Out of curiosity, how high is the ship right now? I'm assuming it isn't too far above the top of the castle, but I'd like to make sure.

And the irony of today's events is that everyone seemed to like seeing Castle Kestrel explode. I am going to pretend I never saw this and hope it goes away.

I am going to pretend I never saw this and hope it goes away. *patpat* I nearly lost my ship earlier in the roleplay. But hey, I can sell you the gem and you can pimp your castle :3 Bytheway, it's not as bad as people will probably make it look >> I have very little idea what the castle looks like, but the way I see it, the attack only hit one corner and if anything, some towers will crumble, stuff like that. I'm not out to destroy the castle, just bite a little. (And spur a war. And War =3) As for the ship's height, I've always phailed at the meters-vs-yards system, so I can't really tell, I saw it as 'high enough to be out of gunshot, higher than the treetops, and sufficiently away from the castle and explosions' x3

Mwuahahaahhaahha-- Anyways, one yard is approximately one meter (one meter being approximately three feet), although seeing as how I'm uncertain at the moment if you're actually measuring the HEIGHT of the ship or HOW HIGH IT IS FLYING (if it even is flying, although it sounds to me like quite a plausible possibility), but either way, units of measurement are usually constant. At least, I've never seen meters inflated before, but I might be wrong. If that latter, any height is probably either high enough or still too low (xD), but if with the former, a quick search on Wikipedia could yield some fruitful (and seafaring ~_^) results. Hmm.... I just found this site, not sure if it's worth anything or not, but some o' ye might find it in'eresting.

I should've asked this a long time but...
What's with the mist long ago that inhibited Bluisa from going? I need an answer ASAP; otherwise, I'll invent my own.

That's from Hunty's gem-induced pimpation of the Weewoo. That actually didn't answer my question. I need to know why it stopped Bluisa from whatever she was doing while in it. EDIT: On a side note, remind me to godmod people-rejecting mists next time. It's so sad to see something being done and being so helpless just to watch.

I suggest you ask her. ^_^

I need to know why it stopped Bluisa from whatever she was doing while in it. What'd you expect? x3 Long story short, the mist is the ship. Everything on the ship is part of the ship, the mist included. And it's a more-or-less sentinent being. Meaning that when Bluisa attempted to merge with the mist, it was pretty much the same thing as someone poking the ship in the eye without warning. It could feel it, and it classified as trespassing on the highest level. Violation of privacy, simply put.

Bluisa still screams 'Racism' at all of you, though. EDIT: A little bit off-topic, but I have to say this. The longer my characters have to watch as something significant unfolds, the more tempted I get to godmod. Nothing too serious about that, but meh.

By the looks of it, you pirates are destroying it, no matter how hard you deny it. Combined with the anger your characters have for the knights, it won't take long before you actually plan on destroying the castle. ... I get the feeling the Mages Manor's up next.

Combined with the anger your characters have for the knights, it won't take long before you actually plan on destroying the castle. ... I get the feeling the Mages Manor's up next. Lady Logic gets in the way xDD 1) We don't have the means to destroy the castle. We have lemon bombs, probably spiked with gunpowder (I wasn't sure how Speck sees them, so I put that part in.) Kestrel is a big stone castle. It'd take a few sticks of dynamite on the foundation to bring down only one wall, and we dropped a bomb on top, which doesn't do much to a castle by default. 2) If we destroyed the castle, there wouldn't be anything to siege (OOC-wise) and Ikkin would have my guts for dessert (RP-wise). 3) We had a reason to attack the castle. But there's no reason to attack the Manor, as it supported us earlier (and we have even less means for that). As for watching how significant things unfold: first off, the ship would've let you in if you hadn't trespassed, and secondly, I don't see why you'd have to watch. There are many things going on at once, and we've already seen what flocking does to the roleplay. The more spread out we are, the better for us. The ship isn't the only thing to aim at. I see a sad lack of Knights in the roleplay, the Manor seems to be asleep, and the forest is full of people to run into. Multiple plotlines would keep this thing going better, because that spreads things out and gives more chances for people to post instead of waiting for the posts of people who are currently in the center of attention.
