So in it's first week alone, smash 3DS sold as many copies as there are total Wii U's. On a side note, I have determined that the most annoying thing in the world is trying to unlock Mii clothes. I have so little right now that mine has turned into Alucard from Hellsing. Smash Run, Classic, and All Star are your best bets for finding customization items (especially Smash Run). You just have to look for the wrench item. Other minigames such as Trophy Rush and Target Blast occasionally give them out, as does Smash itself, and there are a few challenges that give them out. Yes, it is annoying, but keep at it. You'll get some eventually.

8D Yay, a release date's been announced for the Wii U version! Nov 21 in NA and Dec 5 in Europe. XD The week before Thanksgiving, smart. However, it also coincides with the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Oh right. And Dragon Age: Inquisition is also that week. X3 Goodbye money!

So I've unlocked all the characters and as for now I should try to collect more customs in Smash Run. (From what I heard, its one of the quickest way to unlock more Mii outfits.)
Any specific tips for Smash Run you may wanna share?

I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner, but I finally grabbed a copy today! 8D I've only played about 3 hours so far, so I've only got 3 characters unlocked, but i'm really enjoying it! =D I've pretty much only played the Classic Mode, I just wanted to try out some of my old mains and new characters in that kind of setting.
Villager and Greninja = <3
Also I suck at playing Wii Fit Trainer and Palutena! I'm not at all used to the way WFT moves and attacks yet! But Peach feels like she's gotten an upgrade from Brawl, i'm kicking butt with her now! 8D I definitely wasn't as good with Zelda as I was in Brawl, but that might be because i'm not used to using the Phantom yet! I had a lot of fun playing Robin, but I think I need some practising with him because I kept using up his spells and sword too often! And Shulk because I'M REALLY FEELING IT! 8D
Those are the characters i've looked into so far. It's so fast-paced, I like it! 8D

Any specific tips for Smash Run you may wanna share? Mm, I don't know if I'm the best to offer tips, since I lose almost half the time I play Smash Run against AI. But I DO recommend customizing a character with powers, and replacing those powers with better ones as often as possible. XD Something like Meteor Shower or Spinning Blades is suuper helpful when all the baddies gang up on you and knock you around like a pinball. (And the default chars come with no Powers at all) Also if you're playing for custom stuffs, then try to traverse as much ground as possible, because those chests and special doors have the best stuff. :3 Big baddies give a lot of boosts, but not a lot of custom items. However, your rank in the final battle is gonna determine how much of it you get to keep. Also if you're unlocking custom movesets, you get your player chars' moves more often than other's.

Hmm, not bad at all, I do have this theory where it seems you can pick up a total of 12 rewards (Coins, Customs and Powers) per Smash Run, where should pick the 13th reward, the 1st would be booted out. Personally I prefer Horizontal Beam when it comes to dealing enemies ganging up, and not forgetting Healing Over Time which can potentially full heal your character instead of healing a certain % per use. To be honest I didn't have much problem winning Smash Run unless I'm Ganondorf in both Running and Jumping contests. (Like seriously, Bowser is waay more agile than Ganondorf.)

Woo! Finally unlocked all the characters! Took me three tries to defeat the last one, which was... Duck Hunt. I kind of underestimated them at first. They're surprisingly tough! Something irks me a little about them, though. I mean, they're a duo of a brown-furred mammal and a bird, the latter of which stays on the former's back and helps him fly around and fight. GEE, WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE. I know, I know. With Microsoft owning Rare now, Banjo & Kazooie in Smash could never be. Still, as somebody who grew up with Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie and loved those games to death, it kind of saddens me in a way. It's nice to see that Nintendo clearly haven't forgotten about them, but it's still not the same.

XP But the Duck Hunt dog and the Duck Hunt... ducks didn't cooperate in the slightest in their native game. (In fact, just the opposite) Them fighting and working together in Smash is totally new for them, but was the whole point of Banjo and Kazooie's characters in their games. So it's a bit hard for me to believe that it's not at least a subtle reference to the bear-and-bird duo. Especially considering one of Duck Hunt's alternate color schemes bears (Ha) a bit of resemblance to Banjo and Kazooie themselves.

Might be a subtle jab at the fact that they couldn't manage to get Banjo-Kazooie into Smash for the legal reasons. xD

Look at a few of the more physical ways they fight together. They're similar to Banjo and Kazooie too XD
The character is weird, but I think putting them together was probably the best idea they could have done for the character. I'm getting better at the game. But I still haven't even played with half the characters yet XD I played a lot with my friend, and only played a handful of games online. Sooner or later I think some of us should start getting together for games XD Might be cool to have a small contest between us later, the downside being the possible lag.... Bleh. Oh, one thing I dislike. The Street Pass Smash Thingy they have... It's not that it's terrible, it's more along the lines I hate that they made several challenges that involve it. At most I only ever run into 1 person, once a week to street pass >.> So... Yeah... Lame.

Augh people aren't using their 3DS's the right way! XDDD First, my friend B isn't buying the game before our trip to Orlando, which is a 6-hr car ride, like we'd planned. And the other day, we were waiting in line for an hour for a haunted house, and I was the only one who brought their 3DS, despite two other people owning 3DS Smash! Oh, and at a workplace where at least a dozen people own 3DSs everyone keeps forgetting to bring their Smash game. Come on, people! These are the exact scenarios this game is made for! D: If you're gonna buy the game and just play it at home, then just get the console version!

Welp, I'm done with Super Smash Bros. (or any 3DS games for the matter) for now, I broke my Circle Pad while playing Smash Run.

I've been trying my best to be careful. Normally I'm best with the fast character, but I've been playing the more slow characters this time around. I've seen a few tutorials floating around the web about how to replace the circle pad... Would be nice if Nintendo would offer help with the systems breaking while playing Smash XD And upgrading to the New 3DS isn't really a helpful response XD

But for now maybe I should try gluing it back with super glue (if I could find it of course, wait, is it recommended to do that?), at least until I figure out if it was worth "upgrading" to New 3DS... (Not forgetting, is there any way to transfer my game datas between both consoles? Preferably without having to re-buy my downloaded Animal Crossing New Leaf...) Come to think of it, how does the Circle Pad really look like underneath the rubber casing? That's because the thin plastic need to be made of tougher materials...
