... Keng. It's a figure of speech. xD Right now at least. Our bond will get more complicated later in the plot, to the point where it's like my persona description says. If you've ever seen Dragonheart, think of it that way. [spoilerhead=Dragonheart]So who gets to be the evil prince, and who gets to be the dragon that cons villages?

[spoilerhead=Dragonheart]Neither. I'm just referring to the concept of our hearts being merged, and whenever one of us is attacked, the other suffers the same pain no matter where they are.
Everything but head and hands are shiny, since my head and hands are the only parts of my body showing. I don't really want to look silvery to everyone.

So how come we started with everyone dropping things, finding shinies, and crashing into things? We should call this "Guild Wars 2: Guilds of Hazzard" or "Guild Wars 2: The Shiny Diaries". Ack, I hadn't expected anyone to find me out there, Shino. xD No worries, though, I can still work with this. For future reference, the mysterious character in my most recent post is an NPC, but if it's alright, I'd like to control him for a little while. I'll join as a conspirator, 'cause I'm not too sure about my own RPing skills. Also, don't swat me for finally deciding on Farmer Bob's Mysterious Shiny Item. Somebody had to do it, darnit! The only thing is that, assuming we were at least beginning based on Kit's suggestion, the shiny item in the bag is some sort of artefact(s) once owned by the NTWF's founding mage. ^^; Of course, there's nothing saying that we have to stick to Kit's idea, but I think a lot of people were building the story up in that direction. As well, the bag had apparently been buried... unless you have an explanation for that already? I dunno. Yes, while I assumed it was an NPC character you were reffering ot in your post, I also assumed that you would respond well to my returning in your area. Plus I do liek the "dark strangers" appearance because you can still incorporate your wonderful idea and make it so RP-esque. Since the attack on his life, The Commander had not left his office. As usual, he continued to stand next to his giant window and admire the view of the planet he adored so much. The sun was beginning to peek out from under the planet's edge, illuminating his office in warm light. The intense sunlight added golden streaks to his short, jet black hair. His eyes, which glowed blood red in darkness, appeared much healthier and normal in the light. He scratched the small goatee of hair on his chin with his black-gloved hand. If Strife gets to scratch his goatee, I want to stroke my beard.

If Scar gets to scratch his goatee, I want to stroke my beard. Again, that's Strife. Our names are different and of a different colour y'know I should change my name to Xzarkys or something so no one confuses me with Strife -_- And Fraze definitely needs to use a few Silver Surfer lines for fun sometime xD

0_o Where did those dark magicks come from? *rubs head from pain* I want to know that too. My first impression was that Fraze hopped onto his dropship and had actually left the planet before he discovered the artifact in the bag. Got confused there for a moment. xD; Since the artifact appears to have summoned a lightning bolt, perhaps the artifact is to blame for destroying Farmer Bob's crops the previous night, and the mage who was punished didn't really do it and was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.

At first, I got all the way back to the dropship before noticing the other object. Then I decided that that wouldn't be fair to other RPers who might want to keep this arc going. So I edited my post, ending when I was halfway back to the dropship, so other people could pursue if they wanted to.

I find it funny that it was easier to get Hades involved than Shade. 'course, that's probably because I'm waiting for Wolf to reply to Ikkin before I bring Shade in. And I'd forgotten how fun it was to write up posts for Guild Wars. xD
Oh, and I would have waited longer to join, but Fen sort of egged me on.

Unnecessary angst is fun. >_>
And seeing as the other mercs are posting their intros, perhaps I should write up something for Jernath. XDD *ponders*
...On another note... since I was thinking about it, are we still going for the whole winter thing? 'Cause I haven't noticed any mentions of snow or anything yet.

It seems to be autumn, right now, considering the mention of to-be-harvested crop. So either we're not going into it or we'll get into it later. (but considering that last guild war spanned... 3 days I think? It'd doubtful ^^; ) (There's still the possibility of the gem creating a magical winter however, as it seem to affect the weather somehow *nod* *nod* )

Youknow guys, methinks we need to decide on the essence - and looks - of the artifact one of these days. By the looks of things, it'll turn into the main reason of this war and is probably gonna be some sort of an ultra-powerful magical weapon.
Which means that once a number of guilds (Spacefleet and Pirates, at this point) want to get their hands on the shiny, hereby referred to as Precious, there should be an easy way to conceal its magic, otherwise the Mages could track it down and grab it back whenever they want, if I got this right.
...dibs on the army of Oathbreakers :3
*shot*
As for winter, the set can still change, right? Carrying the aforesaid Precious to Hadara- *smack'd* I mean, if the pirates get their hands on it and sail away, then we can end up just about anywhere and the others can track us down there.

XDDDDD;; Warped RP time FTW. Ooh, a magical winter sounds like it could be cool. I'm for that suggestion.

There must be a magical winter, for I will not be content until I can pelt my enemies with snowballs.
So according to Dragon's journal, since information found in random journals is always accurate, the artifact is: -5 in. by 3 in. by 2 in. (12.5 cm by 7.5 cm by 5 cm) - blackish-purple, or iridescent, but if you look at it right, it's all the colors and none. (I'm picturing an artifact that, if you look at it right, is black and white checked. XD) - strong dark or light magic and: - once was used in a massive battle against the NTWF - caused the battlefield to go pitch dark - made all of the armies vanish - potentially has these armies locked in time, fighting.
Opinions on this?
