Maisie is back at work again, all smart in her uniform. She is running a little late and hurries into the library. She flings open the door sending a mini dust-tornado down the hallway. The lights are on but there's no one home, apparently, and so once again she sets to work, this time cleaning the carpets. They are truly filthy. Clearly the Marvir library has not been cleaned thoroughly in a while!
Later in the day she begins to polish some of the shelves. In doing so, she finds some very interesting books- "Meeting Marivr, Your Guide to Society", "Markets in Marville", "How to have a Marville-ous day!". Maisie finds that she'd rather like to know about these things and flicks through some of the pages, feeling guilty for slacking off but interested nonetheless.
Hearing the Marville clock chiming faintly, Maisie realises that it's time to go home. She still hasn't met anyone in the library which she thinks is rather strange, although she did notice some areas that she hadn't cleaned were now free of dust so there must be another maid around. Problem is, in such a big library it's hard to find anyone else. Carefully replacing the books, she goes home smiling. She has managed to make a real difference in the look of the library today and is quite proud of herself.

It's Riv's first day at work.. after a relatively peaceful previous job, he was quite hopeful about his new job as a Test Subject, but still.. cleaning and being a "lab rat" weren't.. exactly the same thing.  He slides up a lab table and cautiously picks a calm blue potion from it. Gulping it down quickly, he is pleased from the sweet flavor it has and suddenly, seeing himself in a mirror across of him, notices that his Marvir body is now sky blue colored with spots of white - immediately reminding him of clouds. Feeling happy and cheerful (and wondering whether those are side effects of the potion he just took), he picks up a solid black, bubbling potion, and drinks it. Watching himself in the mirror across the room, he is disgusted to see himself contort and twist, his skin turn a coal-like color and bubble like boiled water. He quickly downs a (hopefully not destructive) clear potion and hurries off, too scared to see in his reflection how he has changed, this time. |

Only seeing his reflection hours after leaving his work yesterday, Riv is alarmed to see the water-like potion he last drank the day before had only turned him into what looked like a mere outline - the rest of him was completely see-through. He decides to stick only with food today, and, seeing a plate of what appeared to be an unknown species of fish, decides to try it out. He is quite surprised when he suddenly feels sharp shark teeth pushing through in his mouth. He quickly eats a chocolate cupcake with red icing from a different plate, but is horrified to see in the mirror that he now has pink blush on his cheeks and lipstick all around his (agape) mouth.

Despite yesterday's testing results, Riv was hopeful as he entered the laboratory for the third (and last) time. He picks out an innocent-looking carrot, and munches on the tip of it. Unsurprisingly, he feels (and sees, in the usual mirror across the room) incisors growing inside his mouth, only.. they don't stop growing. Riv watches, horrified, as his new front teeth keep on growing and growing, now nearly hitting the table. (It didn't take much time, seeing how a Marvir body isn't really that big.)
Apparently, he had no idea that being a test subject meant testing things that.. weren't quite perfected, yet. Thinking fast, he quickly drinks a nearby clear potion (hoping it is a sort of "In Case of Emergency Potion", and is quite relieved to see his incisors stopped growing. After a quick look around the room, he notices another bottle in a corner that reads "Result Reversal", and figures it's his best hope. Hopping over to the solid white potion and gulping it down, he feels his teeth shrink back until they disappear completely, and is relieved once again.
Riv decides to test a couple accessories from the Accessory Box before calling it a day.

Maisie enters the library once again, eager to finish the job. It's a very nice library, but it is rather quiet and a little lonely.
Gazing around, she realises that she seems to have cleaned most of the lower levels. This leaves only the top shelf. She can see a rolly-slide type contraption in one corner which she supposes will allow her to reach the top, but she's less than excited about getting up so high. Nervously, she slides up to the top and all goes wll until she tries to lean forwards and dust something. With a lurch, the structure begins to move slowly to the left, moving along the shelf.
That must be the general idea, she thinks, although, should it really be moving so fast? As she careers down the library her duster is whisked along the shelf, raising the dust rather than disposing f it but it is actually rather fun. Having got the idea, once she reaches the corner she leans a little to turn it and begins on the next row.
Maisie has so much fun, that she is surprised to look at her watch and find that it is nearly time to go home. She slides back down to the ground and works on a few finishing touches before making her way home.

"Kyuuuu!" Mokona happily accepts the posters and pamphlets, soon looking around excitedly for a place to start. After a moment of thought, Mokona excitedly leaps out the window and heads to the park today, hanging posters on telephone poles on it's way there.
Mokona's eyes light up at the sight of the park, but it soon shakes it off, today Mokona had to get work done before playing. It starts by tacking a poster to the events board near the entrance, handing pamphlets to a couple of curious marvir nearby.
Continuing on, Mokona spies some old people feeding the birds. Mokona sticks a poster on the park bench and hands them a couple pamphlets. After a few minutes of having it's cheeks pinched and told how cute it is, Mokona gets back to it's job.
Next, it hangs a poster on the top of the big slide, sliding down at the end-- who says work can't be fun? Mokona spies the ice cream stand, soon unable to help itself and gets a small cone. Mokona asks permission afterwards, and manages to get an ok for hanging a poster on the side of the stand.
Ah, the posters seem to be very visible now, but there are still some pamphlets to hand out. Mokona soon heads over to the picnic area and hands them out to anyone who seems interested.
Time goes by, and before it knew it, the sun is setting in the sky. Mokona is amazed at how fast the time actually went by today, this job is actually pretty fun! Mokona skips back home, humming a happy tune and putting a few last posters on fences on the way.
