Kit Kitum Kiti Kitum Kito? Yeah, it's been a while since I took Latin. Of course, were I to conjugate Kit, it would obviously be Kio, Kis, Kit, Kimus, Kitis, Kunt. [glow=red,2,300]No gender? XD is that masculine or neuter, 'cause it's been a while for me too.[/glow] I tried to make it neuter, but I don't think I succeeded. Though it would be more correct to say it's a Kit-gendered noun.

Since I just got around to reading it all (why yes, I am slow,) Ne: Down in a happy valley ( a happy valley, not the Happy Valley), everyone is harvesting celebration—I mean, celebrating the harvest—in the peaceful wake of the Guilds’ War: Rising Shadows (COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU!). But one particular farmer, named Bob (srsly), isn’t quite so happy: A stray lightning spell burnt down much of his crops, and all he got was a box of chocolates. But under his cornfield, he found something amazing… Something that will change his life forever… Something that will change the fate of the world itself! [Cut trailer, go to voice over, scroll credits.] I vote we re-introduce Farmer Bob at one point, flying down from the skies on a dragon, having practised swordfighting and majeek to the highest levels during the past few hours. Then we can all stomp him to death :3 *whack'd* Nah, srsly, great summary, Wolf xD

I may seriously consider doing just that. ._. :3 But yes, awesome summary so far Wolf. <3 Like a condensed soup, you've packed a great deal of wonder in to a small can. Bravo.

Guild Wars II: The Summary Chapter Six Page TWENTY-SIXN: PFA stifles a scream, draws a katana (again, she’s not actually “drawing” it, though they do have quite the extra bit of artistic flair compared to a tradition sword…), and takes a defensive stance.Ma: Aeri secretly smiles as, at long last, she’s learned about Spacefleet, of which she has heard many rumors whilst secretly enjoying her crime boss regime under the name The Boss. That aside, she shows a genuine smile as she tells Leoness they’ll help her out no matter what. Just down the hall and around the corner (if the Manor has halls and corners that can be physically measured), Omni saps the dark energy out of Nature and stores it in her crystal.S: Ethan asks Shino what Shino needs Ethan to do.Me: In perhaps the shortest post of the roleplay, Cyborg tells the others to keep going.S: Leoness is glad she hasn’t been outcast, but tells her family she brought nothing along for the ride. Besides, Strife’s men are probably looking for her at this very moment…. Or, well, they would be, if he weren't listening to Fraze and Zari at the moment, coming to the conclusion that the lifeform had impersonated him to give Fraze the order to head planetside. Satisfied, Strife says they’ll continue the meeting in Sector 2 as his marines start poking Zari and Fraze.Ma: Scar says they’ll have to send up a flare to draw down the moon. Hmm, isn't that mixing rituals?S: Fraze, still being poked by The Çommander’s marines, fears bloodshed.K: Trilly tells PFA she doesn’t want to kill her, so she should state her business and leave.MaK: Ikkin tells Bladetail she thinks this will create more problems than it’ll solve, citing the kitsunes’ long and tiresome journey to liberation as reason enough why these things can’t happen in the blink of an eye (or the flip of a crystal, as it may be), and then tells Goosh she’s here to find out what’s going on, too. Might I refer you both to the summary…? Ma: Sev flies to Scar and tells him, Ha, Ikkin’s in trouble and needs his help. Take that!S: Zari flicks her ear at Strife, and Leoness fears being found with talking animals. Quite frankly, I’d worry more about the fact that they’re talking than about the possibility of being found with them. :sagenod:Ma: Scar tells Sev he has more important things to do than climb up a duck’s bottom and that the phoenix should take the other Mages on a suicide mission without him. Yes, because once the house is clear, he has certain things to do with the sisters, in private.S: Six dice appear out of nowhere in Keng’s hand. Where’s nowhere? Everywhere.Ma: Surf follows the phoenix and says they should’ve left two minutes ago.S: Amneiger researches local demonologists while waiting for Strife to arrive. He shoulda brought a deck of cards, then he could’ve played a game with Keng.Page TWENTY-SEVENPMaK: Kat has an idea. Does it happen to involve fainting…? >.