I'm taking it that my legs are frozen to the floor, but I'm still alive. It's kinda like...I know I've seen it in cartoons on TV...I thnk in an earlier episode of Avatar, Katara froze people's legs in ice like Shino has frozen mine. It might not be his initial intention...but that's how I'm interpreting it for my next post. But...yes...that post did seem to be a bit typo-ridden and hard to understand...Excuse my typos...Although I don't meant to be, I am the King of Typos. I usually don't use Spellcheck either. I'll get into that habit, I guess. Correct, Wolf is frozen to the floor. Sorry if my posts are hard to understand. I've heard that from at least five people who I've role-played with. What can I say? Oh, & Kit? Don't get any funny ideas. The shadow ninjas are mine. Or more like Theirs. But that's not for you guys & ladies to know yet. Psh. I don't need a horde of disposable minions to sow the seeds of doubt which lead to war. All I need is one strategically placed corpse, although I have a feeling it would turn into a furball like the earlier clash. Edit:: I love conveniently placed corpses. :3 |

Kit, if the ninja and the knights were in a war about six months ago, then those knights would have been the knights of the declining kingdom before the KoNTWF came and took up the crown (thus, the Knights became an active guild ^_^ and I love backstory).
So...not that it should affect the roleplay much, because after all, when we took the kingdom, we took the bad, too, (we "inherited" their feuds, to end or continue, so to say), but it's worth mentioning.

..I never thought of that. Also, since the disappearances were over the course of six months, not just only six months ago, they have been happening even after the new guild came into form.
I just wanted a reason to pit the knights against another guild and the earlier corpse was rather handy. xDD

Regarding mysterious person in mage manor who thonked me in the head, he has no magical signature, for the simple reason he posseses absolutely no magic. Keng only has a magical signature because of the werewolf in her blood, which is actually a weird mixture of bacteria, virus, which has a slight amount of magic in it, though there's enough bacterial-virus for it's presence to be noticeable to other magical beings, though only as possesion of magic on some level not "zomgwerewolfvibe!".
I don't really know where I'm taking this guy, feel free to use him/her/it yourself.

Well, my magical signature sense, as I generally see it, works on normal non-magical people as well, since there's some magic in everyone if they knew how to pull it out.  But, being non-magical would certainly help him hide it anyway, methinks... I'm thinking that it might be neat if we could connect the lack of magical signature to his ability to get into Mage Manor without an invitation (something that normal non-magical people can't do). I also want to connect it with Shino, but I know I can't do that. XD |

Actually Ikkin, I was thinking that whoever this guy is, his very complete lack of magic is his biggest advantage over those who have magic. Normally having magic is considered more powerful than not having it, and one would expect that the person that can launch fireballs would have the advantage over someone 10ft away and waving nothing but a dagger, I think he might of found someway to reverse that 'advantage'. ((I think my character that I made up might have... XD))
And yea, I think he (*gives in and makes it a he*) should be linked to Shino in some way, but shino will need to give permission for that and give the character a little push.

Yeah... a non-magic user who trains all his potential magic away, as opposed to training it for use, and in that way become virtually invisible to magical senses... that's a pretty fun idea. ^_^ I like it. *hopes Shino'll be willing to run with him* |

Oohh, trained it away, that's a neat concept. I just figured he would have been born without it, but the whole training thing makes him seem more malicious or like he has more purpose.
... he might get a name edventually.
And yea, I was thinking around the invisible thing. He could effectively sneak up on mages/magic users more effectively than even shadow. I'd imagine any protective spells on the manor would be attuned to take note of magical signatures wether it's owner made use of it or not. One without any magic at all, would be seen as no more than a rock as far as that defenses might be concerned.
Add to that some non-magical based stealth abilities, and you've actually got a pretty dangerous fellow on your hands. Even keng, who has hightened senses even when out of werewolf form (though not to the same degree, and mostly in hearing and smell, hence the funny smell coming off him part, which really only Keng or someone with a similar or higher sense of smell would notice, and once again, only when up close.)
