Lemon with hot water helps. Or honey and milk. Or a glass of the former followed by a glass of the latter. xD ..I have two computers to myself, so I hardly have a problem of having to share. You're welcome. And sickness in general is annoying when you're trying to sleep, because it makes you pretty much unable to. I've been having honey-nilk tea for the whole day, hopefully that will help. Thanks for the advice Kit! ^^ Shade, if you can't sleep, don't try. Read a book for a while and then try to sleep again. That usually helps deal with insomnia. Shade can sleep. It's just a bit of a pain with a cold. And in the middle of the night, turning on a light to read would be annoying.

Unless it's after I've woken up and am trying to back to sleep. Then it's a pain. I find it more difficult to sleep when sick, mostly because it's hard to get comfortable and to settle down into a state of mind where you can drift off to sleep. Depends where you live. If you stayed in Penang, it's much easier to get used to it than to try and avoid it. xD But I can avoid it here. And that's a very good thing, I think. I think it's neither a good thing or a bad thing because it's rather subjective. I mean, I don't mind it. So I guess it's good for you, because you do.

If I'm not sleepy, I might as well do something else. Like write.

Since last night I was tired from waking up unreasonably early. But I can avoid it here. And that's a very good thing, I think. That's what I usually do. It takes your mind off getting to sleep and usually when you think about getting to sleep, you can't.

Since last night I was tired from waking up unreasonably early. But that was fun in its own way, since it gave more Shadetime. Well, we'll see. I think it's neither a good thing or a bad thing because it's rather subjective. I mean, I don't mind it. So I guess it's good for you, because you do. True. But if I had to get used to spices, I would. It's like learning languages I guess. If you don't have to, you probably won't. I know three languages only because I needed to know all three. If I didn't have to, I'd have happily stuck with one.

xD I may find that true tonight, though. Since last night I was tired from waking up unreasonably early. But that was fun in its own way, since it gave more Shadetime. Well, we'll see. It was fun. It's also not something that I want to do very often. True. But if I had to get used to spices, I would. It's like learning languages I guess. If you don't have to, you probably won't. I know three languages only because I needed to know all three. If I didn't have to, I'd have happily stuck with one. Three? Why did you need to know three?

Even when you're not sick, it's awesome. My way of dealing with insomnia is to just ignore it. If I'm not sleepy, I might as well do something else. Like write. Even plain old milk-tea is good. It takes your mind off getting to sleep and usually when you think about getting to sleep, you can't. xD.. I make myself a cup when I feel like giving myself a treat after a long day or something. I find that the best way to sleep is to just snuggle down with a couple of plushies and let yourself just drift away.

I like your way of dealing with it. It's much closer to how I would react. Are we similar because we talk a lot, or do we talk a lot because we're similar? Both, probably.

But that was fun in its own way, since it gave more Shadetime. Well, we'll see. It was fun. It's also not something that I want to do very often. No, you probably wouldn't want to. Then you might end up with a sleep schedule like mine. It's like learning languages I guess. If you don't have to, you probably won't. I know three languages only because I needed to know all three. If I didn't have to, I'd have happily stuck with one. Three? Why did you need to know three? Well, English because my family spoke English. Malay because it was the national language and if I wasn't fluent in it I'd fail school. Chinese because I needed that to order food.

Are we similar because we talk a lot, or do we talk a lot because we're similar? Both, probably. So we start off similar, and we just get even more similar as time goes by?

Chinese because I needed that to order food. I'm amused by that last one. I really am.