> Apparently, it does, as just then, she casts a massive spell, sending up a massive purple firecracker (aka, a flare) into the sky, and then, feeling quite weakened by the spell, collapses. Again.Ne: The Blonde (I think her name was Asthma >.>) sees the flare and flies to there. Ma: Nature snaps awake, fearing desperately that the demons want her sitar. But do they really…?N: PFA keeps her katana raised and tells Trilly she has a very important matter to discuss with Kit. Here’s the twist: She’s actually a collections agent.Ma: Celestial finds a dragonet and makes a new friend.K: Shade stands around doing nothing in particular.S: Fraze joins the debriefing. And the marines still poke him. Such lovable gents they are. I want one! ^_^I: Avelin—a former Knight who once rode along Evan's right side—and his as-yet-unamed lord, a former swashbuckler, talk about current affairs, such as Forest’s betrayal, imminent war, you know, all the hot topics in the Wall Street Journal, before deciding they could easily ready their army and make this a three-sided war. Which, I believe, is still about three sides short of ideal. I blame Kit.K: Trilly tells PFA, fine, if you want to go see Kit, go see him, but I’ve got my eye on you.Ma: Celestial says the dragons will fight alongside her if Kit’s promise is true. Back at the Manor, Omni gives Nature a hug (huggatree!) and finishes her beef stick.N: PFA thanks Trilly before running off to South Gate and saying, “Kit.” Is that, like, now a swear word or somethin’? Like, you know, “Holy Kit!” or my personal favorite, “When Kit hits the fan”?Ma: Celestial tries to intimidate PFA. How’d that saying go, “Crouching dragon, hidden ninja”?N: PFA introduces herself and says she’s there to speak with Kit. Now tell me, who isn’t?P: Zylaa tells her weasels to watch the ship and they set out. That is, the Pirates set out. For Kit, o’course.K: Deus drops Tamia off at the South Gate. Her arm feels dead, but she has made her decision nonetheless. If she's ever going to accept that demons killed her father, and that she can do nothing to bring him back to her, she must do this. She must join Kit. And so, she does. She walks up to him and tells him she’s an ally. Oran runs off, slipping away, and Tamia stands at the demon lord’s side. And me? A beautiful post, Tamia; it quite nearly brought me to tears.Page TWENTY-EIGHTMa: Celestial considers following PFA.N: Cat Assassin approaches South Gate and hides behind a bush. Just, y’know, watch for hanging chads.Ma: Bluisa keeps watching over the scene. There seems to be a lot of that going on, actually.S: Zari and her clones arrive in the debriefing room. And, at long last, The Commander finally arrives (which is rather odd, considering he left his office before Fraze and Zari did…you know, I’m seeing a trend developing here). He takes a seat and announces his plan for world domination safely ensuring the continued surface peace of the NTWF: Spacefleet will diverge into two teams aptly named “Space” and “Fleet”; the former will head to Mage Manor in search of Leoness while the latter, headed by Strife himself, will head to South Gate, hide in some bushes, and observe the meeting at midnight. At its conclusion, Strife will step forward and make contact (of the fourth kind, I suspect). At which point, if anyone disobeys, they'll become the newest Color Splash on HGTV (and trust me, the painter won't be America's Next Top Design Star, but instead, Sloth’s closest cousin, The Commander himself).K: Kit accepts Celestial’s offer and then explains himself to Ikkin and gives PFA the finger before turning to Tamia and giving her some flowers. Aw, how kind. :] Oh, and did I mention, for his plan to be successful, he’ll have to seize Mage Manor? No? I thought I had. Well, as a rather wise parrot once told me, always read the fine print. Even if it is written in blood. Especially if that blood happens to be your own.P: Rider seconds the notion to get going, but oddly enough, still goes nowhere.S: Ethan crashes the briefing and