This board goes hand-in-hand with the guilds. In many ways, they're similar, but they're also quite different. While the guilds will be involved in interguild contests, and activities, the clubs are more a social gathering talk area. There will be subcategories of boards, and then you can post a thread for your club in that category. If you have plans for a lot of posts and activities, you may want to consider forming a guild instead. If none of the current subcategories work for you, post it in the main board or contact a moderator. If a moderator needs to create a new category for you, they'll go ahead and do so, and move your club into it. There may come a time where we need a general Misc. category, which can hold a certain number of clubs until an actual category seems to need a subboard, itself. Enjoy!  |

Another thing to note about the clubs is that there's a difference in the content of them, too. The guilds will be geared a lot more towards persona play- most of them will be based around things that your persona could be- a pirate or ninja (or some other thing that your character could be - knights, jedi, and furries could be other possibilities). Clubs would be more interest-based- for instance, an Anime club, or a Stal/Spot ship club. *coughneedtomakeashippingboardpleasecough*
And, if any of you Bloiders are wondering, this was what Stal and I were hinting at yesterday. j;)

Wow, I leave for almost two days, and I come back to find this? Fun! However, I have to wonder how long these boards will stay active (both Clubs and Guilds here). Like the Pirate/Ninja conflict- the boards for that have always been active for a while, then they die out. Of course, NTWF stories go through fads as well, and that's going strong. Forgive my pessimism. |
