Due to some chaos on when preview threads should be made and their relation to review threads (apparently, preview threads draw attention away from the review threads, which, according to most, are more important).
NOTE: This is just a poll. Please don't start unnecessary debates/arguments on this thread. Do not bash other people's opinions...you should know that. j;)

I think they should be moved to Wednesdays because that is soon enough after the last issue to avoid people getting impatient and also long enough after to make sure people are still making reviews.

*nods* I'd suggest Wednesdays as well. 12 o'clock NST as before. In my timezone that even means a couple of hours before Thursday and I s'pose it's late enough. And preview threads created before that time should probably be locked.

The later, the better, to me. It seems that people get so caught up in the new previews that they stop completely with current reviews. I'm looking forward to summer coming, when the reviews threads will hopefully be more active.

I like Tuesdays, because it's earlier than Wednsday, but too early would be bad.

Wednesday for the reasons mentioned above. Tues is too early in my opinion, that's three whole days before the next issue! By Tues I often don't even have my acceptance letter yet.

I like Thursdays. It's plenty enough time to boast about what you've got in.

Wednesday. That's when I usually get my responses.

I say Tuesday, because I get a response on Monday, and I'm quite impatient. Tuesday at noon NST? That's my vote. Besides, Thursday wouldn't due. The NT has been released many a time on a Thursday! Hasn't it?

I vote Thursdays. Sure, occasionally the NT is released on a Thursday night, but that doesn't happen nearly as often as the review thread dies down when the preview thread is opened. The preview thread really doesn't matter all that much at all anyway, ultimately -- everyone will find out you've got something in when it shows up and/or you ask for reviews. It's fun to have somewhere to jump and squeal and perhaps to publicize, but not crucial.

Heh heh... I voted for abolishing the non-special issue ones. But I don't think that'll really happen, so I'll just say start the thread on Thursdays. One day is plenty of time to brag about your stuff. Besides, we all know that they'll be started at midnight on Thursday (which I, night owl that I am, would still call Wednesday night ), so that'll give us nearly two days to talk about our work. In short: Thursday, most definitely.

I think we've come a long way in terms of Previews/Reviews and I vote Wen/Thur as well... /looksbackatwhenhepostedapreviewthreadbeforeanissuecameout

Wednesday. That's when the previews for the NT normally appear.

I've got a suggestion.
How about a preview thread can only be started by someone who's got a confirmed entry in. The acceptance letter and everything like that. And they have to wait until they get that before they can post on the thread or one can begin? *shrugs*