request permission to download live video feed to catch up on what he missed. Personally, I’d take the two-minute recap.N: PFA waits patiently for Kit to find time for her.MaK: Ikkin asks Kit how he plans to keep the demons in check. Ma: Sev sets fire to the guestroom and rushes off to the doorway, appealing to Omni and Nature if they’d like to join them, offering the latter a complementary phoenix-fire healing treatment if she complies. Isn’t that blackmail?S: Zari hopes she’s assigned to go to the Mages’ Manor instead of Dunburrow. Planetside, Leoness leaps to her feet to put out the flames, but in doing so, burns her feet. How ironic. Back on the moon, Keng volunteers to go with the second team, to Dunburrow. And just then, in the midst of all this worrying, The Commander begins to laugh at Ethan’s lateness. How rude.Ne: In the afterlife, the scale of good and evil begins to tip…towards evil. That’s the obesity talking. McDonald’s sending us all to Hell. Ma: Surf pleads for Nature and Omni to join them.Page TWENTY-NINEMa: Jasor teleports to the front door and waits to ride Sev.S: Fraze wonders if the rumors are true: Maybe Strife really is insane.PMaK: Kat decides to wake again and rushes off to the library. Guess she has late fees. >.>S: Amneiger waits patiently for The Commander to calm down.Ma: Dracké hears Derek the inundead thwack Rikku and rushes off to save her, kinda like the Weewoo did.P: At some point between this page and the last, the Pirates got the ‘ell outta ‘odge and finally arrived in Dunburrow. Furrowing her eyebrows and looking up at Ikkin in dismay, Rider asks how and why her horse is trying to eat the kitsune.Ma: Celestial continues to observe the ongoing scene. Live coverage rocks!Me: The Mercs arrive and start running towards Kit. Heh, everyone wants a piece of him, don’t they?Ma: Celestial misses Overlord and feels lonely.S: Strife stops laughing and asks for volunteers: Subcommanders #1 (Cyclops) and #4 volunteer for team “Space,” to the Mages’ Manor.P: At the Weewoo, the blarf sets sail for adventure. At South Gate, Hunty reunites with Bloody Mary, who—as head of the Meepits—has sided with Kit. Apparently, he offered them world domination.Me: Hades continues running towards South Gate. Why, I do believe, after he arrives, we’re only waiting on Spacefleet. And since they’re being all secretive about things, they can arrive late and feign hiding in the bushes when we never saw them earlier. *slygrin*K: Shade watches the other guilds arrive. How fitting.Me: Hades stumbles into the middle of the crowd and directs everyone’s attention to the zombies following him. Flambé, anyone?P: Clara runs up to Rider and gives her lots of hugs and kisses before admiring the stars.S: Zari requests to join team “Space.”Ma: Celestial kills the zombies. Wait, is that even possible?Page THIRTYS: Ethan commits to Team Space and Siber barks at Zari’s clones.Ma: Omni says she’ll go, but she has to pack her bags first.S: In the shortest post yet, Amneiger joins Team Space and asks how long they’ve got to prepare.Me: Jernath draws his daggers and rushes off to help kill the zombies.Ma: Working together, the Mage and the Mercs obliterate the zombies once and for all.S: Strife tells everyone they have fifteen minutes to prepare and tells Ethan to keep an eye on Zari, in a non-stalker-ish way, of course; he tells everyone to meet at the docking bay, where they shall depart. The Commander himself, however, launches to the planet and enjoys the thrill of the ride. It won’t be soon before long (great CD) until the demons are under his control and all the world bows down to him.
SS (still Spacefleet): Keng tells the contents of Team Space (aka, Team “1”) to wear appropriate disguises, especially Cyclops, whose presently a green blob in a robot suit, and then rushes to her lab to check on the shields she was experimenting with when this all began. Back in the briefing room, Zari pulls of her armor, dons glasses, and grows fur (must be going as Professor McGonagall) while Cyclops says he’ll disguise himself in a fishbowl when they arrive and heads off for the docking bay. Outside the airlock, Fraze follows the Commander and lands in the forest south of South Gate.
