The Invent-an-Item Contest is finished! Everyone who joined now has an additional 500 Paws in their inventory. ^^ I got some pretty interesting entries (wonder why I never thought of making such items myself...) and 'twas hard to choose so I've decided to give three major prizes! And the winners are... Third Place Goes to: Dream Item: The Hover Fly Price: 400-500 Paws Description: I ain't never seen a critter fly... until now, that is? Looks like: a little item of jewellery (necklace? Brooch?) in the form of a silver insect with shimmery wings. Effect: The Hover Fly makes your critter hover! Your critter, wearing the silver fly, will now be suspended in the air, with its shadow somewhere below it on the ground. Its pose may be changed slightly to accommodate the fact that it doesn't have to stand on its paws any more. Prize: 800 Paws Second Place Goes to: Tay Name of Item: Activities/Hobbies/Sports Price: 800 or so? It seems reasonable. Description: This would be a whole category for items. However, if you want a specific one, you can use sewing, soccer, swimming, writing, poetry, etc. You could buy a new activity/hobby for your critter, and it would change what they like and how they look. ^^; Prize: 1000 Paws And...FIRST PLACE goes to: Nim Name of Item: Chaos Ball Price: 1000 paws Description: Randomly changes your critter into a basic colored (but still accessorized) other critter species. (Could also be used by you to introduce new species, if you wanted to.) For example, a pink penguin with yellow ear clips could be turned into the starting colored puppy with yellow ear clips; or a starting color kitty with yellow ear clips. Looks like a ball, full of many pastel, swirly colors. Prize: 1500 Paws Also, the Chaos Ball (sorry, didin't quite follow Nim's description  ) has been turned into an item that your Critters can use. You can buy it for 1000 Paws at the Magic Aisle. In the following days, besides a new batch of Critters being released, I will also turn some of the other contest entries into honest-to-goodness items.   Chaos Ball1000 Paws One use only. Randomly turns your Critter's species into another species. Rumour has it that if used with a Wishing Star, you will be able to request which species your Critter will turn into.

Wow! Lots of ideas I would have never thought of. I really like that sports idea... and the flying one. *visions of angelic critters flying amuck*
I think I'm going to be brave, and buy and use a Chaos ball. I'll let you suprise me with the species. *holds breath*
I figure since I was the one crazy enough to think of it, I should be the first one to try it.

Your Critter gets dizzy and spins around the room. After about five minutes, the frenzied spinning stops...
It seems as if Tami has turned into a kitten.I turned the bow orange. p:p Purple just doesn't look good on a black kitten. ^^ |
