We may as well say it can bake bread and wake you up if you're late for work, too. This is just my opinion, but I think it should really only have one purpose, or a few closely connected purposes (i.e., keeping these armies trapped, and keeping them locked in battle). We could keep adding magical properties and abilities to it, but then it would just become a sort of channel through which we can godmode without making it look like godmoding. However, if Cat Assassin thinks that it can resurrect, that might lead to some interesting cross-purposes for all concerned, regardless of whether or not it actually has that ability. I've been into 'bloids, and we've discussed that the purpose of the artifact should not be definite. Anyone can guess what the purpose really is, but it's up to Strife (methinks) to decide what it really does. In short, we're all free to guess what it does. No one hasn't tried using it, right? Ah, true. I'm afraid I haven't really kept up much with the planning stages.

Shino, feel free to respond to Mr. Hood Guy in whatever way you see fit (preferably without killing him, though). x3 I have a bit of an idea of where I want to go with this, but it's pretty flexible.
Basically, I'm just starting to offer an explanation of why the artefact ended up where it was, but I'll leave all the questions of what it is, what it does, and what its true origin is up to someone else (in essence, the guy Shino and I met just temporarily used it and its effect on the forumers, for his own purposes).
Edit: And yes, Trilly and I were scheming... just a bit. ^_^;

><. I just noticed something. I'm being ignored. Can anyone explain why? Depends on if you want the blunt truth, or a hug and me telling you that you're doing fine. xD xDDDDD Try reading his roleplay guide for a start. EDIT: Okay, it's 2 am and I'm finishing a project but felt like I needed to post anyways... even if it was extremely short. I was just wondering when the ninjas would get involved. So uhm... I took it into my own hands. >>;

I've been at a bit of a loss without someone to talk to in the RP, until Zari showed up. EDIT: Also...where's Nature, again? EDITEDIT: Nevermind, found her.

Who has the shiny right now? And is it in Fraze's box, or in the bag, or what?
EDIT:: Nevermind. I figured it out.

Hang on a second. Precious is still in the bag, right? Hunty, you might want to edit your post... ...><; OhhowIhateit when a load of new pages pops up overnight both in the RP and on the OOC thread. Good thing I live in a non-frequented timezone and can afford to read things through and post a reply without fearing to get ninja'd. I sortof assumed that it was still in the bag, but the bag was on the ground and half-opened and lightning was striking and all, so it still came off as shiny >>

Well to start off, there actualy is significant land between the Mage Manor (near the founding of that all-important artifact) and the actual Castle Kestrel as I originally imagined it. It's nto terribly far away. Obviously in the Guild Wars I you oculd see that it was close enoguh for Sev to fly to in under a small timeframe. Where Tamia & I are is much further away from that. Pretty much in a different land right next to the land enxt to Dunburrow. So let's say that it's geographically acceptible for it to be snowing there. I say this because beyond would be the autumn season in Dunburrow. To my logic and opinion, it just makes more sense to make the seasons go in (correct) waves across the world of the NTWF. Spring - Summer - Autumn/Fall - Winter - Spring - and so on... Actually, where Tamia is is about a day's travel from Castle Kestrel. ^^; She was on her way back to Millsford, which is a small village a couple of days to the west of the Castle -- but still in the country of Dunburrow. Of course, it is autumn, and possibly late autumn and chilly outside, so I don't think it's so strange that there would be a bit of snow on the ground in places. Then you and I are where you were plannign to be originally. Redundant? Yes. But I am perfectly happy with still being in the land of Dunburrow with light frost.

Have you guys organized a posting party or what? xDDDD *Will have a lot to catch up to when she gets back home* =p Your character is heading towards Mage Manor's kitchen, right? If so, Leoness is there right now in the story, and she's looking for you and Scar. EDIT: Also, does anyone have an idea of how much time has passed in the story since The Commander issued the lockdown? I get the feeling that a lot of things will take place in one hour of story time. xD;

Yup. I'm gonna guess about 15-20 minutes or so. Probably less actually, but I don't want to be stuck wandering around the base for 50pages, though I'm sure I could find plenty to do. And at the rate this is going I'm sure we'll get through an hour quickly enough.

In regards to my most recent GW post, please note that Fraze doesn't know about the lockdown yet. He still thinks that he received proper authorization to go to planetside.

Incidentally, Rikku's normally a lot more civil than this (somewhat painfully so). The storm's just putting her nerves on edge.

Wow -- that's a whole lot of conversation you guys have posted in the... sixteen hours since I last posted. ^^; I think I know what I'm doing after school today. x3
By the way, Shino, although I love your last post, Oran's communication with Tamia isn't out loud. To all but the very suspicious, he's just a harmless little kittypet. ^^