SS: Back on the moon again, Zari ponders how she and Ethan shall reach the planet; Ethan suggests they take a cloaked shuttle. Yes, because otherwise, the shuttle might feel cold. Zari says she has one just like that, and it’s not shiny so that’s a plus, but she can’t remember where she parked it. In the lab, Keng finds a single shield (must be lonely) and checks the weather: a few meteor shows, some supernova surfing, a cold front moving in. Ah, that'll snow. :]
SS: Strife finally lands, spawning a massive crater under his feet and seeding an even massiver earthquake that shakes the foundations of Dunburrow for miles around, and then casually sets off in search of Fraze.K: Just a few miles south, Tamia catches sight of Trilly’s bleeding shoulder and rushes off to help her; regardless of her allegiance, the brotherhood (or in this case, the sisterhood) of the Knights still prevails. But just then, she feels The Commander’s aftershock and falls flat on her face. How graceful. -_-Page THIRTY-ONES: In the docking bay, Urchin argues with Lily, with her spaceship. O_oP: Zylaa compares the intensity of the artifact’s powers to the former popularity of boy bands before the earthquake passes. Yeah, that’s the world taking vengeance.S: Zylaa offers Urchin a hand and invites her to join Team Fleet.Ma: Surf tells Omni to hurry up before getting thrown on her face. Again, I call it karma.S: Fraze’s assault rifle is split in two by the blast, and other than his table’s being forty meters away, he appears all right. After requesting permission to retrieve said dining room appliance, he asks Strife whose going to whom. Will Smith suggests meeting at ninety-percent.K: Zari hangs from the windowsill before crashing into the floor. @#$%&N: Cat Assassin loses his mind and mumbles to himself.Ma: Bluisa hops out of hiding and runs right into Ikkin. Ikkin, however, feels nothing.Ne: Dead guy from the afterlife says the demons have what they deserve. Dixit. K: Kit wrongly calls Ikkin the Court Marshal (Tamia’s the Court Marshal; Ikkin’s the Court Magistrate) and tells her that he’s made packs and set regulations to keep the demons in check (but if they need pacts to keep their end of the bargain, who’s to say they’d willingly uphold their end of the deal if not bound by magic?). As the earth begins to shake, Nyia wraps her arms around Kit, who’s wrapped his arms around Shade, so none of them fall over, and Bladetail strikes PFA while Tavara hums an uplifting tune as smoke flows forth from his raven-shaped mask.S: Amneger gathers an army of minitanks and pockets a blowtorch before meeting up with the others in the docking bay and asking if they really need a cloaking device if they’re travelling at night.PMaK: Kat teleports to Kit. Lady Kat, Sir Kit. Kit, Kat.Me: Jernath yelps as the earthquake rolls past.N: PFA flies backwards, bleeding, bloodied, and bruised, and calls out for Cat Assassin to come to her rescue.Ma: Celestial wonders if her torn wing membrane (bitten by zombie and sterilized by dirt) is infected or not.P: Rider and Clara hold onto each other and scream as the shockwave passes.S: Siber fetches Ethan’s knife and invites Zari to board her ship.Ma: Omni grabs her stuff and waits for Sev to fly away. Far, far away, Bluisa sends Cat Assassin to PFA.N: Cat Assassin holds onto PFA until the earthquake subsides. (Hmm, and here I’d thought it’d been a wave pulse, not a continuous waveform. Well, I suppose, depending on the wavelength of the aforesaid pulse, someone experiencing it pass may consider it a continuous wave. Hmm, I don’t suppose this changes things. But it certainly reassured my love of Physics. ^_^ Gosh, I gotta join Spacefleet.)Page THIRTY-TWOS: Stones orbit Strife as he starts off for Fraze and tells Team Fleet (aka, the “second team”) to find another landing site.P: Clara throws Rider to the ground and rushes off with Mr. Pig in search of the fiery stars she’d seen fly across the sky before the earthquake. She emerges from the forest and sees the fiery wreckage of the impact site (Clare like fire) and slowly approaches the angel. Seeing him, she screams.Me: Midknight helps Jernath to his feet. …Shippy?S: Zari opens the door for Ethan. For Strife’s sake already, would you get in the ship?!P: Hunty approaches Kat and asks where her loyalties lie (in a bed, of course), while the Meepits ask the same of Goosh and Ikkin, but are ignored.I: The Invisible Guild’s advance guard—Tigereye, a former knight with a scarred face and brown hair, and accompaniments Sickle (an ice mage in black) and Oak (a pirate as thick as his name)—approach Winterstone at South Gate and make a formal announcement that the seventh guild is very determined to get whatever it wants. Unfortunately, no