Yeah, um, I know it's kinda frowned upon to revive months-dead threads and all, but I was just thinking about GW and thinking we should get it ended ASAP. So I can finish the movie and whatnot.  So... we still need to wrap up the whole Shino thing, and then have some kind of end to the whole thing outside, with Ikkin and all them. Now I don't have any ideas for the outside thing... but as for the Shino thing. Since Shino doesn't really come to the NTWF anymore, well... would there be any objections to just leaving him dead?  ; I mean, I don't really see the point of reviving him if he's not going to be around, anyway. So... yeah. Let me know if there are any objections. I also still have Shino's email, so I can ask him what he thinks about it if you guys want me to. |

I personally agree on the just leave dead thing. It simplifies the matter beautifully. If he does decide to return well, people who were supposed to be dead randomly show up perfectly alive and well all the time. He'll just have to make up some sort of other-worldly-cosmic-phenomenom excuse it all. Like some shiny light lady named Oma 'ascended' him to a higher plain of existance but after hanging out there for a year he couldn't follow the rules and got kicked out of the shiny super powered beings club decided he missed being a knight and returned to his mortal form.

Yes- personally, I think we shouldn't have the amazing time-shift thing, because that would just complicate matters a lot.
Could we have something where it was all an illusion created by the manor? Like, Wolf sees the horror that leaving Shino alive would have caused, or how Shino was posessed and should be left dead, or something? A bittersweet sort of ending, yes, but still an end.

Funny that I should see this all here just now. Earlier today, I read back a few posts I'd put on my AlphaSmart a couple days ago and then wrote up an end to that scene, an end that I believe shall be satisfying to all parties involved. It does mess with the time continuum just a little bit, but not enough to make any major repercussions. In actually, it ends rather...well, I'll let you all see for yourself. Trust me, being a dedicated Zelda fan, messed-up timelines don't startle me. And so...allow me to proofread it one last time and it'll be up. :) Understandibly, this ending does affect the timeline in a small way. That is, a lot of conversation that occurred after Shino's death might not have happened with Wolf's presence. However, as the means are justified by the end in this case, it can be easily stated that the same knowledge would have been perceived both times. After all, if the Manor merely changed the events, it didn't necessarily change the perception of the events by those partaking them. That is, think HP3 the Movie. The past proceeded as it did because the future selves affected it accordingly. In this case, the future proceeds as it did because the past selves affected it accordingly.
In other words, there was no other satisfactory way to end it without rewriting things.
Lastly, if the Ikkin/outside scene is concluded in typical RP fashion, or if it's intended to be a "reunion" scene to finish it off with all RPers present, Wolf and Taa'kan can certainly join it after they leave the Manor. |

Wolf- Or it could still be all a hallucination- like Dumbledore says, you know- just because it's all in your head doesn't mean it's not real. *shot*
Anyway, let's have a nice summary reunion scene.
As much as I know you all are dying to know the conclusion of the dramatic Zylaa-smacking-into-Goosh scene, I hereby give Ikkin or some other summarizer permission to godmode me.
What suitably sappy conclusion should we give this? ^_^

Spacefleet is ubducting the characters who haven't been given an ending yet so there's a reason for their scenes to just suddenly be cut off; it's because suddenly the character(s) just plain isin't(aren't) there anymore; Spacefleet came down with a flying scaucer and beamed them up.

I was thinking, since this Guild Wars has ended, maybe this thread and the summary thread should also be moved to Memory Lane, or at least locked and left to settle as archival records here?
