If they take this one step further, it's like stopping their freedom of speech. Now I'll stop here before this club becomes a debate thread. Maybe we need a separate thread?[/shadow]

Well, at least I still have it on my computer. I could always just get a PutFile account or something. I just wish Nick hadn't lied about it - they'd said that AMVs were okay, darn it. And, yeah, I'm still Ikkin. I'm just impersonating Zuko. @ Kat: I'd credited both the songs and the clips, so I don't think that was the issue... But, yeah... a thread about this on the debate board might be a better place to continue the discussion.

Just thought I'd mention - if you go to the Escape From the Spirit World game now, you should be able to download all of the podcasts up to Avatar Kuruk (the last water Avatar). There's some interesting information in them... but, they're huge files. o.o (Avatar Roku's is 90 MB) Roku: Trying to cheat your way into mastering the Avatar State, very smart. XD I love the look on his face when he's told he has to fix the temple.
Kyoshi: A lot of unexpected stuff here. She lived to be 230 and is the oldest Avatar ever. She also created and trained the Dai Li herself, in response to a peasant revolt in Ba Sing Se that started attacking important cultural artifacts. And I like the confrontation between her and the Earth King: Kyoshi: *refuses to stomp on peasants* King: How dare you defy your king! Guards, arrest Avatar Kyoshi! Kyoshi: *pwns guards* How dare YOU defy your Avatar!
Kuruk: He's... something else. XD He's also the Avatar whose wife's face was stolen by Koh (and, yes, she's his wife... and since we've seen him in the Avatar State in flashbacks, it means that romantic love is not forbidden for Avatars), and we learn how that happened. But still... he's so immature that it's awesome. Kuruk: *in the Fire Nation, points* I challenge you to an Agni Kai! Random FN Civilian: Uh, I was just going to the store!
...the fact that he's a Waterbender and that Agni Kais apparently only end when someone gets burned makes it even more amusing. XD

*pokes head in* Um, hello? I'd like to join here, but I'm not entirely sure I qualify. You see, I've recently become interested in Avatar, I've found myself almost constantly daydreaming about it, night-dreaming about it as well (three nights in a row, didn't make four last night though ). The problem is that I haven't seen any of the episodes (except for a portion of one that I saw at Circuit City ), read any of the books, or anything else like that. Most of what I learned about it I learned at the NTWF. (and the thing about daydreaming about something you know very little about is that something often gets ruined by something you learn later. I know from experience )
So... Maybe I can be a junior member or something until I find out more?
And, as of this post, this thread has exactly as many posts as the FMA Club thread! [/random]

I'm going to use this post to mention a few more Avatar things - first, the School-time Shipping short, which is absolutely adorable (the password is koh), second, the existence of two similar shorts (according to an interview with The Track Team), and finally, the first episode title of the third season has been revealed. The Awakening Which brings the list of titles we know to four: 301 - The Awakening 302 - The Headband 303 - The Painted Lady 304 - Sokka's Master I'm hoping that "The Awakening" is one of those titles that refers to both Aang and Zuko, because the boy really needs to wake up.

Thanks, I'd watch those, but I currently have a little problem. I'm using an older, sorta-slower computer that will not play movies very well, the fastest computer in my house connects to the internet via an airport-compatible router and the airport function of the said router isn't working, and my dad took the other computer we have to work. *also doesn't know if it's legal* Thanks though. Oh yeah, something I forgot to mention in my last post: I've even alreadt come up with a punny little nickname for Aang (sorry if it's already been use, I really wouldn't know)... Arrowhead.

If your computer is crappy with playing movies, I would recommend (if possible) renting the first DVD from a video rental store. That's how I first started watching the show! It's definitely best to start watching from the beginning, anyways.

I am fairly new to it, but love it all the same ^_____^ *Tackleglomps Ikkin* Thanks for the link, you are my Savior!
