Yeah, I definitely think they look Mongolian to me. I like them, they fit along the lines of the cultural royalty like the Roman Korbats, Indian Elephantes, Chinese Mynci, Arabian Draiks, Norse Yurbles, etc. Actually, I'm surprised they managed to come up with another set of cultural royal outfits, I didn't think they'd be able to do it. Props to them for some creative thinking.

Unfortunatly, I can't say I like them as royal pets. Recently, although I love the new idea with using different cultural themes, the outfits just don't seem...regal enough.
Like, obviously this is traditional Mongolian. However, I don't think this is what Mongolian royalty would wear.
don't get me wrong. I LOVE the cultural idea! (Heck, I'd do anything for a Royal Girl Elephante). I just don't think it belongs to this kind of paintbrush.
The RoyalGirl hat makes me giggle, though. =P

I don't know. I'm not sure how off they are. I googled royal mongolian and got this: Seems pretty close.

The hat, maybe. Something's not right. Especially with the girl. =/
I think they totally should have had the girl wear Princess Amidala hair instead. xD

Yes they do look Royal Mongolian to me. I love the idea of the royalty of other cultures and Twocent's picture seems to resemble the clothes of the Royal Girl. As for the Royal boy...Who couldn't look at that helmet and not think of Ghengis Khan?
If only they were released before Customisation. I'm sure they would have looked AWESOME on two legs! Don't get me wrong, they still look pretty cool!

By the sole look of those Wockies, the pre-customisation versions would've been literally breathtaking. Look at all those layers of clothes. That's the kind of thing that got turned into flowing robes before the customisation *pokes Royalgirl Aisha*
Not that I'm complaining ^^ The royalboy Wocky is an awesome color, haven't seen that dark smoke blue on any pet before. Actually, they're both an awesome color. And the Mongolian aspect is a great touch. Royalty doesn't only mean the Elizabethan/Louis XIV style, so major props to Neo for these little hints of cultural education in their line of royal pets.

... I love them. ^__^ And coming from me, that should mean something, as I'm pretty sure I'm usually regarded as an anthro fan. But you know what -- a good neopet design can look good even if it's not anthro, and I think I'm finding myself focussing more on the creativity of the design than the fact that it would have looked "better" anthro. I love the fur accents and thick robes, presumably made from leathers and woven material. The colours are beautiful, and they have a sort of rugged nobility about them that I definitely have to give TNT the thumbs up for. ^_^

XD Hahahaha! Ohmigosh, they are tooo cute. I love their hats and layers of clothing. They differ greatly from the usual medieval royal themed pets, and I adore them for that. Sure, they may not look as "royal" as some, but it's a different kind of royalty. The fur colors are gorgeous. I love them.

Eh, they're good by themselves, but I don't think they stand up as royal pets. I'm not sure straying off the whole Meridellian theme was such a good idea.

I'm enjoying what they're coming up with for the different royal pets. I was so sure that there would be Norse royal Wockies until the Yurbles took that idea... With the wholr custom/presustom thing... Part of me wants to draw them to see what they'd be anthro, but I also love that TNT is still doing cool designs even with pets on four legs, though I am glad that they have the Elephante on two, as the Royal Girl Elephante would be destoryed even more then the poor Aisha... Not that the new royal Aisha's are bad, just way different.

I think they're pretty cute, though the neck ruff makes them both look like they have beards.
I love that TNT is doing this whole cultural theme, with the royal pet colors and the different worlds... I just wish players would pick up on it themselves.

Not to stray off topic or anything, but what was the main visual difference between Genghis Khan's Mongols and Atilla's Huns?
Aren't they both Central Asian horseback nomads? I heard they looked a little different in the style of their clothes., or their camps.

I heard they looked a little different in the style of their clothes., or their camps. Well, from what I know, mongols wore a little more clothes x3 Huns were mainly hide-clad. Fact is, just about any tribe out there is unique in a sense, whether or not outsiders can make a difference. Estonia's population is barely big enough to make up a minority group somewhere in New York's slums, and back on the days our women were able to tell which villages other women were from solely by the pattern of stripes in their skirts (and there were lots of patterns). Kinda like with tartan, y'know.

I'd paint Naz if I had the neopoints, although the eyelashes on the wocky are urrgh D: I like how the coloration is slightly duller than the regulat pets. Hm, the thing is, some people complained about Neopets becoming too anthrocentric XP
