I'm not trying to be picky.
But could we have a guild reset or something?
There's a ton of people who know both the ninja and pirate guild passwords. And theres a ton of people who signed up, were active for a few weeks or so, and are completely dead right now in the guilds.
Frankly, right now, the guilds are a waste of space, and something needs to happen with them. Maybe after NaNo's over.
*shrugs* Just an idea, Hunty or maybe it was someone else, suggested that there be one day where we all open the guilds to everyone for a guild 'war'.

I agree. I remember when the guilds first opened there were talks of guild wars and the like. I for one would like to see more happen with them. It'd get me more involved in them for sure.

Well there is The Ultimate Pirates Vs Ninja Thread, which is still going It's just that it's usually just one or two people going at it at a time. Which is good, since no one gets all lost in the posts... But still. Of course, a complete reset might ruin what some of the guilds have all ready done within them.

Anyway, let's see after NaNo. Right now the guilds are supposed to be dead because a lot of NTWFers are doing NaNo.[/shadow]

I agree. I mean, I don't know if I'm the only one, but I've become inactive simply because I haven't seen, well, a lot of people post. A guild reset's not a terrible idea.

...well, I can see the advantage in opening the Guilds to the public, though I'm not sure that's the best idea. Password-protected boards seem to get ignored really easily.
I don't think we should 'reset' and wipe out all we've done, though. But a guild war sounds good (and, actually, was something we'd hoped for from the beginning). ^_^

Why reset? Okay, the guilds are kinda dead now but they still went through a lot of activeness and I once had loads of fun rereading the whole Pirates RP. Yush, the opening-guilds-for-all idea was mine, though my idea was more towards the lines of an open doors´ day, just to show the guilds to non-members as they\'re all inactive anyway and it would be fun to see what the others have been up to, methinks.
(is totally not a creepy sneaky pirate spy >>)
There isn´t a possibility for some read-only mode, is there...? Though I kinda doubt that the non-members would blow the places up and spam the threads if the guilds are opened. I have more faith in you guys than that x3

It would help if there was a way to keep nonmembers from posting though. But I never heard of it I've heard of usergroups and this password system thats going on now. But It could be used to gain more members.

If you want to open them to non-password protected, get your guild officers to institute a punishment to all members who begin posting in another guild's thread. And then enforce it.

Guild reset- no. I know I'm currently inactive in both Mage and Pirate guilds, but that's because I don't really see any one else being active, which could be a problem.
So I agree with a guild war. Letting the doors down. Though, I trust that no one will spam. Well, not the ninjas. Can't really trust them. *kunai'd*
As for now, I think we should wait for NaNo to be over, then take a poll after that.
