I posted that theory too, or something very similar but minus the baloons.

*Looks wistfully at the mini-Spots frolicking around with their new owners, the studious mini-Chelseys, and even the sadistic mini-Lycoses* I know! *pulls a small piece of black cloth from his pocket, and tosses it to the ground while saying the command word, "crater". As if by magic (well, by magic actually) the cloth expands and opens into a portable hole filled with all maner of... junk. Tossing aside old bicycle wheels, mechanical pencils (without any lead left), and a kitchen sink or two, Keldor digs through in search of... something* Confound it! I have everything in here, even the kitchen sink - and yet - NO TENT! How on earth am I supposed to make camp without a tent?! [Two hours later] *The junk pile had, over the last hour, taken on quite precarious proportions as Keldor dug deeper and deeper into the portable hole. Finally, with a great leap of joy, Keldor exclaimed, "Ah-ha! I found it!". It has been said by the peoples of the Lost Desert that contrary to conventional wisdom, the snows of Terror Mountain are not the only things to fall in avalanches, that indeed, the desert sands sometimes may give at the slightest provocation, buring whole caravans of imported sweet-meats and paint brushes. However, there are materials beyond even sand and snow which may give. We call these "landslides", "mudslides", and sometimes "dam-breaks". In rare cases, we see what are known as "junk-slides". This was one of those cases.* I found it! I KNEW I had a tent in he-YEARGH! *CRASH!!!!*
*The pit full of junk had lain still for as long as anyone could remember (it's a good thing that flys only have 2-minute memories). Suddenly, something moved - a hand reached forth from the loose debries, grasping for the afternoon air. The arm followed, and before long, a rather worse-for-wear figure climbed out of the pitful of junk.*
I REALLY need to organize this stuff some time.
Let's see. The camp ground is over there. *Sets up his tent* There! That should do nicely. Now, where did I leave that sleeping bag? *Looks toward the hole* Oh yeah... well, um, I guess I'll just have to do with a bed of moss and leaves.
*Keldor went over to the pit and breathed a command word. As if by magic (Not this again!), the pit appeared to somehow flatten itself, and reduced back into a piece of black cloth. Keldor pocketed the cloth and went on looking for leaves and moss to make a bed with.*
Now, I just have to wait for the next batch to show up...

*Rorik and Warlock stand watching the entire Keldor disaster. Rorik blinks at Warlock. Warlock blinks and Rorik*
*eventually, Rorik yawns* Huh. A writer do you think?
*Warlock inclines his head and considers the junk-pile carnage* It's a possibility.
*Warlock wanders across to the camping grounds and hands Keldor a blanket* The moss around here is a bit on the soggy side. Im affraid you'll be waiting for a while, my friend. Spot has gone AWOL it seems, and power to her.
*Rorik, a mini-lycos, steps forward with a bored looking yawn*In other words, oh magic one, you're invited to eat with us to save you from the hazards of excessive posessions.

*Takes the blanket* Thank you. Sounds like we'll have a lot of chance to get to know each other while we wait ^^. Oh, I might mention that I inherited the portable hole from a rather eccentric wizard, who apparently liked to collect... stuff. I would have dumped it, but I'm afraid I'd land a huge fine for littering. That, and all this stuff could come in useful if I end up in a dungeon or something. A distinct possibility around here.
Anyway, I'd love to join you for dinner, breakfast, or whatever mealtime it is around here.

Well I can always conjure stuff. I am the boards resident mage at the mo it seems, no-one else seems to want the title...
Of course, maybe we should have some fish to see if any mini-spots turn up?

An excellent idea! Hmm... fresh catfish, fried with a thin breading... I doubt any mini-spot could resist. Of course, I doubt I could either. I guess we'll just have to cook extra so that there's plenty for all!

You people make me feel so guilty for vanishing. <.<;;
'Kay, here's the situation: Spot is currently taking the position of stay-at-home nurse, since my mom went through surgery last week. When I'm not doing that, I have my internship at TG Graphics, in the hopes that if I learn enough now, then I'll be able to get paid for a few jobs eventually. I also have to make sure I get my portfolio assembled and online, as I'm hoping for scholarship money from that, and I need it done so I can transfer credit from prior classes. Therefore, art free time has been reduced a lot. When I do get to work on art, there's another project that has taken priority at the moment. So, let's write it this way:
The mini-spot adoption shop, among other things in the tabloid shop, was heavily damaged by the mysterious earthquake that swept throughout the forum, trapping the mods. The tabloid shop required evacuation and is currently under restoration so that it can upgrade from condemned status again. However, with murder running rampant, it is assumed that its best to put repairs on hold until the perpetrator is caught.
So, can you solve the NTWF murder mystery?
- mini-spot shop predicted to return towards end of murder mystery plot -
