Psycho and I have been talking for a while, and we have decided that it would be in both our interests if we took our leave from this forum. Nobody is to blame for this, it's just that we both want to move on. The NTWF has been a great place to me, and I have grown deeply attached to the people here, and to the place. Too attached perhaps. It's time we took a break, it could be for a month, six months, a year, forever.. we don't know. Perhaps one of us will return and the other won't. The forum has been at the center of my life for a long time, and it's time for me to set my life back in order. It pains me a little to write this, but perhaps when one day I'm satisfied, I'll return.
I'm sorry for leaving on such short notice. The thing I regret the most is not carrying the Guild Wars roleplay out until the end. I hope you'll be able to forgive me for that. I'll still be available on MSN, and I hope the friendships I've made here will hold fast. But one thing I ask of you all, please do not deluge me with IMs asking me why I'm leaving or to ask me to return. I don't want to have to block any one of you.
It's been a great time, and I thank you all for that. But my life does need rearranging, and perhaps I'll meet some of you somewhere else online. I don't know.
This is not an April's fool joke. If you wish to take it as such, so be it.
The following is a message from Psycho:
"Dear friends and fellow forumers, The sun has moved across the sky and so must the Shadow follow its path. My name is Lynne and the world I live in is moving without me - thus I bid this world an "a bientot" while I move on to the one from which I have come. Perhaps someday I will return, for nostalgic reasons, and I pray the friendships I have made here will never whither."
"Fortune, I've apologized to you personally already, but I'd like to apologize here for abandoning you at the opening of your grand game. It is one I highly regret leaving but I do believe after this shameless plug, several more players will crop up to fill my place as your indestructable femme fatale and partner in crime."
"Good bye!"
