Background info on Pixel Wolves
Pixel Wolves, or Polvels, are tiny wolves that are just as intelligent as humans, if not more so. They can come in practically every color, and they can change colors by a simple use of an essence, although mixing different essences is usually required to achieve the color they want.
It is very fashionable for Polvels to also add their own spots or stripes, as well as changing their underbelly color. Polvels, due to their extreme intelligence, are capable of determining the exact color they want by mixing different essences. The resulting essences may be used by that Polvel or may be sold to another Polvel. Frequent haggling is the result, and sometimes trading occurs between Polvels.
Polvels use tokens for currency—a golden coin with a “T” engraved on it.
Rules and Information
I will begin with a batch of ten Polvels, so that I do not have to release another batch for a while and we can get into the flow of things. When requesting a Polvel, please state its number and what you decide to name it.
Each Polvel adopted automatically starts with 100 tokens. Although this isn’t much, it is enough to buy one primary essence to get you started. I will be giving out tokens often with contests, lotteries, and random events, so don’t worry; you’ll soon have enough tokens to start mixing essences, which brings me to my next point.
In order to mix essences, you must have purchased at least two primary essences, an empty bottle or vial (bottles for essences, potions, and draughts, vials for lessers), and stirring sticks. Then you must request to mix the essences in a post, and state which essences you are mixing, including all the items you will be using. For example, if I were to mix an Essence of Blue with an Essence of Yellow, here is what I would post:
Although Stirring Sticks are permanent, I would prefer it if you posted that you are using those, just so I can double check that you own them. Once you have mixed the essences the primary essences are destroyed, and Empty Bottle becomes a secondary essence:
Essence of Black and Essence of White, when used, simply lighten or darken your Polvel’s color. When mixed with other essence, it darkens the resulting essence’s color. Quite simple, really. When Essence of Black is mixed with Essence of White, the resulting color is gray, which will completely change your Polvel’s color instead of lightening it or darkening it, just like primary and secondary essences.
Please remember that when mixing essences you may use a minimum of two essences and a maximum of four. I don’t want to get too confused with the resulting color. xD Also, all the rules and information for the mixing of essences applies to potions, draughts, and lessers. Like I said, it’s not too difficult.
Once you have created a secondary essence you have three choices. (1)Use it on your Polvel. (2)Sell it to another user. (3)Trade it with another user.
USING: Simply post that you would like to use the essence on your Polvel.
SELLING: Post that you have an Essence of _______ for sale (or whatever item you are selling), and state the price. I may create a section for advertisements, but we’ll see. Once you find a buyer, please state who is buying what item, and for what price. If you are the buyer, state what item you are buying, who owns it, and what price you are buying it for. The more specifics you use, the better.
TRADING: Post that you have an Essence of _______ (or whatever item it is), and state that you are interested in trading for something else. If you see someone who has an item that you want, simply PM them or post offering your item. Just be sure to post who’s trading and for what item(s) once you’ve finalized the deal, so I can edit your inventory.
I will try to update at least every few days for color changes, token giveaways, and other updates, but obviously I have a real life as well, so sometimes I won’t be able to get on for a longer period of time. I am going on a mission trip from July 13th to July 23rd, so I will be unable to access the internet that entire time.
