Hey, Captain Hunty, where are the pirates as of now? According to Kat's post, docked somewhere. Makes it easier to spread news that way too, we'd be way too isolated when seafaring. Perhaps in a cove near some village, waiting for high tide, stocking provision. Not sure how exactly the news would reach us, though. My meepitses aren't international spies.

xD I wasn't exactly serious when I said 'Farmer Bob'... but what the heck. It's as good an NPC name as any, I guess.
I also forgot to mention earlier, but I was also very impressed with your opener, Strife. ^_^ There's going to be lots of opportunities to get involved in this one, I think.
... The only problem is, now whenever you post, I expect you to reveal a new dance number.

To put in my grain of salt, RP or not, this is the forum. News or even rumors of a great artifact being discovered are BOUND to get around, and quickly at that x3 Also, I believe that, even if this follow Kit's "possible-scenario" so far, we're free to do whatever we want. Much of people's intro posts have focused about the great peace reigning currently and the efforts to that end, so I think it would be quite awkward if that peace stopped so suddenly, like in Kit's scenario. At least as far as the Mages/Knights/Ninjas are concerned. (There's too few Ninjas for them to risk doing anything, unless they manage to hire ALL of the Merc available, and you pirates are scoundrel so I can't really say anything about you x3 )

Atleast from the Ninjas-Pirates end, there's never been a peace to speak of. I'd say all the guilds really need is getting together, and old rivalries and other issues would instantly pop up again. (Who wants to bring up an issue along the lines of What You Said About Aunt Edna at Cousin Sally's Wedding once the guilds meet? xD) Time will tell, I suppose.

Then, after the "What You Said About Aunt Edna at Cousin Sally's Wedding" incident, we can break out into "What is this Feeling" from Wicked...

I agree. And the fact that we have a couple of new guilds joining the fray is going to make things even more interesting. I don't think the Knights and the Mercenaries, given their individual ethical codes, will need much of an excuse to be at each other's throats.

I agree with the Ninja/Pirate thing, but quite honestly, the Ninjas have nowhere NEAR the number of member needed to create havoc as it stand currently xD; And any direct attack of the Pirate to the Ninja would end instantly into a Pirate victory, if only because of the number advantage. Also I personally at least believe that if things were really that instable, the Mage destroying a Farmer's crop would've already caused a lot of trouble. At least, that's my opinion. As you said, we'll see how things go in due time ^^

Then, after the "What You Said About Aunt Edna at Cousin Sally's Wedding" incident, we can break out into "What is this Feeling" from Wicked... I have a feeling the Guilds War RP is turning into the Guilds War Musical xDDD And I think PFA and Vyt are perfectly capable of holding the ninja's side. I mean ninjas are meant to be sneaky and cunning so low numbers shouldn't matter x3 ... *imagines PFA and Vyt putting up ninja cardboard cut-outs at every window in the dojo* PFA: They'll never suspect a thing!

I don't think the Knights and the Mercenaries, given their individual ethical codes, will need much of an excuse to be at each other's throats. That does make sense, actually. The way I predict it, the Knights would rival with the Mercs because of their opposite ethics, the Mages would rival with Spacefleet because of their opposite grasp of technology, and the Pirates would rival with the Ninjas because of... well, because they just will. xD Anything could happen though. It'll be interesting to see what really happens in the long run.

Yeah, so far we seem to have... two ninjas? XDDD;; Which is really quite pitiful.
But as Scar said, it doesn't matter because ninjas pwn anyway. >_> *flees from cutlasses* And if all else fails, there are mercenaries. And possibly NPCs.