one's listening and they feel as invisible always.N: PFA hurls kunai at Kit and says he’s going to pay. After she gets some serious medical treatment.Me: Jernath sets off with the Kougra brothers to find the cause of the earthquake.Ma: Celestial runs to PFA, treats her to a little healing air magic, and tells her to escape before Kit kills her and then rushes back to Kit’s side and introduces herself to their new “allies,” the Invisible Guild.N: PFA leaps to her feet, indignant, and rushes toward Kit with her katana raised.Ne: Leraye, a travelling scholar studying alchemy in the Castle, searches the archives for a particularly valuable tome (it went on sale last Tuesday) and stumbles upon the drained corpse of Madam Esmerta, who, even in death, holds quite a fancy for Sir Kit. The scholar finds his way to Trilly, whom he offers to heal, before offering his hand to take her places that will blow her mind. P: Rider chases after Clara—but Shiva stands in her way, blocking her path and threating to eat anyone who stands against Kit. Rider gulps and rushes up to Hunty, telling her this is suicide—they can’t possibly side with the demons. Wait, isn’t not siding with the demons suicide? I’d thought we’d established that last chapter.MaK: Ikkin asks Kit for the fine print. Ma: Sev offers Surf some healing and Ikkin authorizes godmoding on account of brevity. Don’t forget to sign the dotted line. ~_^S: Fraze contemplates magnetism.K: Trilly turns down Leraye’s first offer but turns up his second.Me: Hades introduces himself to Kit, but again, goes ignored.K: Shade says Kit’s life is hers as she intercepts the ninja and drives her blade towards PFA’s heart—Me: Hades feels hungry, feels the need to hunt, to taste blood on his lips again. He sees Celestial and suddenly craves a delicacy, dragon blood. Pacing towards her, he pounces—and the sixth chapter comes to an end.And such a close it is. Hypocrisy is in the air. All around the world, people are making and breaking promises—and Kit is at the center of them, the biggest hypocrite of all of them. He asks acceptance for demons, but in doing so, seeks to change everyone—make the the dragons, the vampires, even the werewolves, all human. Why cannot they, too, find acceptance? He says the demons are honest and truthful, not as bad as believed, and yet, he sees it fitting to make pacts to prevent them from attacking. Perhaps worst of all, however, he aims to buy the demons’ freedom, using bribery instead of honesty to change the peoples’ minds. And in doing so, he has shown his true colors, his own dishonesty. He has sought his path with just intentions, but intent alone is not enough: The path one chooses decides their fate, et etiam, their intent chooses their path. But Kit’s path is one strewn with delusions and too many lies to be true, and all the people seem blinded by his own blindness, too. Perhaps good shall fall in pursuit of the greater goodness, but what is night but the darkness before dawn, and what is day but the time between two nights? A true heart leads to greatness, yes, but only a true path leads to goodness. And for this epic, goodness seems undermined by greatness. But, perhaps, there is still hope. For after all, the King has yet to come out of hiding…. (( EDIT :: to add linkage ))

P: At the Weewoo, the blarf sets sail for adventure. At South Gate, Hunty reunites with Bloody Mary, who—as head of the Meepits—has sided with Kit. Apparently, he offered them world domination. Fun fact: Bloody Mary loathes that whole meepit-world-domination idea. Mainly because it's giving meepits a bad name and he can't go anywhere without people going 'omg an evil little meepit' at him. S'why he joined Kit: he knows what discrimination is like. ...then, of course, he switched sides without a blink as Hunty came along :] And dang, the blarf is still lurking near the village >> I'll find a way to use him sometime later.

(I)nvisible - (K)nights - (Ma)ges - (Me)rcs - (N)injas - (Ne)utral - (P)irates - (S)pacefleet
Guild Wars II: The Summary Chapter Seven Page THIRTY-THREENe: Leraye shows Trilly Madam Esmerta and offers Trilly his stone. Ma: Sev heals Surf and teleports them to Ikkin, where Surf tells her they’ve arrived.PMaK: Kat tells Hunty she’s with her all the way, but conveniently doesn’t state her loyalty’s still split three ways.P: Zylaa don’t want to be eaten by no half-demon horse and asks Hunty to reconsider their decision to join Kit.K: Tamia rushes inside the Castle in search of Trilly, but collapses as her wound erupts with billowing green spoke born of the magical poison Forest had seeded inside her; the green spoke spreads outwards as Tamia Wendfeld of Millsford breathes her last breaths and dies.
