XDD I was just going to make a thread. Lucky I decided to wait.
There's not very many entries in this issue. D: But, then again, 300 is really soon.

Thanks Dan. I now know that the new Times is out.
Well, since I'm posting anyway, I might as well do my first reviews.
The King of Meridell by sir_serene: Very good. I saw the fact that it wouldn't turn out to be what he wanted coming, but I didn't quite expect that! It made me laugh pretty hard. Again, good job.
Razzle Dazzle - Episode XIII by khestrel: Daezzelle is settling right in, isn't she? I liked it. And your art is good, too.
Sorry about how short the reviews are. I tried to write them without any spoilers.

Thanks for putting up my piece, Dan. ^_^
It feels good, really good, to finally have something in the 'Times again after, what, ten weeks?
If anyone has the time to spare (I am fully aware it's a precious commodity these days), I would really appreciate reviews for "Feathers That Don't Merely Shine." It's quite possibly one of my personal favorites to have made it in the 'Times.

Feathers That Don't Merely Shine by Wolf Okay opening sentence and paragraph. Not great, but not bad.
HERE you have my attention:
Only problem is that's the third paragraph. You could easily have re-arranged this to be your first. Just a suggestion.
Wow, only 2 sentences, but a GREAT visual. Nicely done description there.
*dies laughing* Sad thing is, only Americans will get this joke.
Wow, I'm surprised this is in the NT. It is basically an attempted murder scene. Cool.
HHHEEEEY, this is a short story! Do you plan on writing a sequal, or is this just your way of explaining the Radioactive Pteri book?
Overall, it was a little short and had no closure, but it was written well. You managed to get in some edgy subject matter, and you handled it well. Even though it was VERY short, I got a great feel for this character and place. Your style and execution are always right on, Wolf.

I'm trying to get back into the habit of reviewing. I know how important it is to people, how important it is to me. I'm too tired at the moment to give the pieces the reviews they deserve, so I plan to review in the morning. Hold me to it!

The King of Meridell by sir_serene That was hilarious! The buil-up was steady and nicely written, and the speech itself was incredibly well-done and succinct. The best part was the reactions on Skarl's face as he read the speech.
Razzle Dazzle - Episode XIII by khestrel In the second panel, I was oddly reminded of the artistic stylings of the Lion King. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though; I loved that movie and the animation was awesome, some of my favorite. The joke in this comic was quite hilarious, and the line about baby steps just wrapped it all together and made it whole.

Revenge and Resistance: Part Nine by Dan Nothing against you, of course, but I think this is the first time it's taken me ten weeks to read a nine-part series. XD
However, the absence of this in last week's NT did make the synopsis here quite helpful compared to past weeks'. :)
When Sloth's underling said there was a cloaked ship flying towards them, I almost thought he would look at the monitors and say, "I don't see anything." But your use of heat-sensing equipment was many times better than that ever would have been in this story.
In the time Gormos said that, he could have said something more encouraging, I think.
The actual encounter, when revenge met resistance, was rather short considering the tremendous amount of events that had led up to it. However, it was written well, and so it was satisfying. Had you tried to make it last longer, the swiftness it seemed to have would have felt lost to jumbled wordiness. So, though something longer may have been more enjoyable, given how this was presented, I was quite pleased with it nonetheless.
The epilogue-like ending nicely wrapped up the series and concluded it perfectly. It was bittersweet, though. Because, although these character did save the world, everything is only going back to normal. It was merely their duty, and now that it is done, they move on. Though that, too, is fitting, it is bittersweet for me.
I also believe that, while TNT may never admit it, the real reason that Kreludor didn't join the Altador Cup this year was because everyone had joined the Resistance. ^_^
And I still stand by what I said, that this would make a perfect plot on Neopets.

Waiting for Anna: Part Three by Fj0rd How...horrible...the events that happened in this part.
It was very sad to read, the rising knowledge of Darigan, or Kass, (lovely, that was) coming to Meridell, Anna's being deprived of her woods and ignoring her magic, and then the end, when she's shoved into darkness and hears at last only sadness.
I almost don't want to read the next part this was so tragic, but I need to know...if everyone's alright...so I have to.

The Giant Meepit of Peace, A Revolution? by nadia8705 The note about everything you did, so much on paper, only taking an hour and a half was funny. And my jaw dropped to the floor and then to my nonexistent basement when I went back and found out that you were really being serious about the image's properties. I never noticed that before. And, well, it just stunned me that you weren't making up such a seemingly random and absurd thing as that...
Despite the frequency I saw a lot of things repeated in this, it was a pleasant article and was easy to read. With so little information on the topic at hand, such is understandable, and you made it work out well.
I think it certainly fit being in the Petpet Appreciation Day issue.
All You Need to Know About PESTS! by lassie_nikki Personally, I wasn't incredibly thrilled with this article. The information presented was nice and the research that clearly went into it showed beautifully, but the oftentimes seemingly endless paragraphs deterred me. As well, a lot of the facts seemed to jump around and didn't have a congruent flow through its entirety.
The ending, however, was nicely done and served well as a concluding paragraph.

thank you wolf. i must admit i ran out of things to type so i sort of did do a lot of repeating. *oops* i didnt think it was that noticeable...lol I though it would never get in the paper seeing as they did hold it over for about a month..o_0 but im quite happy how it turned out. Also about the images properties, I had to use some sort of fact to make my article...XD!

... alright, so I seriously need to login every now and then.
Yeah, I'm an NTWFer, I just kind of offline-ly stalk the boards all the time. But I'll do better now that I'm writing again, I swear! And I'll try to do some reviews tomorrow. Really!
(This is silent_snow, btw, and any reviews for Stuck- part 1 would be greatly adored.)
