.. I find it funny that the OOC thread is longer than the roleplay itself. That is all.

And Shino, how far are you from the main action? 'cuz it's snowing where you are, and it was a sorta fall-weather day where we were before the magical storm of doom hit. Well to start off, there actualy is significant land between the Mage Manor (near the founding of that all-important artifact) and the actual Castle Kestrel as I originally imagined it. It's nto terribly far away. Obviously in the Guild Wars I you oculd see that it was close enoguh for Sev to fly to in under a small timeframe. Where Tamia & I are is much further away from that. Pretty much in a different land right next to the land enxt to Dunburrow. So let's say that it's geographically acceptible for it to be snowing there. I say this because beyond would be the autumn season in Dunburrow. To my logic and opinion, it just makes more sense to make the seasons go in (correct) waves across the world of the NTWF. Spring - Summer - Autumn/Fall - Winter - Spring - and so on

><. I just noticed something. I'm being ignored. Can anyone explain why? Depends on if you want the blunt truth, or a hug and me telling you that you're doing fine. xD That's so touching. Just stay away from the closet, Jason. You'll get attention in the RP soon enough.

Cat Assassin thinks the artifact (Precious?) can bring the dead back. Since that one has yet to be confirmed, I hope that doesn't ruin anything.

I have absolutely no clue how Mage Manor is structured. xD; What comes after the main hallway? I'm trying to figure out how to write about Leoness walking around the manor while asking for directions to the kitchen.

Still, it's in the middle of the manor. I'm really not sure where everything else is.

I'm trying to figure out how to write about Leoness walking around the manor while asking for directions to the kitchen. The way I pictured it, if you keep walking straight from the main hallway, you'll eventually reach the kitchen. The first floor is mainly stuff like the library and training rooms, and the actual rooms where the mages live are on the other floors.

Not even the Mages are sure what the Manor's like. XD;; (Myself included!) *checks "Rooms of the Manor" thread*
Hm, the thread says that the dining room is on the ground floor, and near the centre, so... logically, the kitchen would be on the ground floor as well, maybe even adjacent to the dining room. (I know that's the case in my house.)
Of course, given the nature of the Manor it'd be pretty much impossible to map out the entire place, but that information would be relevant to where Leoness's going.

If that object really can raise the dead, Rikku'd have an interest in it for sure, beyond just retrieving it for the Manor. Let's see where this goes.

Actually, where Tamia is is about a day's travel from Castle Kestrel. ^^; She was on her way back to Millsford, which is a small village a couple of days to the west of the Castle -- but still in the country of Dunburrow. Of course, it is autumn, and possibly late autumn and chilly outside, so I don't think it's so strange that there would be a bit of snow on the ground in places.

Cat Assassin thinks the artifact (Precious?) can bring the dead back. Since that one has yet to be confirmed, I hope that doesn't ruin anything. This is just my opinion, but I think it should really only have one purpose, or a few closely connected purposes (i.e., keeping these armies trapped, and keeping them locked in battle). We could keep adding magical properties and abilities to it, but then it would just become a sort of channel through which we can godmode without making it look like godmoding. However, if Cat Assassin thinks that it can resurrect, that might lead to some interesting cross-purposes for all concerned, regardless of whether or not it actually has that ability.

We may as well say it can bake bread and wake you up if you're late for work, too. I've been into 'bloids, and we've discussed that the purpose of the artifact should not be definite. Anyone can guess what the purpose really is, but it's up to Strife (methinks) to decide what it really does. In short, we're all free to guess what it does. No one hasn't tried using it, right?

I think the Manor layout is something everyone should discuss over at the Mages Guild board to avoid further confusion from non-Mages xD
And as for the map of the Guild Lands (as I call it) I remember Keng offered to try mapping it out, though I'm not really sure myself.