Requiescis in pace, O Tamia, requiescis in pace.S: Lily opens the door, and Urchin offers Keng a ride, cloak included.N: PFA tries to dodge Shade’s attack. But is she successful…? You’ll find out when we get back! [Achyfi… Enjoy this lightly-carbonated beverage made of all the things you’d never eat, let alone drink. Achyfi.] Cat Assassin leaps towards PFA, trying to save her, but will she survive? Dun dun DUN! Find out after this break!Ma: Bluisa descends upon Kit and demands that he give her back HER artifact. But will he listen?!K: Zari takes a stroll down the hall and is attacked by noxious green gas—and she screams, mentally, sending an empathic wave pulse throughout the kingdom. Consider this another earthquake. In your mind.S: Keng leaves the rest of Team Fleet to fend for themselves as she boards Lily for an exhilarating ride. And in other news, Amneiger makes the shortest in Guild Wars history, asking why humans must always go first. Well, would he prefer demons to be given the right?K: Pyro runs to save Zari, but is also attacked. She draws her flameblade, and magical poison retreats. Must be afraid of fire. (Funny coincidence, then, that it should attack Pyro….) Say, where’s that Clara girl when you need her?Me: Cyborg and Midknight run off after Jernath.P: Hunty reconsiders Kit’s offer, not for the riches but for the help, and seeks to find Ikkin’s allegiance. Wait, did she lose it or somethin’? Just behind her, Rider muses that there are sea demons, too, and fire’s not the only thing would shood—strike that, reverse it—that wood should fear.Page THIRTY-FOURMe: Jernath discovers the crater and wonders what—or who—had made it.S: Cyclops runs up to Keng and Urchin before they leave and asks to mount a rescue mission. Wait, is Lily not enough to mount?! Anyways, Keng sends a message to the other team members and says they need a name other than Team 2. So Team Fleet enough isn’t enough for you? Gosh, these ‘Fleeters are so hard to please.
SS: As Urchin boards Lily and turns her on, too, the spaceship (now travelling at warpspeed) suggests the name Team Fluffy; Keng unwillingly accepts it as they enter the atmosphere.Ma: Celestial fights off Hades and stabs him in the heart (wait, doesn’t that kill vampires?) before rushing off to assist Shade with her fight against the ninja, but diverting herself to the feline trying to save PFA. Well, with the bloodlust she has, no wonder the dragons are persecuted.K: Evan Forest readies himself to defend Bianco from The Blonde, if necessary.MaK: Ikkin thanks Surf for arriving with reinforcements and tells Hunty she sides with the side siding with saving the world. In other words, she’s clueless. N: Cat Assassin tries to attack Celestial, but apparently misses.K: Zari wonders where the poison’s coming from. Alas, if only she knew….P: Hunty says the only thing they want is the only thing that anyone wants: the artifact. Quite frankly, Bloody Mary just wants to survive. Aww, the widdle Meepit’s a chicken. Like Sev. :}Ma: Celestial, feeling ignored, flies away.Me: The Kougra brothers continue to follow Jernath.Ma: Jasor joins the others and tries to comfort Ikkin.Page THIRTY-FIVEP: Zylaa offers to use the weasels as a distraction while Rider wonders how she ever thought of retiring.MaK: Ikkin feels insulted being colorless, so she revives her Pirate allegiance so she, too, can be orange. PMaK: Ikkin plans to swipe the artifact from Kit and escape with the Mages and Pirates back to Mage Manor, so she approaches Kit and tells him that, if they’re to trust him, he’s to entrust them (specifically, Ikkin) with the gem.Me: Hades dies and goes to Hell. Which, you know, is rather ironic, seeing as that Hades is Hell.K: Kit hands Ikkin the gem—when Esmerta’s blood wears away, it’ll be uncontrollable again anyways—and feels his arteries and veins rupture inside him. In his last instant of life, he turns to Tavara, who lifts her mask and reveals her true identity; she is Kya, his twin, and she apologises before running off into the night….
