Kois and Peophins: Long Lost Siblings?
I personally have never heard this argument, but it's an interesting topic to write an article on. However, given your title I think you should have a more convincing argument as to why they COULD be long lost siblings. The reasons you gave, besides being from Maraqua, either could be true of most pets or weren't very convincing.
It's fine if you want to say that, but it's a little random stuck in where it is. The tone also switches abruptly from the first part of that paragraph where you're talking about the swimming lessons to the part I quoted.
The reasons the two are different are much more convincing and seem very well thought out. You've drawn some nice conclusions from books and even every day items like toys.
I didn't know there were no Neopedia articles on the two species. Nice catch!

Um, sorry if this comes out accusingly, but I remember seeing the comic "Lord of the Lost!" in the Neopian Times before...

The Five Sacred Stones of Geraptiku: Part Six by dan4884
Awww. Poor Jake. *huggles Gelert* I like how you start to… not rebuild Geraptiku, but preserve it. Put it so visitors could see how it used to be/how it really is. The paintings in the tomb were a nice touch too, it gives the suggestion that some of them escaped, only to come back and leave a message for him where they knew he’d look.

Return of the Double Agent: Part Nine by precious_katuch14 and shadowcristal
"But won't you allow a lady some time to dress properly?" "You are no lady," Hee! I love how blunt the guards are here. Cylene’s panic is a nice addition, turn about is fair play after all she’s seen/written/told though out the story. You almost get the feeling that she was insulted that her victims didn’t mind everyone finding out what she’s been so intent on spying to black mail them with. The public reading of the poetry was … very bad. At least the poetry was. Shouldn’t she at least get an avatar for making Skarl laugh that hard?

A Weak Heart: Part Twoby literalluau Ohh, the plot thickens. *grin* The only problem I could find in this chapter was when you switched from talking about needing to see Kayla, to suddenly being in Kayla’s shop. I had to re-read over that part to figure out exactly what happened. Maybe next time stick in a ***** or some other marker to show that there’s been a time/place transition? Other than that I love what you’re doing with this story. Bring in the Dark Faeries.

City Lupe on the Plains: Part Oneby kindheartedfairy Stupid city Lupes. *brick’d* Okay, not that I can really talk on that. "HiyaJosephinewhere'veyoubeen wecouldn'tfindyouandsoDaenel sentmeto lookforyou! Solet'sgoc'mon! HecancometooIguess," the Lupe said, disregarding all vocal pauses, punctuation, and most spaces. It’s nice to see that Koko has relatives in the Lupe world too. A lot of this chapter is setting up for the next chapter, and while some of it I didn’t think needed explaining I don’t know where the story is going… So I could be wrong. It will be very interesting to see what happens, especially with Jane.

Today in Neopiaby eyeslikestars Fear the scary Quiggle. I like the detail on the Jubjub, especially his little foot print. The Ascara seems a little … stretched? I love the expressions though, on all three of them.

Shoyru Squadron: Agents of Faerie by the_darkjedi
Oh man, serious Batman flashbacks here. Bam! Whap! Kazow! … Sorry, got a little carried away there. (Did I mention I liked those old Batman episodes?) It will be interesting to see how they pull out of this.

Trapped by ssjelitegirl
Hee! Love the mouse trap idea! Certainly not something one would expect when breaking into a house. Love the lighting effect from the fridge too, and all the traps stuck all over Kanrik is a nice touch.

*snirk* Cardboard and rock petpets unite! Very cute art and concept here. The Xweetok’s drama act makes it even funnier… especially his expression in the last panel.

Land of pacman: I liked this, an original twist on the "rock's can't move" principle, plus the xweetok rocked Trapped: need I say anything? this is huntress and her comics are always amazing. I do like the way recogniseable people keep coming back Five stones of gerapitiku: I liked the entire series, the way he's believable and how in a roundabout way he causes it... Notions and nonsense: original, funny, yup! can't rmeember whether this was the slightly pixellated one though. lord of the lost: so THAT'S where people get the draiks from... It did take me a while to get the joke though, nice drawing though agents of the faerie: the drawing is amazing, but you know that. however I DID notice something, I started writing behind closed doors before the first comic of this and I've just realised they're both working undercover for fyora.. sorry about that, great minds think alike?

Wow, this week's short stories all have custom pics! Just something I noticed... The Dreamer by dark_goddess_rising I liked the descriptions - they really worked well with how Pseilla must have been feeling. thought it'd be longer though and more dialogue but I suppose not every story has to have speech. I found the abrupt change of heart at the end a bit too abrupt but it was a good story. The Dark Before The Dawn: the Beginning by jambammer A cute story, although I thought ball was very twisted...and it seemed to kind of stick out of the story. Like it wasn't really necessary. I thought everything happened very fast and it ended very quickly. But in a way it worked. I liked the opening paragraph, it set the story well. A good job.

Land of Pacman by pacmanite Hehe! Cute joke and the graphics were cute too. XD Just one little tiny detail...I didn't think the Snicker_Weasel's expression in the last panel matched what he was saying. I saw some other reviewers say this as well. But still cute. Lord of the Lost by gliderames I don't really understand it...but good joke. Trapped by ssjelitegirl Really good graphics! Cute joke too. I loved the last panel! XD The Shoyru Squadron: Agents of Faerie by the_darkjedi *wants to be able to draw like you* Today in Neopia by eyeslikestars Cute joke! Cute pictures. Funny. That is all I have to say.

The Dark Before The Dawn: the Beginning by jambammer
I had no problems following this story – though that may have had a lot to do with the fact that I read the story that this is the Prequel to. I think that some people who hadn’t might have a hard time following the flurry of names. For those who did though, it’s a nice bit of extra depth to the story.
