[glow=red,2,300]The thing about killing off mains, secondaries, what have you is that we do have a Phoenix ex Machina. It's not like we can't re-use any characters that die. Dying is just a minor inconvenience. How many people died in the last GW, after all?
So, it might sound like a silly question, but what is the difference between an RP and a collabrotive story? Not saying this to be a smart-donkey, it's a legit question.[/glow]

Not saying this to be a smart-donkey, it's a legit question.[/glow] Um, I think I might have explained that before. A collaborative story is ultimately plot-centric, meaning all the characters act according to a somewhat preplanned plot. With a collaborative story, people get together and plan bits of the story before actually writing anything. A roleplay is character-centric, meaning the actual plot of it changes according to the characters. This also means that it is up to the characters to drive the plot. Like what GW2 has been trying to be. There is nothing much planned out, and it can go anywhere depending on the characters. It gives for unexpected things to happen. But the problem was that in GW2, most people were just reacting, and not doing much to contribute.

[glow=red,2,300]Oh yeah, i remember you typing that in your other thread. ^_^; I'm going to go slink into a corner of shame because I'm a lazy bum.
... Only, I don't think i'll make it all the way to the corner. 'cause I'm a lazy bum. XD
*kick'd* x_o
EDIT: This post doesn't leave any room for reaction whatsoever, but think of it as a nod and a wink left by a girl who can't stay at the computer long. XD[/glow]

I love you. *hugs* *coughs* I think two things that would help are PMs between people in similar areas or plot arcs or whatnot, and if people would keep putting up the little (()) tag with where they are that would help. Edit- And Rider? "Worth it's weight in light?" How much exactly does light weigh? XD

The past few pages of the OOC chat have given me some stuff to think about. I admit that I haven't contributed all that much to the RP, aside from causing general trouble for other people. Particularly Strife. *Mischievous grin* Realizing this, I thought briefly about leaving the RP altogether so that I wouldn't get in other people's way, but decided that would be a bit too emo of me. However, I think I will be posting on it less frequently--at least until the thwackery and beating-people-with-pointy-stuff starts. 'Cause I look forward to that part of it. EDIT: [glow=red,2,300]Rider smiled. How could she ever have thought of retiring?[/glow] Because falling out of trees is just SO fun?

Plus Sev is unlikely to resurrect anyone who was trying to kill his team. I have no problem with using him, but resurrecting someone every battle will kinda kill the mood.

Well, my usual thing with Sev is to only use him when it's over. That way, hostilities are ended, so there's no one who he'd snub, and the mood is only killed at the end (which we want to be our normal cheesy happy ending anyway, right?). Which means, keep it nighttime, so Sev can resurrect you at the end.

Yeah, there have been a lot of mysterious fractures in time that make certain things take forever and others take no time at all, and there's also been quite a bit of sitting around, doing the finger-twiddly thing. I'm not accusing anyone or pointing fingers, since I've been a pretty great finger-twiddler so far. Sorry. ^__^;
The thing is, I kinda like this story so far, even if it isn't technically a roleplay in the truest sense of the words. It has some neat characters in it so far, and interesting ideas. Also, it'll make everyone feel like they've wasted their time if we just let it flop all together, so probably the best thing to do is keep posting, making it up as we go. A bit more action will probably be fun... ^__^

Like I said, someone had to die. ^^; Maybe. I dunno if it was the right thing to, but I thought so at the time. ... >.> ... Why, did I miss one? xD; *confused* I sent you a couple. xD And I kinda suspected it. :3 You write the same way. ... Oh, I read those. ^^; I just didn't reply for some reason... although now I wish I had; maybe I wouldn't have made a certain stupid mistake if I'd have run through it with someone else first. D: Sorry. And I can only repeat: >.> Although I still find it rather amazing that you and Kit were the first ones in four years to figure it out... xD

And so, uh--err, something begins? The plot definitely sickens, anyway.
And at this rate, everything will be over by the time Strife and I get to the action. *Shifty eyes* Strife, you can just godmode me over to the (now ex-) meeting when you go, if you want to.

Beautiful triple death posts you two. I feel like there's something to work up from now. Like the pieces on the chess board are moving again after a long stare off of trying to decide which move to take next.

Like the pieces on the chess board are moving again after a long stare off of trying to decide which move to take next. And it only took the deaths of a third of the Knights' Guild and one poor Spacefleet merc to do it. xD

I've updated the Persona List to include who is dead and who has yet to post in the RP.
