The Spong Shoyru looks very...Jelly-like, don't you think? And, I kind of like the beaten Sponge Shoyru pose. XD I have no idea why (perhaps because it's somewhat watery?). Doesn't look like melting ice to me, though. More like melting jelly (if there is such a thing).

I like these new colors!  They actually look slightly redraw-ish. Notice how the head is shaped a bit smoother than the current Shoyru, and the eyes are a little different too? I actually don't want a big revamp for Shoyrus; I think they look pretty nice as they are. The Sponge Shoyru looks very jelly-like. When I first saw it, I thought "Jelly Shoyru?... No, it has holes in it". It's kind of an unusual color, but I like it. The beaten pose appeals to me for some reason. XP It looks like it has a beard of water. And the Strawberry Shoyru is really cute. ^^ Would make a fun story character, I think. I can't picture my Shoyru as a fruit, though... |

Yeah, it does kind of look like they traced over the Shoy base rather than using it... and, they redid the shading, which makes them look a lot better/less flat. And, having black lines (rather than dark grey) makes it less painful to look at (the red one's the best example).  I'm a proponent for a bigger revamp for Shoyrus, because I really don't like the way they're posed. You know there's a problem when your toy company accidentally makes one-eyed Shoyrus. XD Though, if done right, it would be like the Pirate/Faerie Shoys- doing nothing to the pet except reposing it. My first thought about the Sponge Shoy was "it's a cheese ghost! XD", which pretty much sums up my thoughts about the pet. It's cute and different, but could look more like a sponge. XD As for Strawberry, I like the seeds. The shading around them makes it look more solid, and that's a good thing. ^_^ |

The sponge shoyru looks a bit off because I haven't seen a shiny sponge before. But I really like the beaten pose.
The Strawberry shoyru is kinda nice. And I really like the seeds flying off when it's hit.

Know what? I have sucessfully convinced myself that the Sponge Shoyru is the pet for me! *after release, will now go to the lab everyday hoping lab rat gets zapped into a Sponge Shoyru*

I like the strawberry shoyru but the sponge one looks like it's been cut out from either the moon or a bit of mouldy cheese  |
