I couldn't give a straight answer because I wasn't sure what currency was used in the NTWF and what qualifies as a lot XD

I couldn't give a straight answer because I wasn't sure what currency was used in the NTWF and what qualifies as a lot XD That's what I thought, really. XDDDDDD ...Perhaps we should decide on that one of these days. Last I knew, though, the NTWF currency is shinies. >_> As in these: Don't know what qualifies as a lot, though.

Cyborg, Leraye took one of your squirrels hostage in an attempt to get them and the Meepits to fight. Mainly because he's bored. Just thought you might want to know, since you seem to have missed it.

Le gasp. I actually did math for that post. Well, actually I asked my sister how to calculate it and used a calculator. But shh. >_>Buying Rum For Five Years: How Much it Costs
$2,085 - cheap rum, every week $3,910 - regular rum, every week $7,300 - cheap rum, every two days $13,687 - regular rum, every two days $14,600 - cheap rum, every day $27,375 - regular rum, every day

[glow=red,2,300]Back during the days of the NTWF Cafe, I guesstimated a shiny at about ten American cents, but I think that's a bit low. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Back during the days of the NTWF Cafe, I guesstimated a shiny at about ten American cents, but I think that's a bit low. [/glow] In the Spacefleet Gift Shop, I think I tried to make one shiny roughly $1 US. And we decided in that same thread that there's a 1:1 exchange rate between shinies and credits. I looked for rum prices online (read: googled it and clicked on the top link), and the cheapest price I found for a 1 liter bottle of 80 proof rum was $9 US. At Keng's rate of one bottle per week (I'm going to call it a liter bottle, because a keg is 15.5 gallons, and there's no way anyone could possibly drink that much rum in a week without dying), you'd get about $2348 US per month, whatever the equivalent is in shinies or credits. At Cyborg's rate of one bottle every two days, you'd get about $8217 US per month (which would be a fantastic salary in outsidecomputerland). And that's just using the price of the cheapest rum I could find. I'd go for it.

...Hmm. How many people are at the Manor now? *phails at keeping track of things* 'cos Rikku's going to wake up shortly, and she'll want to head for an authority figure.

At the risk of being presumptuous, were you going to say you had gotten said technology from Fraze's skinsuit cloak? Because if so, I should mention that Fraze had gotten it well before he joined Spacefleet. You know, just for the sake of avoiding continuity errors and all that. Negative. The phase-shifters are cobbled together from basic parts mostly, and a few slightly more advanced alloys. I wasn't sure exactly what kind of defenses the ships would have. Is this good?

And the irony of today's events is that everyone seemed to like seeing Castle Kestrel explode.
*sighs* Better start being the Devil's Advocate again... *puts on roleplaying shorts*
