[glow=teal,2,300] Mario UniverseI don't see how Koopa Troopa, Petey Piranha and Hammer Bros could be a playable character. Maybe just something random in a level. Toad seems like a decent choice. Zelda UniverseGanondorf was already added. If Ganon was in there, I think it'd probably be like a Giga Bowser-type character. StarFoxNo one likes Slippy  DK universe

King Dedede seems like an excellent choice for a character. No idea what Lololo and Lalala will do. Marx looks like it could be a stage.
Fire Emblem
You're kidding me. Oguma? Nabarl?! They're not even a main character in Fire Emblem. Although Sigurd and Ike are good choices. I still want my Hector or Zephiel.

But I think the developers might replace him with Ike since more people know him rather than a Japanese Fire Emblem game that only people who've imported the game from Japan would know more about. (Although, if they don't add new special effects to the game suitable to Ike, Roy might just stay) [/glow] |

Marth is the original player character/hero of FE, so I'd think that if one of the Fire Emblem boys were to be axed (while the other stays) it would be Roy. I like both Marth and Roy equally, though. ^_^ and Roy is so cute...uhh...and he has the FIRE! *inside joke there*
I have a good feeling for all of the original SSB characters, and some of the newer ones in Melee...but I don't think that the "clone" characters will be kept. That includes: Dr. Mario, Falco, Young Link, Pichu, Ganondorf and possibly one (or both) of the Fire Emblem boys. Notice the ratio of new characters to the number of "clones" in Melee?...I suspect some replacin' to be happenin'
Now, there are far too many Pokemon in Melee...I think we might see some get the boot.
If they keep Mewtwo, I hope they make him loads better. He was far too weak in Melee...I mean, even Jiggs was better than him and he's supposed to be a MEWTWO. XD If Pichu gets axed, I wont shed a tear. Pichu was just too lame and was a sad clone of Pikachu. Pikachu and Jiggs will definitely be in Brawl, so that's good. They're both original characters from SSB, so it guarantees they will be in Brawl anyway. I'm interested in seeing if Jiggs will be made better or weakened. In SSB, Jiggs was really lame, but in Melee Jiggs was pretty awesome. ^_^
I hope they make the new Mario some kind of hybrid of Mario and Dr. Mario from Melee. *avid Dr. Mario player* since I almost know fo' sho' that Dr. Mario isn't making the cut I'll have to learn to play a mean Mario in Brawl. XD
I also hope that they keep Peach's awesomeness for Brawl instead of making her lame like they might think of doing. XD
and please Nintendo PLEASE get rid of Yoshi's egg roll attack! Oh how awfully useless that move is D= Actually, the only good thing its useful for is to recover horizontally. Almost any attack can break it, even Luigi's taunt. T_T As a Yoshi player since SSB, I'd like to see Yoshi get better...not worse. XD (in the PAL release of SSBM they weakened one of Yoshi's best moves! XO)
G&W was unique, I enjoy playing as him from time to time. I hope they make him a bit better in Brawl. He's pretty strong, but dies far too easily. XD
Oh yes, and they must bring back the Icile Mountain/Peach glitch. XDXDXD *runs*

[glow=teal,2,300]IMO, Marth will never be axed in SSB since he represents Fire Emblem being the first ever Lord character. Roy, was only there to promote Fire Emblem: Fuin no Tsurugi, so I don't think he's that important.
I'd prefer if Ganondorf's moves were revamped since he has way more potential than being a Falcon clone. *thinks of his sword and his energy bolts from LoZ: OoT*
I agree that Jigglypuff and Mewtwo need to be adjusted so that they're not lame/overpowered. And the Pokeball Pokemon'll probably be replaced with Hoehn or Shinou Pokemon.
I think that either Dr. Mario, Pichu, and Falco become more unique or they get axed.[/glow]

Oooh, if Isaac or Felix makes it into SSBB, I'll be really happy. They could definitely have some awesome Venus Adept skeelz... they'd have the coolest ultimate abilities EVAR. And Lupus would totally rock, too, though I find it hard to picture how they'd fit him into the game... Pokemon are one thing, but he's a DOG for crap's sake  I hope if they bring Ganondorf back they make him a little more unique... I really hate clones, and he needs his own abilities, he's the Great King of Evil, he's not gonna steal spells from some guy in spandex. I was actually a pretty avid Yoshi (read as: he was all I used) player in Melee, and I thought his egg roll move was pretty good, though I would like to see him get a better recovery move... the extra double jump is all well and good, but it still always seemed a little unfair to me... meh, maybe I'm just whiney. I'm thinking they'll get rid of Dr. Mario, either completely or just by replacing him with a more unique Mario clone... 'cause there was like, no difference -_- They'll probably get rid of Pichu, 'cause he was useless, and maybe Captain Falcon, too... well, that's just what I'm hoping 'cause I hate him, but... yeah. |

If they need to replace Roy, at least replace with another similar character from the Fire Emblem series that was translated. Such as Eliwood or Lyn. You can't go wrong with a rapier after all ^^ As for the clones... I say eaither get rid of them all together, or re-do them to not be such clones! Falco: He wasn't a exact clone, but he could be better. He's should have been faster, keep his slow shooting, keep his dash, change fire all together with something eles... Not sure what, just change it. Ganondor kf: What can I say... A slow Captain Falcon... Give him a sword and some slightly more magical powers... Make sure to keep his carpet for a cape though  Dr.Mario: AXE HIM! No, better yet, CHAIN SAW HIM.... Enough said -_- Pokemon: Can care less about any of them. I like Mewtwo though... and thats about all I can think of at the moment, and I need to start walking to class, so. Until later! *runs off* |

Isaac or Felix, they would be great to play as ^^ Golden Sun needs to be shown some more I still say Eliwood or Lyn would be fun to have. I enjoy the sword battles in the game ^^ |