K2: Shade drops her sword and falls to Kit’s side, stroking his face and feeling the pit of emptiness growing inside her. She turns to pursue his murderer, but the ninja’s katana strikes her as she moves to rise, and she falls backwards, landing beside her lover as she dies.
Requiescitis in pace, O Eques….
K3: Pyro suggests she and Zari head to South Gate.Ma: Omni pets Sev, ready to return to the Manor.S: Ethan finally boards Zari’s ship. Just around the riverbend, Bacon arrives in the briefing room and finds he’s…well, late; he messages Keng, asking where to go, before promptly finding he’s…well, lost. Anyway, Keng sends him the coordinates and braces for landing.K: Zari says, yes, they should really get to South Gate soon.S: Zari gets in the pilot seat and revs the engine; Amneiger asks if the shuttle has airbags and worries about the forgotten kitchen tongs.Ne: The Blonde—Asthielle, gesundheit—teleports (again), but fails to realise she's dropped her locket. PMaK: Kat weeps over her fallen comrades. She does this a lot, I swear.Ma: Nature—still in the Manor—coughs up shadowy spoke once again and collapses, unconscious.P: Rider feels heartbroken and rushes to get Clara before the phoenix takes flight.Page THIRTY-SIXMa: Celestial smells death and roars a requiem for the fallen, one which leads Overlord back to her. Together, they decide to return to South Gate.S: Cyclops boards Zari’s shuttle and tells her to keep it professional. Planetside, The Commander meets up with Fraze and tells him to prepare for battle, war is coming. Well, milord, I thought it’d already come. Guess I was wrong. Up in the air, Zari starts the flight. Hold on to your butts, guys. (And what movie is that line from?) Down on the planet once more, Fraze recovers his table and dons his cloak again.PMaK: Ikkin catches the gem and gives Sev the signal to leave, but—Ma: Sev cannot teleport until he takes care of Kit and Shade, turning them to ashes, bonded for eternity, before bursting into flames and teleporting everyone to the Manor; its doors open in acceptance of the newcomers.PMaK: Ikkin drops the gem and rushes over to Nature, asking what’s wrong with her. She’s unconscious, duh.P: Speck vomits in a bush while Hunty picks up the gem and examines it; it now looks like a solid oil slick, and Bloody Mary screams as something inside it moves and Hunty drops it. As the captain says they should do some research, Speck picks up the gem and pockets it for herself. [Events inverted for temporal continuity.] Meanwhile, Zylaa asks Rider what happened to Clara. What, does nobody care about Mr. Pig?N: PFA finishes her fight with Shade and looks for the gem—seeing it vanish with Ikkin in a slew of fire, she turns to Cat Assassin and says they need to follow them.Me: Jernath sees floating rocks in the distance and fires and arrow at them. Is he TRYING to start a fight here?! O.OMa: Bluisa frowns, having thought Ikkin was her friend… When Cat Assassin approaches and warns her that the air in South Gate is slowly growing poisonous (from Tavara’s remains, most likely, since the Castle is too far away for it to be Tamia's poison), she levitates all three of them towards the Manor.PMaK: Kat…ponytails? tailgates? rides the tail of? Sev’s phoenix fire and arrives at the Manor; she rushes over to Nature and cradles her beside Ikkin.Ma: Seline asks Kat if Nature’s supposed to shake like that…. Grab her, she’s seizing! O_OP: Rider admits she never found Clara before she returned to Sev. Wha?!S: Lily renames Team Fluffy Team Stealthy Ninja—Keng says, “No,” and asks Urchin how she can possibly tolerate her ship.Ma: Omni blames Sev for not properly healing Nature and rushes over to get the job done. Again.S: Ethan buckles up Siber. This is going to be a long ride. And with that, this chapter comes to an end. I feel bad now about how badly I treated Kit in the last chapter; I apologise for acting so blindly. In memoriam. (( EDIT :: to correct numbering error )) (( EDIT ii :: to make sense of a misunderstanding )) (( EDIT iii :: to correct a rather embarrassing pronoun reference >.> )) (( EDIT iv :: to add linkage ))
